  • 2:38 WHAT!!!!! "Hey I got a great idea for a movie, it's called Edward Penis Hands." "so there is this movie with Uma before Pulp Fiction." "Oh what's it about?" "Uma has big dick shaped thumbs so she hitchhike."

I mean jeez...I'm surprised they can even show those things on 90's television...

  • Cops and robersons was actually quite funny and endearing I thought.

  • bb330708 no theres more than that

  • Interesting how they didn't use Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, although they hated that film. I would've put it on there even though it was a hit.

  • Which one is Ebert? I can't tell, because there is only 1 pixel.

  • I don't think I would have ever referred to Steven Segal as a "big star".

  • The Critic led me here. ha those love birds

  • HAHA these "Worst Of" episodes are great! I always avoided them for some reason now Im trying to watch all of them.

  • Comment removed

  • I got syphilis form Ebert in 1965

  • Jackass loving trolls are on the rampage. It's not like Ebert will ever read their pathetic rants.

  • @StanleyKu thats what i keep saying

  • OMG is ebert gross

  • Mean little dweeb

    lmaoo

  • Gene Siskel sounds like Bill Maher

  • Is it possible to want to strangle the title character of a movie? Clifford comes to mind as does Tom Green in Freddy Got Fingered..

  • Uh there has been technology that has been hidden that costs next to nothing

  • I don't care what anyone says; Clifford is really funny. I loved watching Clifford torment Charles Grodin.

  • @daveybaby131 and you have a hideous personality which causes you to put down people

  • @34RiverStone look in the mirror

  • @daveybaby131 obviously you don't even have one. Says the person who thinks ebert is ugly etc. . So by saying "look in the mirror" are you saying ur fine with putting down one of the best movie critics and it's my fault i don't like it? Everything you say just shows what your like. And i know you don't want me to reply, but i don't care. And i did not lie to get on youtube, and i am far from eight years old. You probably are, though.

  • @daveybaby131 Real mature.Just because you don't like what he says about a movie you like, there's no need for insults directed at him and his wife. Why don't you review a movie and see what people say about you? grow up..

  • @mrgb46 LOL, from you the loser with the rodent picture! That's rich! Feel free to continue seeking his advice on which movie to see

  • 5:04 Oral refinery? :o

  • I feel pity for people seeking someone like fatso Ebert's opinion on anything. He can't even pick good clothes. He wore a 1960's hairstyle in the 1980's.

  • @Dottiecurran Well I'm glad we have you to tell us who's wrong and right, dude.

  • @Dottiecurran We don't seek his opinion. His criticisms are generally interesting and entertaining. Critics are just entertainers themselves and I've liked plenty of movies he has thumbed down. These guys are selling their personalities and articulation not movie tickets.

  • "Before you save the world, save the movie."

    Great line, Roger!!

  • 1994 was my favourite year in cinema history...oh dear.

  • Funny, Segal (whoever wrote that) was right, the oil companies were/are holding back technology.... but nobody would listen then cause gas was 60 cents a gallon... still a shitty movie

  • 0:55 - 2:09 'Perfect' rank of worst funny westerns.

  • 0:01-0:03 Ever since I saw the Nostalgia Critic's tribute to Siskel and Ebert, I imagine them arguing about whether they killed the hooker or not.

  • A Troll in Central Park is the Worst 1994's Movie Ever Made!!!

  • where's the best of 94 ???

  • Wow,Seagal is really acting,isn't he??

  • the laugh at 8:03 made me spit out my coffee lol

  • "That speech comes WAY out of left field."

LEFT field is right!! What a pretentious Seagal moment!

  • They really did play that game with the eggs on Easter Island.

  • @Blackboilingrobotoil That doesn't make it good subject matter for a film. It certainly isn't dramatic, at least not in the way it's handled. People also used to put socks on piano legs in the Victorian era because they felt they were too phallic, but a movie about that would be pretty tedious.

  • @Blackboilingrobotoil Uh, ok. I didn't say anything about the film. Just saying that they really did do that.

  • Agree with Clifford, it was horrible. But they could have found a worse film than City Slickers 2 in their 10 worst films of the year.

