  • Is this another zionist attempt to blacken a great singer?

Are we only allowed to listen to Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga?

  • @CatchingMoonlight Alfred Haase could have requested knowledge about Synni. Fridas family says they tried for years and years finding him, most likely correct address, but no answers. If it was a 'fling' as many soldiers do, I'd understand. Most possibly it was. His wife must have been hurt upon hearing this history in 1977. I trust Anni-Frid Lyngstads intuition. Alfred would never have left his wife to move to northern Norway in post-war 1945. Soldiers and sailors never return.

  • Hehe, true that she is all you say -except the Princess title :D -Cute as it may seem, a 'Fürstin' is a princess in english, but not as having anything to do with royal blood. Married for a few years does not justice to keep even a small title like that in Switzerland. Her late husband has children who may inherit a sort of a title, but Fridas son does not. I guess everyone feels she IS a Princess whatever is being said, also in my understanding. I admire her greatly. Alfred I do not believe

  • @CatchingMoonlight Fridas aunt once said Alfred never answered Synnis letters after he left Narvik in February 1945, and thus they believed he was dead. Frida broke the contact with her father many years back, revealig she did not trust his story anymore. Obviously she has a feeling he knew about Synni being pregnant, but never answered. He was, after all married with two children, and it was 1945. Sad love story indeed, and a sad ending for Frida. Must bean odd situation for Alfreds children.

  • Fridas father was a german soldier stationed in North Norway; he was not a nazi (there IS a difference: try reading history). He was, however, married and had children. Synni Lyngstad was a teenager from a small mining town. They had an affair, and it is nobodys business how and why and who's to blame. Alfred left the country, the 6 months after the War ended, November 15th 1945, Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad was born. Everyone in Narvik knew who the father was, and thus Synni and Frida had to move.

  • This video is the greatest bullshit, i've ever seen. ABBA is the greatest and i give a shit on the jewish channel.

  • As someone who has apparently got a similar story in their past, i find this very offensive and unneasary to focus on something that happened before she was even born!

  • Who the fuck cares? Did Frida ask to be born? This is fucking total bullshit. More fucking filthy jew propaganda.

  • I have nbot the faintest sympathy for Heinrich Himmler. Sixty years after the second world war it may be time to distinguish thruth from myth, and history from propaganda. The word Nazi is a diminutive of National socialist as the word Sozi is a diminutive for socialist. Even in Hitler's Germany, nobody called himself a Nazi. So drop the myth and come back to reality !

  • The explantion still accredits the myth of Lebensborn. There was never a scheme from SS leader Heinrich Himmler to repopulate the world with Aryan kids that was deelopped properly. It used to be a trick to allow women in occupied countries to give birth to their illegitimate kids from German soldiers without any scandals at home ! 60 years after the end of war, people think they are clever by continuing spreading lies and propaganda of the third Reich (Empire).

  • @Joachimlefranc THE LEBENSHORN PROGRAM WAS AND IS WELL DOCUMENTED, BY CREDIBLE PEOPLE IN MANY COUNTRIES. ANYONE WHO DEFENDS HIMMLER AND THE THIRD REICH IS OBVIOUSLY A NAZI, A NAZI SYMPATHIZER, OR JUST A PLAIN KOOK.

    Frida Forever. A true sweetheart.

  • Anni-Frid's father was not a nazi!!! He was a german Wehrmacht soldier

who was stationed during the occupation in Norway

  • What utter lying scumbag put this together? Facts are the father was not a Nazi officer, but a Wehrmacht soldier stationed in Norway. Nothing to do with the Lebensborn project. Frida's mother died aged two. If the Jewish Channel wants to garner any sympathy for their own people, perhaps they should start by showing a little sympathy towards native European victims of the war and desist from twisted and slanderous misreporting. We love you Frida.

  • Correction, Lyngstad is a Norwegian name, her mother was a Norwegian farm girl, age early 20's, in a small village near Narvik. She died when Frida was 2 years old.

  • The narrator at 0:23 emphasizes Lyngstads name with a German accent and pronunciation, even though it is a Swedish name, that of her mother. It is just one more attempt of this program to try and slander her as a Jew hating German nazi even though that poor woman has never said or behaved in any way offensive to Jews, ever. She has had a hard life and found success through luck, talent and work.

