This is a nice version, but I miss the country/garage rock band vibe that it seems like only Neil Young can get away with.  This version pretty much drops any of that countryish vibe which I understand as it's hard to meld the two styles together...hence me saying that Neil seems the only one who can really make it work successfully.

I don't understand all the negativity with this cover considering the pixies have been covering this song for over 20 years. Check out 'The Bridge - a tribute to Neil Young from 1989. It was wicked cover then, and still is!

I'm a HUGE neil Fan...But i gotta tell ya...HE would LOVE this....raw as it is, the last chorus alone (2:55 on) Makes it all worth it....Overdone as usual

But this version lacks what every cover of any song of Neil Young lacks-

Neil Young.

I love the original on Decade and on Fillmore East, there's no comparison to Bixies'.

Their version is sufficiently different (some would say "better") to stand up on it's own. This is a great live cover.

I prefer this to the original. That's just my taste. You can't slate me because of my taste, can you?
