  • I overkilled this book when I was a kid....

    I also infamously wrote a book report in 3rd grade on this and it was about 3 times longer than the book itself...

  • The best part was when you all started coughing, gagging, and sneezing.

  • I remember reading Jack's recursive story as he told it to the giant until he fell asleep. Once upon a time there was a giant. The Giant squeezed Jack and said, 'Tell me a better story or I'll grind your bones to make my bread. When your story is finished I will grind your bones to make my bread, anyway, Ha ha'. Jack thought, 'He'll kill me if I do, he'll kill me if I don't.' There's only one way to get out. Jack cleared his throat and began his story. Once upon a time there was a giant..." <3

  • you start getting tongue tied with some of them....how funny. I loved the book.

  • awww there was the ending out and then near the front with the giant that was sying his storying i think and then the princess and the bowling ball and i think more too :( aweel your narrating was funny XD

  • The pink panther tune is in the part where the stinky cheese man meets the fox  XD

  • In the original book, both the chicken and the stinkycheese man were eaten.XD

  • im pretty sure there is a bit at the end where a giant eats said chicken in the bread she made... come to think of it i think the there where a few parts skipped involving slightly more graphic things...

  • The author came to my school back when i was in 2nd grade... I remember the story he told of getting the book published how some publishers like the story but didnt like the art work and vice versa... He was trying to teach us determination.

  • Im turning this into my own animation. I loved this book when i was young. Bought it in the states and lost it growing up. So happy I can still but it! I remember always chanting 'blah blah blah' i thought its blurb was the most interesting :S
