  • Quite a few repeats there... It's not a different clip if you just take the same one you already showed and show more of it..

  • This was great I am going to have to have a star trek marathon in my house now ... going to check to see what i am missing

  • I think you shoulda made the video shorter and only have the normal jumps!

  • i miss ncc 1701 D, my fav ship, lol

  • Which episode is the jump at 7:01 from?

  • @stembuk It looked like the game Star Trek Bridge Commander to me.

  • @NeonHybridization TNG "Q Who"

  • No one ever has my all time fav: The Enterprise (refit) hauling ass away from the Reliant in Wrath of Khan.

  • What Voyager episode is that at 1:41? The scene with the beautiful blue star-scape?

  • @randomwords7007 That's from the online game Star Trek Online.

  • Is 1:54 from Generations? And if so, is there a link of this scene by itself? I think it's the best Galaxy warpout sequence in circulation.

  • Hmm, needs more Defiant.

  • Voyagers warp jump with the shuttle cochrane is one of my all time favorites.....a long with the out of control warp jump from species 8472

  • 2:55 is just badass.

  • lol at he end...

  • voyager looks koolest going to warp

  • If you notice, the warp drive on Voyager has a more feminine sound to it then the Enterprise-E. I would love if they included all the correct warp sounds in Star Trek Online.

  • Where is the scene from 7:15 from again? Cant find that episode. Just a beautiful Enterprise.

  • what is slipstream and what is that ship that looks liek sovreign class but its got a bar between the warp nacelles?

  • Lol the Voyager one at the end was hilarious - looked like the ship was about to split in half! And what was the blue ball? Looked like the thing Luke used for lightsabre practice on the Falcon. The best warp effect is TNG's blue nacelle flash and the stretch followed by the white flash.

  • I love q, I wish I were a q...

  • The best warp sequence in any Star Trek movie is, by far, still Star Trek: The Motion Picture!! :)

  • @nswms992000 You must be insane.

  • @MasterMacLeod: Oh, I'm not insane. My answer still stands.

P.S. A close second best warp sequence is from the Enterprise in 2009's Star Trek.

  • @nswms992000 WTF is wrong with you!?

  • @MasterMacLeod: Whatever, man.

  • @nswms992000 How come whatever? Because of that attitude Jar Jar Abrams is slowly killing ST.

  • I like the new effect in Star Trek 2009

  • Looked like the refitted Enterprise (in one of the non movie/ series scene) was capable of doing the "Picard Manuver."

  • Yeah I like STO's combo warp of the lights and stretch the best

  • @4:10

    USS Dauntless

    Quantum Slipstrem Drive.

  • R.I.P. Gene Roddenberry

  • More real jump, less CG jumps.

  • I'll see if I cant find more...

  • @Ballyweg

Awesome video otherwise! Star Trek ftw! Wish we were in the 24th century so much! I would love to see Earth and all the other planets from space.....or possibly even the surface!

  • @GENERAL1002 Tey are all CG :D

  • Nice job. Thanks for making this.

  • I love Voyager!!!! and janeway and 7 of 9!!!

  • They are all fantastic. Except for star trek 5, its like the enterprise turned into a fat person.

  • Why weren't the scenes of The Enterpise travelling at warp in The Wrath of Kahn included here?

  • Voyager's Maximum Warp is the best scene of going to warp I have ever seen in Star Trek.

LOVE watching it over and over again

  • @choirtenor I know! Soo cool! Just taking the hit, rolling, sliding nacelles up and into warp :D Has the word epic written all over it!

  • Comment removed

  • Star Trek II (2:56-3:00) is my favorite

  • 3:43 is my fav

  • 0:45-0:52 best Warp effect ever.

  • its RAY driving the malone college school bus. go on

  • ray ray 3po sucked my rod

  • RAY RAY

  • What is the one at 1:46 called? The one where Capt. Picard orders Warp one and the other things gets destroyed? What movie is it from? Episode?

  • I think it's from from Star Trek: Generations.

  • @Ballyweg It is. That was the Amagosa star going nova in Generations after Soran shot a trilithium missile at that star.

  • @Ballyweg

    what's the one before that?

  • @sameye407 Its From star Trek Generations. Thats a Star Going Nova.

  • @sameye407 Yes it's Star Trek Generations.

  • @sameye407 it is when they are leaving the Amigosa Observatory just as they beam back Data Riker and Worf from ST Generations

  • @sameye407 It is from Generations. After Soren destroys a local star.

  • What movie is the scene at 1:45 from? It looks really good.

