@Gridiron992 Because I did this all the time back in the day. Slowbro basically shut him down with Amnesia, Surf, Rest, and Thunder Wave. He's paralyzed (slower than Slowbro), Amnesia raises Slowbros special (which was both defense and attack), and Surf was a STAB attack with no resistances. Rest was just there in case his HP got too low, which they shouldn't.
This battle was such a pain... It took forever to beat him with rentals T.T

This was great until you learned how to counter Mewtwo.
A 6 on 1 with a Super Pokemon is a LOT less intense when you hard-counter him.
It becomes less "OH GOD I'M BARELY HOLDING HIM OFF" to "Hm. Slowbro has him paralyzed, pumped his special to max, and is only at 70% health."
