I remember reading Jack's recursive story as he told it to the giant until he fell asleep. Once upon a time there was a giant. The Giant squeezed Jack and said, 'Tell me a better story or I'll grind your bones to make my bread. When your story is finished I will grind your bones to make my bread, anyway, Ha ha'. Jack thought, 'He'll kill me if I do, he'll kill me if I don't.' There's only one way to get out. Jack cleared his throat and began his story. Once upon a time there was a giant..." <3

awww there was the ending out and then near the front with the giant that was sying his storying i think and then the princess and the bowling ball and i think more too :( aweel your narrating was funny XD

The author came to my school back when i was in 2nd grade... I remember the story he told of getting the book published how some publishers like the story but didnt like the art work and vice versa... He was trying to teach us determination.