  • Dana Delaney was a fox when she was younger.

  • @BlameEtc She sure was.

  • city Slickers 2 wasnt that bad---yes it was a retread of the 1st,and not as good, but it was still a good watch.

  • city slickers 2 isnt that bad

  • @nolanjuice84 you thinking of "Kitty Lickers 2" now thats a good movie.LOL

  • I loved watching Siskel & Ebert as a kid! I miss Siskel. That new guy they got sucks.

  • @breanntheartist1989 Richard Roeper...yeah I hated him too.

  • wtf! city slickers 2 is better than the original!!

  • "On Deadly Ground" the worst Segal movie ever and that's saying something!

  • Loved Exit to eden :)

  • Even cowgirls get the blues

two big thumbs down (i hope someone thought of that)

  • ads by google makes me sick...its on every friggin video too

  • BILLY CRISTALS!

  • Who can remember? Wagon's East, Even Cowgirls get the Blues, Cops & Robbertsons,Exit to Eden, Clifford, Rapa Nui, or even that silly R-rated version of a Capt. Planet episode On Deadly Ground. I sure do they all suck on ice. That from the year 1994 the year of Pulp Fiction, Clerks, The Lion King and everbody's favorite retard Forrest Gump.

  • the horse in wagons east was funny :P

  • does anyone know what ebert and roeper picked as the worst movies of 2000? thats the only list I could never really find does anybody remember? I'm guessing ebert and roeper or possibily both picked battlefield earth as the worst movie of that year.

  • I remember trying to watch Exit to Eden hoping for some great shots of Dana Delany only to find myself in awe of how bad the movie. I mean it wasn't just bad it was like so shockingly bad you almost had to admire it for its terrible-ness. When Rosie O'Donnell came out in an S&M suit that was it for me.

  • On Deadly Ground was basically Avatar minus the visual effects.

  • CLIFFORD IS A HILARIOUS, BRILLIANT MOVIE. I am serious, watch it and see for yourself :))

  • If anyone really thinks James Cameron is a terrible writer, you obviously haven't seen any Steven Seagal movie.

  • The 90's... those were the days...

  • Should have done a best of 94

  • i miss these to guys

    siskel is dead

ebert is peralized (meaning he cant talk)

  • Never saw "Silent Tongue", but "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" was excruciating to watch, despite its great cast!

On Deadly Ground was just plain laughable.

  • When Seagal takes a dump why do movie companies release it to cinemas

  • @JohnThePunk584

They used to, but not anymore. He hasn't made a theatrically released film in about ten years.

  • @welshfilmbuff Except for last year's "Machete" of course, but that was only a supporting role.

  • @Rbatty2

I forgot about that. Doesn't he actually play a mexican in that film? I often wonder if that man realises that most people think he's a joke. He's never been one for irony or sense of humour, has he?

  • @welshfilmbuff I think before that "Half Past Dead" was his last flick that got theatrical release. Yeah he's totally miscast but intentionally no doubt, as a Latin drug lord. He's actually quite funny in the role because he's so wrong for it. Maybe now he's hip to the fact that folks don't take him seriously but for a long time yeah he was pretty unhumourous. I remember when he hosted Saturday Night Live in 1991, what a trainwreck that show was.

  • @Rbatty2

Yeah, I think Half-Past Dead was his last theatrical release (that was around 2002, I believe?).

I saw a clip of his SNL appearence once and it was pretty uncomfortable to watch. Lorne Michaels even banned him from ever coming back on the show (but from what I understand, he's banned a lot of people, so getting on his badside can't be that difficult).

  • @welshfilmbuff Yup 02. Yeah if hosts decide to improv on air without checking him first, Lorne tends to ban them. Sometimes for being utterly difficult. Which I read Seagal was, from some staff interviews, he had totally unfunny suggestions for suggestions, and was just plain unbearable. Someone said: "You can't tell someone their shit and expect them to write for you on Thursday.", words to that affect. Almost fired him in fact. I saw the whole show and it was awful, you missed nothing.