  • 2:55 best warp effect ever

  • If Nero's ship, the Narada, can go to warp, so can DS9! We just need warp nacelles for each pylon and a damn good warp core.

  • Agreed.

  • @Korolev61 as long as you can generate a large enough warp bubble, anything can be put into warp speed, so you really wouldn't need to have one on every pylon because technically, the base would not be moving, space around the warp bubble would be moving, while the base was a a stand still. The "movement" of the ships is for effect for the show, just like the sounds in space.

  • @Korolev61 But DS9 was never designed to move more then half impluse. It doesn't have dampers to handle that kind of acceleration. Not to mention that the station is like 50 years old. In season three it was getting sucked into the wormhole and would have been crushed like a bug.

  • WARP 1 ENGAGE!!

  • Kirk @2:40 is brilliant. And the thing I love about warp drive is, the theories behind the whole concept aren't as far fetched as you might think. Einstien said you can't achieve light speed, but what about creating your own pocket of reality around your ship where laws of physics are warped. Scientifically speaking, warp drive is theoretically possible. Maybe one day one of our children could give that command......'Engage Warp Drive' *shivers* :D

  • picard says warp 1 engage so epicly at 1:45

  • @xxjpxxdeluxe What movie is it from?

  • @sameye407 star trek generations, its the seventh star trek movie

  • 2:33 Blender? Awesome job!

  • Credit to Airportchris2.

  • wait why does the voyager have to raise its warp nacelles when it goes to warp?

  • fancy effect?

  • They raise when Voyager charges it's warp field. Basilcy it helps it travel at high warp for longer periods. Apparantly these types of Nacelles don't cause negative natural effects like Sub-space damage or no longer threat inhabited worlds unlike the Nacelles and warp fields on eariler ships.

  • i had an assumption i was something to do with the warp fields, was this something experimental for the voyager or was it standard for all intrepid class ships?

  • The Intrepid class and the Deltla Flyer were the only types of ships to feature these types of Nacelles I believe. The Prometheus class also had retractable/movable Nacelles too but only in it's Multi-assualt mode.

  • Yep, it was standard for all Intrepid-class ships. Although there have only been two; Voyager and Bellerophon (DS9) shown and they have similar registy numbers, so likely built at the same time. But who knows about the rest of the ships in that class?

  • @xxjpxxdeluxe

    They were "environmentally friendly" nacelles

  • I meant the TMP Enterprise shot from 7.35

  • Yes that's one that has been made from jmr72777.

  • I loved that flyby of the Enterprise 1701 (from TMP) nr the end of the video and the stretch thing & sillhouette when she went into warp - that was great, along with the majestic TMP music!

  • Credit to jmr72777. :-)

  • The Enterprise-E is the best ship design ever. This isn't an opinion, this is a fact.

  • agree

  • Agreed - she is lovely.

  • Every say I stare at my Art Asylum Ent-E toy for about 30 minutes.

    I don't have a problem. :P

  • DS9 should go into warp. LMFAO! imagine everyone on board screaming and freaking out!

  • lol

  • Lol that would be something to see, LMAO!!!

  • God, I HATED the warp effect in TMP. It was like this really shitty disco-tunnel thing. Blech.

  • Omg, roflmfao so hard @ disco-tunnel XD This video was hot and this is exactly how the warp function in the new STO game should be. I mean, like actual sequences, not loading screens. 5/5

  • @inuyashaxx the Star Trek 5 warp speed I have to say is the shitties I have ever seen!!!!!

  • @inuyashaxx Which one did you like the most?

  • @inuyashaxx

    Whats TMP?

  • @GrymHood Star trek The motion picture. First movies of the series. 1979 I think.

  • great except not enough Defiant clips there's like only one I love hers the best because she looks like she is really launching into warp.

  • I love voyager for the way the necell's adjust before goin to warp

  • lol what was the last one

  • A shitty attempt of mine to make one with blender. fail :-(

  • the enterprise d looked amazing in generation @ 1:55

  • LOL

  • I think that the Enterprise-A engaging warp speed is the crappiest warp speed of all the star treks put together

  • you should have called it "VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!"

  • v3 is down

  • I know. I'm working on it. Await a working version in the comming days.

  • New Version 3 is out with new Warp jumps. Check it out now!

  • Where did the one at 1:42 come from? I don't recognize it...looks sorta like a

horizontally-squished sovereign with NX nacelles. Sorry in advance if that's a dumb question.

  • It's from the new Star Trek Online Game.

  • not dumb, i was gonig to ask the same Q :) can't wait til i can run ST:Online!

  • The Kirk Special still looks the Coolest!

  • 2:40

    Epic warps.

