i really want to be a pilot in the r.a.f just got to get the qualifications:D ive allready got two :) higher maths and higher language just english to get :D
@adamski895RS . i know how you feel , iam 16 im already starting my hours and studying maths and physics , to become an airline pilot what requirements are needed and how do you become one ? i appreciate any comments which might help :)
@stefanof1994 lol good question. I my self have ben taking flying lessons for several months now, and thats the first step: GETING YOUR PRIVOT PILOT LICENCE. After that your gona want to go get your INSRTAMENT RATING. then your gona want to get your MULTI ENGINE RATING. then your gona want to get a COMERCIAL LICENCE. then you start gaining hours, (the major airlines require over 2000 hours. finaly you can apply for them and hopfully land a job as a copilot. then you work up to capton
@TheRocketman360 ; yes i want to get my private pilots licence before next year hopefully , and then got to a university to study engenering or areodynamics. right sounds like alot of licences but it will hopefully work out because i dont know what else i want to do really. thank you for the advice i suppose you want to become an airline pilot as well ?
@stefanof1994 Well you need a minimum of GCSE's In Maths, English and Physics. then you can rent a plane or join the air cadets to gain around 40 hours flying to before you can apply for you PPL (Private Pilots License) after that you probably should find an Aviation academy like Oxford or Bournemouth. Its usually a 2 year course to get your ATPL which enables you to apply as the position as an F/O for airlines. The biggest problem is the Finance. The course I'm doing is over £75k, Start saving!
@DAYDAYGOON45 to get a job at an airport its self i honestly dont know, i assume that most major airports have a web sight in which you can probly find an employment sec. sory im not of much help

Your welcome Anthony and thank you for your well wishes for my path to the Airliners =) I take it you are a pilot too? where in America do you live? If you ever want to talk about airscraft and aviation let me know. Hope you have a great day. Cheers... Rodney

How hard is it to become a pilot for a relatively smart person?
How do they get paid (per flight/per year etc)
How much do they get paid with the question a above in mind (EX. 10k every flight)
Hows the job emotional wise? (fun/stressful/cant see family)
I was thinking about becoming a pilot and i wanna be sure its for me =)
