i know what it feels like i had lost a dog in2007 and he waz my life time dog then he laed down and so we thought something waz wrong so we found out that he waz dieng so we put him down the day after and to think that i had only had him for 7 years and when we found out he was dieng i had put him in my bed and ididnt ket him move and we just lade there till it was time to take him to the vet and put him down i cryed for a whole 2weeks i could not get it out of my mind!

He was a mixed breed of German Shepherd and Rot Riler, He Protected me and my sister where ever we went :) But when Halloween Came around, the cops were shooting dogs who werent Chained up so dogs wouldnt go after kids. So My Dog Scrawny, wasnt chained up, so those Cops Shot Him :'( He was 30 years in Dog Years. I miss him soooo Much. Im sorry for ur dog, Rest In Paradise <3

I feel your pain. I lost both of my dogs - one right after the other - in 2008. I now have Rocky, and he's a little trooper. He's both a service dog - he's saved my life a few times already, and I've had him less than 2 years - but also is the best companion anyone could ever ask for. Be comforted in the fact that you gave her the very best which someone possibly could, after some subhuman trash abandoned her like that. Nice tribute - and the perfect song for it, too. Awesome...

i feel the same way my cat died 2 monthes ago and then my 13 week old kitten ate a rat with pioson in it and the cat ate the poison and it died AND IM ONLY 12 i miss her so much i had both of them since they were born and the cat that died 2 months ago was hit by a car and still lived but she died because she got locked in a cabnet and no one know she was there and she was there for 3 days and i found her and she was a lil still alive but as i held her she died within minutes
no it's not the same my old german shepherd was 18 when i had to put her down 4 years ago and i got another one and she's 2 years old and i miss my old one like crazy my new one won't ever replace her and i love my new one just as much if anything happened to her it would kill me but no other dog replaces the other

sadly my dog rani died just 3 days ago on the 3rd of june. we are all terribly sad and will never forget her - the pain will never go away. she died age 17 1/2 years old. at least she died in her sleep, in her own home next to all those that love her, which is the best you can hope for as far as dogs go. i will never forget her, she was my best friend xxxx

that is so sad! i feel your pain...i have lived over half my life without the dog that was there when i was born...it was so sad! i was 6 when she died and my mom told me that when i was a baby she wouldnt let anyone touch me..i still cry at her memory. i can only imagine how hard it is for you and your family. but we know they are happy, right.
she kind of look like me old dog Ginger. We got ginger when she was 2, she had been abused for 2 years but luckily we got her before she could get seriously hurt. we had her until she was 12 years old, she dies of cancer as well.

I just lost my dog, we understood eachother perfectly, we always knew how eachother were feling! She gave me the best Chritmas ever beacuse she stayed for one more day! She was always happy though, even at the last second, andshe taught me how to love! and always to find the best in people and animals! Now my poor cat feels empty and so do i! i dont remember life without her!
that is so sad to hear. I just got a pound puppy gsd mix and when its her turn to go "home", I don't know what I'm gonna do. It ripped my family apart almost when we had to put my cat down in '99 and still to this day we get depressed if we talk about him.

This video resonates with me so much. I too had a German Shepherd named Simba. We bought him in 1996, then we moved and had to leave him with friends because we were incapable of taking him with us in 2002. We lost contact with them several years back and I dont know if he is still alive. It was such a surprise to see a video of someones pet with same name and breed as my own dog. thanks mscop31, a year before she passed i had asked my daughter who is 15 now if she ever remembered not having simba lou and she said no. simba had 2 b @ the vets @ 8:30am so i just took her 2 the bus stop w/us that morning and all the kids gave her a big hug & kiss b4 they got out of the van, the first thing they asked me that afternoon when they got home was how is simba? is she home? ill never forget that day for the rest of my life, i walked them down to simbas tree and told them
i still love watching this video once in a while when im feeling upset, it helps :), this makes me cry, i couldnt imagine my dogs gone :(, but my aunts dog just got put down from old age, she could no longer get up :( but she reminded me of your dog, just she was more black than simba, her name was tasha, she was my best friend throughout my hole childhood i think they are all looking down on us from doggy heaven :)

Thank You BoscoFaith, Her sibling was adopted the next day, I had to go back and check. I am so glad that the lord seen that we was there to find them, the vet said at the shelter that just one more day on that mountain is all it would have took for them. Really cool tho ya have schnauzer named Simba, last summer i was talking with someone and they had a boxer named Simba, its not a name u hear much of anymore.
Reminds me of my gsd scout. He gets sick alot and only 7. Very touching and I understand how it hurts but just know that's not the last of Simba as you will see her again. Keep care now.

