Canada has one of the worst immigration systems in the world. I am Canadian. We are NOT welcoming to anyone, it takes years to immigrate, and there is no excuse for it. In this modern age with modern technology, processing should take weeks, not months or years, and you should be able to contest rejections, and speak to immigration officers/judges in person. I am very ashamed.

Some of my best memories are from visiting Israel and Palestine (Bethlehem)... and one of my best friends is in Bethlehem (an Arab Christian). Generally speaking, I found both Arabs and Jews to be very hospitable and kind.
