Yeah its pretty obvious stuff dude. you need to key out the channel that you want to be transparent, you gotta use blue or green. skin tone doesnt really have those colour elements, unless you're kermit or one of those avatar dudes. it aint a mystery, and if you dont really understand why your face is also transparent, well, you may need to go away and learn stuff before putting a tutorial up. also, sony vegas pro 10 IS THE BEST HOME EDITOR IN THE WORLD. FACT. Premiere can kiss my ass!

This is so dumb, first of all you need a green or blue screen, if you use a background color close to your skin color it will blend in with you, and if you click edit then you can tweak it to look better, but the most important thing is that you have to have the right lighting, if the screen isn't all lighted evenly, your done, it just takes experience, this program is great actually for starters, don't criticize the program just bc your to dumb to figure it out, you just have to have patience

two tips:

-use a blue or green screen (only $20 online) so it doesn't remove you face

-use chroma key, blue screen key, or green screen key for better results

(video merge is for videos that are prekeyed and have a (nearly) solid background

After You Apply The effect you should click on edit effects then tweak up the settings and itll look fine

it is just like croma screen the background was the same or close to your skin you need a green or blue background

u need to use a green or blue screen because the colour is so different to your skin colour, that's the only way you'll get it to work well + it needs to be evenly lit :D

green screens are used because green is the farthest colour from our skin colour, as well as the blue screen

Do you know how to make it so there are no black borders on top and bottom of the video when it is uploaded? It drives me crazy and I can't seem to find a way for the video to be uploaded the way I want.

I downloaded the free trial and they didn't even let me use everything...i have no idea if this is worth it and i hate it...i absolutely HATE this program b/c it took forever to download and then everytime i tried to do anything cool it said i had to be a gold member or plus member to do that...

It's a good program, in fact GREAT! But I recommend getting 7 instead because 8 crashes on most computers.

@BrentBTV I own it. Yes this software is expensive, however not unfairly priced. Adobe Premier Elements is a great editing system that opens up many options, to name a few: chroma keying^, video merging, level balance, free clips and animation, DVD menus, and a whole lot more. The fact is, you get what you pay for. If your not willing to sacrifice the $90, then your stuck with the low quality standards of movie maker or other cheaper programs.
