@SixtySeventh God is not obsessed with sex. You want to look at him as obsessed with sex, which let you see these signs more clearly than other, a basic thing about the human mind.
And the reason why it is mentioned as often in OT is because it is a problem for all humans. Sex is almost the only word you can say in a crowded place and everyone will listen.
And seen from the Christian part of view, sex is to get children.

As i have heard from a pastor, the reason why sex is to be waited till after marriage is because you give a part of yourself away, and if you break up you will lose it and never get it back.

@lewa30 You should teach your children to be skeptical, to always question and evaluate the right answer. To decide for themselves what they believe in. To warn them that there are a lot of people out there who think and say they have the right answer.
You should teach your kids to question authority, think for themselves and to be extremely careful of what they believe. That is my method. Not shove the bible into their innocent heads.