  • @Rbatty2

There was a show on British TV a few years back called "The Friday Night Project". Every week they would get a celebrity to co-present the show with the two main hosts... and yes, you guessed it, they got Segal in one week. It wasn't quite as God-awful as I was expecting, but then again, in the series before that, Brigitte Neilsen was one of the co-hosts...

    that was truly horrific!

  • @welshfilmbuff Really, ha. Yeah I'll bet Seagal had to go overseas to get another tv hosting gig after SNL.

Oh dear, yeah Brigitte probably fares better on "reality tv" then something like that. Yikes.

  • I will stay until your hair has blown away!

  • I'm going to say this, and I want to see people's reactions, because this is the truth. The only film this year that I saw, that I thought was decent, was "True Lies".

And yes, I've seen Pulp Fiction. That movie is trash.

  • Whoa, whoa, whoa. Exit To Eden on one of the worst films of '94? How about one of the greatest films of all TIIIIIIIIIIME! Dana Delany nude? Having butter rubbed on her nipples? Seriously? All you need to do is place that scene on a permanent loop and scrap the rest. BOOM! Instant classic. How a boob man like Ebert kills this flick is beyond me.

  • Awful, yet they would not even make the cut for worst of 2010 or 2009 list.

  • ; Thank You for posting, and another reminder of how many stinker motion-pictures these two had to endure.

  • "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" and "Silent Tongue" have appreciated over the years.

  • @unclejay1973 Silent Tongue has totally not. I don't even on DVD. ECGTB has a 4.0 out of ten on imdb so I'm not really sure about that one either.

  • I disagree with City Slickers 2. It wasn't great, but it had its funny moments.

  • Funnily enough, the plot of On Deadly Ground, about setting up an oil rig in Alaska, was one of the proposals GW Bush, which he was dead set on. It never materialised, mainly cos it would have been an ecological screw up.

  • @yellowcougar18 . "Funnily"? That sounds like a word GW would use.

  • @SparksDrinker Taken from Websters dictionary.

    fun·ni·ly/ˈfənl-ē/Adverb

    1. In a strange or amusing way.

    2. Used to admit that a situation or fact is surprising or curious.

  • city slickers II was good!

  • I was born in 1994.The worst movie made that year was North.

  • @SaberNakai After Ebert's review of North, do you think he HATED it enough?

  • @hargosh37 Of course. He still hates it today.

  • @SaberNakai One of Ebert's funniest comments ever. Saying how much he HATED that movie. HATED, HATED, HATED, HATED this movie.

  • @SaberNakai I agree. That movie is so bad, you can't even find it on DVD. It was never released in that format.

  • @breanntheartist1989 I have City Slickers 2 on DVD LOL

  • Why the HELL would they make a sequel to the unfunny, overrated City Slickers??

  • Clifford. UGH!! I remember that piece of shit. Short has never made a good film and poor Grodin--he's great but he makes LOTS of shitty movies.

  • terrible video quality, but I can't complain, I love siskel and ebert and I love hearing them rant about terrible movies, probably moreso than I enjoy them talking about masterpieces, thanks for putting these up

  • NOW BATHE ME

  • @thebattleforX9 that should be a meme.

  • @thebattleforX9 : See, that movie's not ALL bad

  • sad that John Candy died during a bad movie

  • all clifford was funnny

  • Ah, watching these old reviews going back into the1980s really brings back memories.

  • @DarthHater100 the title of the video is "Worst of 94"

  • @syxx573 Ya I guess it does say that LOL. This is one video in a whole series that I watched of Siskel and Ebert reviews, many of which were '80s movies. I guess I wasn't really thinking. "Watching these old reviews" was more in reference to the other reviews I had watched here on YouTube.

  • 1994 was a great year for music, though. The only movie I liked that year was "Clear and Present Danger."

  • @BTLemming Ummm....Clerks? Pulp Fiction? Although I will agree that 1994 was a great year for music. :)

  • @WhoFan2020 Actually, I didn't care for either of those movies, however, I still have the Soundtrack to "Clerks". Again, great music that year!

  • I liked Siskel;can't stand Ebert.

  • @HUSKY57887 . you can't roger ebert? wow, you are in the minority.

