Yes indeed! Far too many people read something then get it in their heads that they need to kill a bunch of people. At the end of the day though, it really doesn't matter what they read because they've just gone and killed a bunch of people indiscriminately. Be it the Bible, Quran or even a manifesto of some sorts they all get ta bunch of nut jubs sometime or latter. You can hate Islam all you want. You can be a bigot all you want. It doesn't change the fact that not Muslims are not terrorists. Yes some parts are evil, but Sharia is a collection of religious commandments and cultural laws many of which are not pertinent today. (like Biblical law of Stoning adulterers). The honest answer is that Islam really is a totalitarian military political ideology with religious and spiritual components. With the exception of Indonesia/Malaysia, all propagation of Islam has been thru a combination of Jihad to politically control and area and Sharia to pressure people into conversion. It is the exact same method used by Marxists and the Spanish Christians who adopted Islamic methods to spread Catholicism with a gun.

To pretend that violent Jihad is not part of mainstream Islam is to be deluded. True it is allowed only under certain circumstances but the rules are easily interpreted to convert or kill unbelievers in any situation. It is late and I am tired, I also do not want to start a debate as it always is a circular argument that goes nowhere with devout Muslims. I will be giving a presentation to FreeMasons on Sharia finance later this month. They are starting to wake up as well.

@574882 I never said Christianity isn't violent just that Islam is doctrinally and in reality more violent than any other religion. To me me you Mohammedans simply ignore the things which you do not like in Islam. What do you call sex with slaves, temporary marriages etc. I look at Islam from a historical and factual reference and not as a blind follower who has "submitted" to a god and cannot even question their beliefs. One more thing, there has never been a country in all history called Palestine. It is simple a region west of the Jordan River which includes parts of Syria, Lebanon, Israel,Jordan and the Sinai. No one even called themselves a Palestinian until Israel was resurrected. Even the King of Jordan admits that Jordan is the historical "Palestine". Well considering Israel considers itself a Jewish state and is defined so in it's basic laws I'd say that actually is similar. And reading the old testament actually requires you to cut of a womans for certain acts, or stone people. My father raised me as a reformed Jew because he dislikes orthodox Jews since he finds many of their practices somewhat barbaric. Such as Levirate marriage, shatnez, and so on.
