Cha Seung Won is pretty incredible as an actor, for certain. Truth be told, I like him even better in The City Hall, but I guess that's a matter of taste.
All respect to big Mama Soul, but where can a guy find the instrumentals from the show? I'm especially interested in the sad, melancholy acoustic guitar piece they used for so many of Pil-Ju's & Ae-Jung's moments together. Like their relationship, it was beautiful, sad, very brief, and very memorable. I really must find it.
@CarlGorn Storywise, I liked City Hall even more. I believe it was more romantic. He and KSA had great chemistry. But either way, Cha Seung Won acted well in both dramas. :))
@lga935898 Agreed about the chemistry. Here's hoping Seung-Won-shi chooses to do more romantic comedies in the future. Now, if only the Hong sisters would write a script where he's being fought over by 2 sisters - played by Kim Sun-Ah & Gong Hyo-Jin - then we'd have the next level of Kdrama fun. Maybe bring in Choi Gang-Hee & Yoon Eun-Hye as HIS sisters...
@CarlGorn Ha ha ha. That would be fun. I wonder what's the next project of the Hong Sisters? I recently finished watching Scent of a Woman. I am saying that it was also one of the best dramas of 2011 or probably of all time. I am placing Scent... in my top 10. I have never seen the most erotic tango scene in my life until this drama. Ha ha ha. LDWook is soo sexy here. I guess I am in love with Korean men. I can't get enough of them.
@lga935898 Scent Of A Woman was incredible. I've actually picked Kim Hye-Ok as "Best Mom" for her portrayal of Yeon-Jae's mom. The scene where Yeon-Jae tells her she has cancer is the most instantly haunting, heart-breaking, entirely believable freak-out I can recall. If she doesn't win somebody's Best Supporting Actress award, there's no justice left in the world. I'm still amazed by how such a tear-jerker of a series managed to pull of such a positive ending.
I will really miss Dok Go JIn. He's hilarious, sweet and gentle even though he's overly conceited. Greatest Love thank you for making me laugh and cry. I will also miss Yoon Pil Joo, the gentleman. soft-spoken doctor. I loved these two male characters. I believe both were a good catch. It is just that there's only one Ae Jung and she chose the one who trully resides in her heart and they make a great couple. They compliment each other. I am glad she chose him too.
