Letterman was, is, and always will be the king of late night television talk shows as far as i am concerned. In terms of longevity, success, consistency and genuine entertainment value, Letterman is number 1. And when you add what he has been through, in terms of health, how could you say otherwise.
When David Letterman returned to the Late Show on February 21, 2000, Alan Kalter announces to David Letterman, "Blue Cross Blue Sheild's Man of the Year".
I realized I had calcified arteries--pain after chest exercise. I knew no water walker & wanted no invasive surgery. So I got my predictable miracle by using citric acid (source--lemons) to dissolve arterial calcium. Outcome = perfect resolution in brief time (2 months). Caution--don't leave lemon juice even diluted in H2O on teeth it WILL remove enamel. Lemon treatment WORKS and could cost medical establishment $300 billion + James Baker PILGRIMS SOCIETY what do you think about that??
I think that there is no scientific evidence for what you're saying in any way. If you think the acidity of the lemon juice will remove the Calcium, you would be advised to know that your blood has a natural buffer system that prevents it from changing in acidity. Science is funny like that, needing proof and reasonable explanation.
MD's won't present any evidence for something that takes funds away. Plenty of people report kidney stone (calcium) dissolution after using lemons, and the kidneys do filter the blood. Japanese researchers have reported circulatory benefit of lemon juice. You're saying the chemical composition of the blood can't be beneficially altered, and that's moron's rubbish. They did studies on pomegranate juice clearing carotid arteries. DISREGARD the naysayers they're covering for medical greed.
does anyone have the clip of John Stewart giving Dave a "heart" in a shoe box? And Dave turned it down so John ran back stage and tried to put the heart back in a "dead" Tony Randall? Please post it if you do! :D
@hgates101 Totally!!! Great host, comedian, writer, etc. His show is so off the wall and creative, it's not a surprise Dave is the king. Glad he survived the heart surgery. I've read if relatives in your family have heart problems you might have the same like Dave's father did. I'm just happy to see Dave still doing this show, he's great.
Dave is the man....quintuple bypass, shingles....you name it...the man kicks it's ass and comes back stronger than ever....he'll live forever and be telling jokes when we're all dead and rotting.
He looks so much more healthier now. Here he looks gaunt. It is obvious to tell that Heart Surgery really took alot out of him. I think the birth of his son in 2003 made him a happier man. He seems more complete now I see it whenever I watch the show. David Letterman is the best host as far as Late Night T.V goes.
I remember this episode...I laughed so hard. I was amazed at how he sprang back could make fun of himself. I will never forget the joke about the decaf coffee...it was fun to see it on here again.
I've heard some people say that Letterman started to tone down his style after the heart surgery

Listen Dumbass, I was merely quoting what Seinfeld said in this bit.
As for your brilliant "No, that'd be you." exactly what elementary school do you go to? That was totally lame.
curb1510 2 years ago
I didn't go to school, I am glad you figured it out yourself. Damn you're smart.
