Today, while waiting for step-off at a parade, a flute player found a video of Suicide Trombones. She showed it to our band director. He got our trombone section together and organized this. It was actually very well done. And unbelievable that we got to witness something like this in person. :D We're only in high school..

@wail13 No shit sherlock, it's a much smaller and lighter instrument. Plus, a trumpet wouldn't even come close to the person next to you when you swung around since it's so short. Therefore, much much much less impressive.

@Bingabuffalo I play both trombone and trumpet, and believe me, trumpet is a lot lighter and easier to handle. It's a lot shorter, and it is still lighter significantly lighter than most trombones. Plus, for suicides the length makes a HUGE difference.