I certainly see why so many people are suspicious of the Jews, after watching this program.....

  • The only "HATE" around these pages is the Jewish Channel's hate against an innocent child of an ordinary German soldier and a Norwegian mother in a German occupied Scandinavian country.

It is a big story for them because currently Mamma Mia is a big story. And 30 years ago Abba was big story. In between those times, it would NOT have been a big story.

Maybe the Jewish Channel should write on the Jewish Peoples contribution to the war effort to defeat the Nazi's. I'd like to hear it.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow so much ranting here because the jewish Channel actually exposed something. Why all the rhetoric? Many Jews like myself have moved on from the haters in this world and I certainly suffered as I never got to have grand parents because of this. How "disgraceful" using one of your bloggers terms are all of the haters here who seem to suffer everytime your guilt is thrown in your faces. You can keep on hating but as long as you keep away from me you can hate till you go to your graves.

  • @74era I do not see any hating here. No-one in the last few comments has said anything negative about the Jewish people. Apparently you cannot tell the difference between criticizing a journalistic organization and criticizing a people.

I see people who think Abba and its members gave this world a lot real, real, good and I see a journalistic organization trying to exploit a vague and tenuous connection for ratings purposes, or inciting hatred against an individual of that group.

  • @74era I also wonder why some Jewish people think anyone remotely connected to the Germany of 1933-1945 is a Nazi responsible for the genocide against the Jewish people. Albert Einstein was a German, until he fled, and so were lots of others...does this make them "Nazis"? And there were lots of Germans who did not participate in or support the Genocide, does that make them "Nazis" too?

I presume you are historically knowledgeable enough to know the Nazis were highly feared within Germany.

  • @74era And last but not least, yes, some Abba fans stick up for their group, loud and clear, because we think it is a good thing. Unlike the rock groups MegaDeath, Black Sabbath, or the Sex Pistols. And as far as ranting, as you call it, the British, American, Australian, Canadian people were ranted at by their Leaders and Governments in WW2 to defeat the Nazis. Good thing they were, or else the Nazis would have won that war.......

So ranting, as you call it, can be a good thing.

  • @74era Exposed? Its garbage from start to finish. Fact 1) Norway courageously resisted the Nazis. Did your people? Fact 2) Frida's father was not a Nazi officer. He was a conscripted Wehrmacht sergeant. 3) She was not the product of Lebensborn. She was the product of an affair between a soldier and a young girl. It happens. I never had a problem with your people, but this kind of thing makes me see why many do.

  • Absolutely disgraceful piece of ''journalism''. Its as bad as anything Goebbels produced . The responsible individuals and the Jewish Channel should be deeply ashamed. The simple facts are her father was a member of an occupying military force who developed a relationship with a local girl. Its happened millions of times throughout the course of human history and Frida was the result. Both her parents and Frida are victims of war.

  • You bunch of Liars. Frida's Father was not a "nazi officer" sent to "concieve her" as part of the lebensborn program to further the aryan race. It is well known from the information available that:

    1. He was a Sargeant, which is NOT an officer, it is a squad leader, similar to a foreman in a factory or a construction site. it is one rank above a corporal, which is one rank above a private.

    2. He was NOT SS or Gestapo, he was Wehrmacht, the regular German army, which was mostly conscripts.

  • IS THIS ALL THE JEWISH CHANNEL CAN DO, IS SPREAD HATRED AND RACISM AGAINST AN INNOCENT CHILD VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND HER CONTROL?????

SHAME ON YOU COMPLETELY!!!!! I THOUGHT BETTER OF YOU THAN THAT!!!!!

I also suggest you watch the 5 part documentary on YouTube called sensationally (and obviously for better ratings in the U.K.) "Abba's Nazi Secret". I tore it apart, and enjoyed doing it.

  • NEIN

  • Anni-Frid Lyngstad is not a "lebensbornchild".

Not at all, but it is true that Frida´s father was a German soldier, which her mother simply fell in love with...Frida´s grandmother took her to Sweden after the wwII, since the Norwiegan treated innocent "Germanchild", so badly,

Frida is a result of a love story :)

  • I love jewes I love germans I love everybody.

Please select the persons who you really hate and don;t generalize ! It's a big mistake. There are wonderful jews and wonderful germans as well as opposite!

