My band and I got to open for Mr. Haggard.... He is a true showman and an even nicer person...No one like the Hag...he is the representation of what TRUE country is all about... I am not sure why they are calling the stuff Nashville is putting out Country.... I mean some stuff is good... of course there's the Zach Brown band...Totally awesome... Then you get CRAP like Taylor Swift... I am sure she is a nice person but her music is NOT country.. along with a multitude of others.
