I was lucky enough to see one of these beautiful creatures when i was 13 years old. I found it near a porch light in a very well forested part of Wiscasset, Maine. I didn't realize the luck that I had just seeing one of these. It was really beautiful.
upclose it's like some fantasy creature! also, these things don't eat (or have mouths) and they only live one week, sadly. they just mate and die. amazing creatures though