  • Hitler was Jewish , Eichmann was Jewish.... And your people are still sacrificed for fake ideologies! Just try to be an Israeli citizen if you are not circumcised Jew...So who is the racist?

  • I've checked out a picture of Frida's father in uniform. The eagle insignia on the uniform is on the breast and not on the arm of his jacket. That clearly indicated that he wasnt Nazi SS and therefore just regular german army. SS got better paid and more perks than the ordinary Wehrmacht. But to get in you had to prove your aryan credentials by showing a pure german family tree. There were plenty of SS men in norway, and Lebensborn would have been assigned to them rather than regular army

  • "" Thank GOD for "Proteus animalcule" ""

  • If you wish to take somebodies word for something that IS "NOT" TRUE, that's your business. The photos of her father CLEARLY show he was SEARGENT. There simply too many people that tahe JOURNALISM'S word for something and have no MIND OF THEIR OWN or INITIATIVE to check things out FOR THEMSELVES Look at the photos your self and compare to the military rank structure of the German military!!!

  • The comment of her father being an officer is is true only in the sense that he was in a parallel to the U.S. military rank system a seargent and is therfore a NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER, NOT AN "OFFICER " in the usual sense. Just go back into the ranking system of the WWII German Army , compare the photos of her father to the military rank charts of the time. The difference is huge.

  • Her father was a nazi german solder, his name is Alfred Haase and his mother was Synni Lyngstad(a norway girl who Alfred meets when she was 19-year-old).

  • this is so stupid.

    again nazi, nazi, and nazi.

this man was a simple german man fighting for his country. equating germany wiath nazism all the times is also brainwashing.

i dont mean holocaust was great, evidently, it is terrible shame BUT

her father was brainwashed as everybody then.

brainwashing exists since mankind: see communism and fascism.

some feminists and some jewish guys i know are also very very fanatic.

  • Yes Hitler was partly responsible fo the rise of ABBA.

  • It may be true, but AnniFrid doesn't have any personal involvement in the whole nazi-thing...

  • So Frida was concieved as a part of the Lebensborn project, but when she found him, he had not known that her mother had been pregnant? This is just rubbish.

  • There's no big, nazi scheme here. Frida's mother was one of the unfortunate women in occupied countries, who fell for a Wehrmacht soldier. But the soldier went away, and she was left an outcast of local society, to give birth to her 'bastard child'. Frida grew up aware of this isolation, but not knowing the cause. This is simply the case of a tragic wartime romance, and it's aftermatch. Nothing to do with 'Lebensborn'. This video is worthless, manipulative sensationalism.

  • A viewing of Mamma Mia is a vote for Hitler! Just rent Yentl instead.

  • Frida doesn´t have to do anything with this.

  • What's the relation of Meryl, Pierce, and the movie to this whole Nazi dad thing!!?!?

  • WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS rediculous segment??? The language is not fair to ABBA's Frida, HIGHLY unnecessary and condescending of her grace, dignity and openmindedness. She does not deserve this disrespect and she is a very strong woman. She does not need to be ashamed of something from her past she had absolutely nothing to do with... This has tabloid significance... rubbish, pure rubbish!

  • "The singer known as Frida will continue to struggle with her lingeage"...

What a load of bollocks! She doesn't struggle a bit... and why should she? I'd love to know the lineage of the idiot that made this footage. I bet there's at least one village idiot present.

  • LONG LIVE FRIDA xD

  • I really don't believe this, but feel it's some kind of damage ontrol done as the re-emergence of ABBA's Mamma Mia movie has soared to new heights and catapulting the group back into the limelight. Interests are at stake.

  • I've was an ABBA fan in the 70's (still am) They were mostly ridiculed in the US for being too polished and bubblegum. Frida is a victim of circumstance and has survived through many trials in her own life throughout the years. This is what makes her (us) stronger. It seems the Nazi connection due to her father's relationship was quickly quelched and that she really no longer has any contact with him.

  • Agreed, Frida developed in a somewhat miraculous way. Her loss of a mother when she was very young had tod do with her development as a singer, and of course ABBA. I suspect that most would not have survived the early environment she lived thruogh, just look into the Norwegian history of the following years of the war. To be sure she has querks much like any other human and has worked through most of them quite well.
