"And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass;
he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
@rydorzirix Well, not anything. There are some things which are apparently beyond the power of The Almighty:
"And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron - Judges 1:19
@giinhhakha Number 3 is not smug and superior, it is an almost verbatim repeat of things said to me by actual Christians on YouTube, as are many of these!
People have actually said to me words to the effect that only their knowledge that God will see their sins and punish them prevents them from committing the most heinous acts.. and that because we atheists don't believe we're being watched like that, we must obviously be regularly doing all that stuff!
This is a sad attempt to attack followers of Jesus. It is nothing but bitterness and resentment and not really a quiz but a beat down. Nothing new in this attack, same old rhetoric, based upon if you do not conform your thinking, I must destroy you. Sad commentary from the author. You have made yourself god rather than believing in the true God. Nothing more than hate speech.
@durbinjeff It's not an attack as such, just a humorous commentary on certain hypocritical and absurd beliefs which are common among fundamentalists.
Is it not true, for example, that the same people who get upset about Christians not being free to practice overseas are usually the ones leading the charge against mosques in the neighbourhood? Is it not true that fundamentalists go to absurd lengths to deny well proven scientific facts, for religious reasons?
@aikido7 My personal favourite Jesus teaching that Christians ignore is the one about how only hypocrites pray in public, to which the religious right have expressed a very clear "fuck that shit" with respect to their ongoing campaigns to force public prayers into school and government.
The only real questions that really deal with fundamentalism is question #7 & 8.

Regarding question #3, this video has it's own superior tone to it. Especially with #10 thrown in. Delicious ironies abound.

Hypocrisy... Jesus of Nazareth said a LOT about THAT.
Those who worship Christ, however, often know nothing about following Jesus.
