The US knew that any bomb even remotely this big would by impractical and not realistic in real life terms.

its a huge fuel-air bomb that uses ethylene dioxide and aluminum nano-particles as the fuel and atmospheric oxygen as the oxidizer, first a small charge goes off dispersing the fuel into the air so it can evenly mix with the oxygen then another charge goes off setting off the main reaction, all of this happens within a few milliseconds and results in a more energetic explosion than you could achieve with the same weight in conventional explosives, think oxy acteylene trashbag bombs, same thing.

not quite, nuclear bombs use a nuclear fission or, in the case of a hydrogen bomb, a fusion reaction, this bomb uses simple oxidation the same kind of explosion found in gunpowder explosives. furthermore this bomb doesnt have anywhere close to the yield of a nuclear device the smallest of which measure in yields of thousands of tonnes rather than the measly 44 tonnes this bomb produces, which is why this video reporter has no effing idea of what shes saying, the blast radius is only 300 meters.

No, it's 7.8 tonnes of really fast burning gas and aluminum powder that explodes with the same amount of force as 44 tonnes of TNT would. whenever you measure forces of explosions like this, they always express it in terms of tonnes of TNT, for instance they measured the explosive force of the Fatman bomb the U.S. dropped on Nagasaki to be about the same as 22,000 tonnes of TNT

thats not the point, nobody military reall ycares about the enviroment, its only not nclear so like stated, using it would not be restricted by any agreement or restricitons to weapon use like nuclear, and if in case it uses it against anotehr military nuclear capable country, they wont be able to use their nuclear WMDs against russia because russia didnt use nuclear.

South Korea and Japan would be more or less allied with the US. But Japan since WWII hasn't been allowed to have an armed force intended for miltary actons. They have the JSDF (Japan Self Defence Force) To protect their county in case of an attack. But they can not join in any conflict due to the treaty signed with the US after the end of WWII.