I just lost my dog, we understood eachother perfectly, we always knew how eachother were feling! She gave me the best Chritmas ever beacuse she stayed for one more day! She was always happy though, even at the last second, andshe taught me how to love! and always to find the best in people and animals! Now my poor cat feels empty and so do i! i dont remember life without her!

that is so sad to hear. I just got a pound puppy gsd mix and when its her turn to go "home", I don't know what I'm gonna do. It ripped my family apart almost when we had to put my cat down in '99 and still to this day we get depressed if we talk about him.

This video resonates with me so much. I too had a German Shepherd named Simba. We bought him in 1996, then we moved and had to leave him with friends because we were incapable of taking him with us in 2002. We lost contact with them several years back and I dont know if he is still alive. It was such a surprise to see a video of someones pet with same name and breed as my own dog. Thank you for this video, in a lot of ways it brings closure for me, for I know I may never see him again. Thank you

Dont be sorry at all, I like when i get to feel emotional about stuff like that, because some videos are just boring, but this is of the best and sadest videos i have ever seen:) its nice to know how much someone could love a pet, it defently shows with u because just a video of your dog shows how much u loved her, u did a great job, and please dont be sorry :)

You know its hard to explain to someone who isnt an animal lover how attached you can become and how they truly are a member of the family, and its amazing how protective they are of thier family as well!! I understand how you feel

thanks mscop31, a year before she passed i had asked my daughter who is 15 now if she ever remembered not having simba lou and she said no. simba had 2 b @ the vets @ 8:30am so i just took her 2 the bus stop w/us that morning and all the kids gave her a big hug & kiss b4 they got out of the van, the first thing they asked me that afternoon when they got home was how is simba? is she home? ill never forget that day for the rest of my life, i walked them down to simbas tree and told them

i still love watching this video once in a while when im feeling upset, it helps :), this makes me cry, i couldnt imagine my dogs gone :(, but my aunts dog just got put down from old age, she could no longer get up :( but she reminded me of your dog, just she was more black than simba, her name was tasha, she was my best friend throughout my hole childhood i think they are all looking down on us from doggy heaven :)

sorry to reply so late Koda4EVER, im sorry to hear about Tasha. how old was she? Simba would have been 15 this month, i still miss her so much and still cry often. its hard to believe its gonna be 2 years the 30th of April. still seems like yesterday to me.

tasha had just turned 14 :( she died 2 days after her birthday, i miss her deeply, she was my best friend throught my childhood, its hard to believe there gone, tasha always will have a big space in my heart as simba will always have a space in yours, ill be praying for her and your family on the 30, i think you did a tremendous job taking and looking after simba when she was here, now its her turn to look out for you. you saved her life, and she changed yours

i used to have a GS named looger i went out looking gor him i couldn't find him then i looked in the dog house he was laying there still no breatch when i touched him i cried for 3 hours i held him close to me

wow this videos deep, im only a teenager but i can still tell how this must of affected you. i've always wanted a german shephard but my parents work too much and i have school so i can't leave it home alone for some days. This shows how dogs truly are mans best friend, i feel bad and it wasn't even my dog

Thanks Jammar22.. I feel blessed to have had the chance to share my life with such a wonderful animal. It's still so strange not having her here with us, My kids are 17,15,10,9 & 7 and I asked them one day if they ever remember not having Simba Lou and they all said no.

I have 2 Jack Russell Terrier now. And I can´t imagine loosing them one day, cuz I saw so many dogs that my family had...gone...it was always 2 much for me. Thank You BoscoFaith, Her sibling was adopted the next day, I had to go back and check. I am so glad that the lord seen that we was there to find them, the vet said at the shelter that just one more day on that mountain is all it would have took for them. I am blessed to have known such love in my life, not everyone has that chance. Thanks for the comment BoscoFaith

i love animalys im going be a vet to im a boy thought maybe all work at the zoo i got a new dog her name is abye she is a shihtzu i would feel terbile if she died she was in a cage all by herself whaen the athers where together all pets have a speciale place in are heat even my cat and hamsters i loved them all

I am so sorry. This video made me cry. It brings back memories of my old GSD, Jake. He was put down from sever HD.
Simba was a lovely dog! I actually have a Miniature Schnauzer named Simba right now. :)

Reminds me of my gsd scout. He gets sick alot and only 7. Very touching and I understand how it hurts but just know that's not the last of Simba as you will see her again. Keep care now.