  • city slickers 2 was a fun movie...i liked it

  • On Deadly Ground is just plain shit. Segal doesn't know anything about the enviroment, blowing up an oil rig will not help the planet if anything it'll ruin it a little more. Also why would Alaska hail Segal as a hero? Oil is their Number 1 trade resource!!!! Segal you get an F!!!

  • @johnhamilton08 while it isnt accurate you can indeed put out oilrig fires with explosions

  • @YoJimBoHugabaJoe I know about that, but the fact that he thinks the way to stop oil altogether is just stupid, while yes it does stop the fire, it also damages the enviroment in the process as well.

  • Steven Seagall is the biggest no talent jerk off ever.

  • why are all the siskel and ebert movie reviews being removed due to term violations??

  • @roxieheart100 Would love to know this as well!

  • Wait, wait, wait, wait; giant thumbs...? Are you serious; a movie staring Uma Thurman as a character with giant thumbs....? I am speechless. I have no response to this.

  • @SGTItachi47 Ironically, I just saw an ad on this video with a baby giving a thumbs up.

  • @SGTItachi47 Ah! The joys of Cowgirl.

  • @SGTItachi47

I almost fell out of my chair laughing...

  • @SGTItachi47 she masturbate with it i the movie..seriously

  • on deadly ground kicks ass

  • ah...even Kevin Costner couldn't save Rapa Nui

  • Siskel and Ebert fucking hate the environment!

  • @634devil- I hate it, too...

  • @Jurassic0Al I never said it was a bad thing!

  • Gene Siskel should have been especially pissed!

  • best show ever

  • A "bad" Billy Jack movie? Is there such a thing as a good Billy Jack movie?

  • Awwww, I love Clifford!

  • Oh VHS how glad I am you are gone

  • 5:37 lol, that's Josie from Twin Peaks

I guess that's what happened to her career

  • I love the bad tracking at the bottom of the screen. Makes you wonder if VHS tapes will last.

  • The Rapanui "easter island egg hunt" was an actual ritual though.

  • Look, it's British Petroleum XD

  • Clifford was FANTASTIC!!!!! Come on Gene and Roger.

  • Silent tongue is so bad it's good. Watch it sometime, and try not to laugh your ass off.

  • Wow that one for easter island is what really happened and siskel was going off on it for being fake.

  • If I was gonna bet on one of them to die I definetly wouldn't have bet on Siskel

  • Clifford is AWESOME. No joke.

  • worst of the year is always my fav

  • Too bad Siskel died. He was the more likeable guy of the duo.

  • hate to stick up for seagal logic but they do actually do that sometimes with oil leaks, blow it up.Hell Russia has put 2 oil leaks out with nukes

  • lol a time when seagal films actually saw cinemas :)

  • I love their sense of humour

  • I disagree with Clifford, I think that movie was hysterical.

  • Clifford was great, I DEMAND A DVD RELEASE!

  • Hey, I like Clifford!

  • Wow-Clifford!!! I watched that thing twice in a row once trying to figure out exactly why they made it.

  • did you record this on your VCR than capture it from that?

  • 5:30

    oil leak?

where did i hear that before?

now wait the movie is older...

  • DAMNIT SAGAL!! Where were you for BP!!!

  • On Deadly Ground was a piece of shit even by Steven Seagal standards..

  • It's sad that Wagons East was the last film by the late great John Candy. I tried to watch that movie and he looked like the walking dead in it which was very depressing to say the least.

  • Haha, it starts out with Clifford

  • There are no bad Billy Jack movies!

  • @radioactivenews seriously i was like bad billy jack movie....?

  • gus van sant rules

  • Jesus, On Deadly Ground was awful. It holds the strange distinction of being the only film I've ever been to where I was the only person in the movie theatre.

  • Steven Segal is a real shithead

  • I hated City Slickers and its stupid sequel.

  • Uma Thurman is a sexy mamacita

  • I actually really like the premise of Clifford.

  • iloved ClIFFORD, and how can you talk so inapropriatly about a steven segal movie any one who go's into a steven segal movie without a sense of kitsch or irony is out to easily shoot something down

  • Uma Thurman is so hot, I don't care if the film sucks.

  • On Deadly Ground fucking smelled