  • you did two of the same thing but one was just a longer version...

  • Please read the description before posting.

  • you got many form youtube nub

  • read the description, nub

  • The warp flash is supposedly the last vestiges of visible light being left behind the ship from the point of view of the viewer.

  • what i would love to see is red dwarf going to warp , would fit perfectly for episode future echoes

  • Any speculation as to what the flash of light is (like the sonic boom)?

  • the light barrier

  • something extraordinary, that i can't imagine. perhaps a flash.

  • Also, at 0:35, 2:19, 2:35, and 6:45.

  • Right.

  • Would u like the links???

  • No, I know. I took them from you. Do you have any objections?

  • No, as long as I am credited for the clips i pointed out.

  • Done.

  • Thanks.

  • Forgot to add, at 4:41 as well.

  • I see you used one of my clips, the 2nd clip after the First Contact warp clip.

    :D

  • Why do ships that go to warp make that final flash?

  • who cares it looks freakin cool

  • It is the starship breaking through the warp barrier (speed of light).

  • what was that ball at the end of the last warp?

  • The last one was one I tried to make myself, using a very complicated program. I couldn't really figure it out, so everything went wrong. The ball was ment to be the warp flash.

  • what is the one at 2:47 ?

is it from star trek 2?

  • Oh, I'm really not sure. ehm... It could be. Perhaps somebody else knows.

  • No, that's also from The Motion Picture, it's the warp enter scene after Spock fixes the Warp Drive problems.

  • I like the 1:46 scene

  • Yes, that one is really great.

  • @Ballyweg what movie is it from?

  • Which one?

  • The STO one looks best,im trying to make one for bridge commander :p

  • the video game looks like Star Trek Online

  • it is idiot

  • i was merely answering a question, no need to be rude.

  • And you answered it right! It is in fact STO. I can't wait until it is going to come out.

  • What video game is shown in this video?

  • Star Trek Online.

  • I loved the special effects on star trek: The Motion Picture. But they could have made it a little more actiony. More space fights. mabey a few phaser attacks. Something fun.

  • 1:05 is just ridiculously cool.

  • one of my favorite warp jumps ever!

  • "...a dream in every Science-Fiction-Lover's heart..."

    That´s right. Thanx!

  • LOL 4:03

  • Several doubles though (like TNG intro theme)

  • Classic ^_^ (y)

  • 3:44 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • The editing is painfully rough, but this is a great collection of warp effects, thank you!

    4:45

Which ship is that??? I don't recognize it at all... Series? Movie? From the voice it sounds like some behind the scenes special...

  • Yes. i did almost no editing. It's really just a collection.

The ship at 4:45 is a ship from the upcoming StarTrekOnline Game trailer (see my video).

  • It's called the soverign refit I believe

  • Cool, thanks guys :)

  • yesh it certainly looks like a soverign with some work done to it which would make sense seeing as this game is 10 years after the last TNG movie (or is it 25? I'm not sure)

  • STO is set in the year 2409. TNG is set 2370.

  • Ah so I wasn't too far off

  • 5:13

Borg: WTF that ship come from assimilate!!!!

    U.S.S. Duantless: Shit...T.T

  • Yep. Byebye Dauntless.

  • 3:30 was a great effect. For the version u shd add transwarp and the traveller/kosinski warp effect.

  • Ill do.

  • wats the highest speed you could travel thru space realistically?

  • I would think with the right propulsion and "deflector" system you could go up to about 0.9 of light speed.

  • Lol dont bet on it picard

  • i doubt you can ever go through space that quick...there too much debris..that alone will turn the ship into dust. But it is possible to travel at 60 times speed of sound apparently :S

  • Right right i know. From our present point of view, these speeds are out of our range. But who knows what the future would bring?

PS: The debris aren't the main problem. It should be possible to build a "Deflector" which deflects the debris away. Quite realistic. The more difficult would be the creation of a stable "Warp field", which allows to travel faster than light without beeing turned into energy.

  • put a bubble around the ship and move the space around the bubble.

  • yep, that's the siple way of explaining it. :-)

  • thats what the deflector dish does it bloks space dust prom the ship

believe me star trek has found away to break all laws of physics

  • its nice how they make warp 1 look slow

  • Only on TNG, on TOS it is as fast as always. :-)

  • My favorite Warp Speed shots are when they leave an after-image or when the lights are dragged back before closing the distance to the ship, it seems much more realistic.

  • like the enterprise A?

  • Or more like Enterprise NX-01?

  • Yeah, that would be a good example of it too.

  • I hate that...the new movie makes warp look the best. Very similar to the way star wars ships go into hyperspace.
