True...the average person doesn't need high dollar equipment to catch a fish. Knowledge of the specie is more useful. But...better equipment however does improve your opportunities.

When it comes to fishing...you get what you pay for.

the average person doesnt need all that fancy stuff to catch walleyes can get a rod from walmart and wat ever line u like (cz everyone argues bout line) and ur lure/bait and u goto a lake or river system with big walleyes and you catch walleyes its expeerience that matters dont need that fancy bullshit
