im asian (philippines) and i have natural double eye lids, big round eyes, pointed nose and small face. when im still young my playmates and classmates tease me coz of my big eyes and small face. they said im look like an anime. :( it becomes my insecurity. but now i realize that having big round eyes and small face is a gift.. :)

@sunalleygang143 i had monolids till i was 12-13 years old. for some odd reason my eye lids changed. now i have a semi-lid xD its like theres a lid but it folds in. its hard to explain D; if i open my eyes wide you see the crease but normally you cant see my lids. therefore making the illussion that im still a monolid kid. x)
I honestly think people really do hate you just because the way you look. It's a sad but true... My friend was very confident and people were still calling her names. The only difference between her and me is that she's confident enough to not care about the haters while I was very sensitive and cared too much about what others think of me.
The American accent is a bit grating. You guys actually like the way her Euro-eyes look? I think a correction in diction would make her far more appealing than any cosmetic surgery. The real question is, why does it matter so much to people how appealing they are to total strangers?

@Jaywalkerforever they get it because it makes your eyes look bigger, and could be a medical condition, like your eyelid skin could sag and that is exretmly uncomfertable, or the eyelashes could stick inside of your eye which could cause infections. so therews actaully alot of reasons :)

@kimberleybeeTV No, a lot of asians have the bags of fat under their eyes naturally (as do some Caucasians). It forms because the muscle underneath the eyes is very thick, creating the eyebags called aegyo-sal in Korean. They're actually very desired, because it makes the eyes seem larger than they are and creates a youthful appearance. (However, some older people DO actually get fat injected to get aegyo-sal to look younger since they go away with age. Though I'm 99% sure hers are natural)
As for those who claim that I want to look "white", I AM STRONGLY DENYING THIS FACT.. Just because I wear contact lens (food for thought, which Caucasian have neon green eyes?) and dye my hair a lighter shade does not mean I want to look "white"...if it does, than that would mean that a "white" person with black hair meant that they wanted to look Asian? The American accent is a bit grating. You guys actually like the way her Euro-eyes look? I think a correction in diction would make her far more appealing than any cosmetic surgery. The real question is, why does it matter so much to people how appealing they are to total strangers?
I thought it was cool however that lovechi7 made this video. Wish she could have shown before & after pics/footage, well maybe she did, I skipped through the vid a lot.

@Jaywalkerforever they get it because it makes your eyes look bigger, and could be a medical condition, like your eyelid skin could sag and that is exretmly uncomfertable, or the eyelashes could stick inside of your eye which could cause infections. so therews actaully alot of reasons :)

Perhaps its a gene? maybe certain nationalities have a larger tendency to have double eyelids(considering genes/gene pool) I have no idea where eyelids exist in terms of genetic makeup...but it could explain why some of us have it and some don't

if anything, this video is pretty tastefully done. it emphasizes on how confidence is more important than physical beauty and that surgery shouldn't be taken so lightly. if somebody wants to look as good on the outside as they feel on the inside, then who are you to say they can't? it's their decision. all you people who are attacking her, and some of you aren't even paying attention to the video, find something else to watch!

@kimberleybeeTV No, a lot of asians have the bags of fat under their eyes naturally (as do some Caucasians). It forms because the muscle underneath the eyes is very thick, creating the eyebags called aegyo-sal in Korean. They're actually very desired, because it makes the eyes seem larger than they are and creates a youthful appearance. (However, some older people DO actually get fat injected to get aegyo-sal to look younger since they go away with age. Though I'm 99% sure hers are natural)

Just because I wear contact lens (food for thought, which Caucasian have neon green eyes?) and dye my hair a lighter shade does not mean I want to look "white"...if it does, than that would mean that a "white" person with black hair meant that they wanted to look Asian?
