i have a 4.1 GPA but my SAT score is TOTALLY horrible..... D:........does anything think i still have a chance of getting accepted???

@Ks3Kevin ditto...not sure about GPA as I do IB but my SATs are absolute cr*p. (CR :O)

Apparently with 4.1 GPA you'd have a 75% chance being accepted, and with a very high SAT score the % chance is lower. Can't be sure but good luck to both of us!!

You just need a high gpa somewhat of an ok SAT score and lots of extra curricular activities

i want to go to ucla or ucsd i want to be a dentist so im not sure which school would be better for me i know i would also like to go to ucsf and i know they have a really good dental school but i heard that it is only a graduate school

@mzblaqface Being a dentist is extremely competitive, stop worrying about what school you're going to get into and accept the fact you're going to be lucky to get into a lower ranked dental school.

What are some good requirements that make you stand out when you apply to this college?

@siddu9898 There's a point system in which they base off their admissions. It's on their website somewhere, but the top two categories are GPA (5000 possible points) and SATs (3000 possible points).

@SageSwan the college is walking distance from La Jolla Shores and Black's beaches (absolutely beautiful!). It's also 2 miles away from Torrey Pines State Reserve. It has a few Eucalyptus Groves and canyons. However, it is in the middle of a small town/city (La Jolla)

@SageSwan Not a urban area per se. It it next to beaches, and has some buildings. Most people who live there are either UCSD students or super rich people who own $2 million houses.

i wanna go to UCSD, UCLA, or UCSF. i m reading comments and some of u said there are 6 colleges in S+UCSD or in SD iono if u know Wong Fu productions but thats the place i wanna go thats if they have nursing or medical field there if not ill take a look at these other 6 colleges thats if there is any..

UCSD has a great visual arts program, which is what the Wong Fu productions group majored in. They were all in different colleges, since your college does not relate to your major. The college you choose will determine which GE's you take. I'd recommend Marshall or Muir or if you are an engineering student - Warren.

And also, whats' wrong with sixth? I hear a lot of bad things about it, and lots of good things. There's no mediating factor, the comments are all in the extremes o.O.

Also, is there a way for me to call UCSD and ask for a college switch?

The Political Science department is pretty impressive - they have some fantastic faculty members.

@MacPr0xnxx0 The Political Science department office is in the Social Sciences building, which is between Marshall and Roosevelt (ERC). You can be in any college and be in the Poli Sci program. However, if you are a transfer, I'd recommend Warren or Muir for the easier GE's
