Reparative Therapy's rudimentary goal is to elicit heterosexual desires in a "gay" person, allowing him/her to ultimately enjoy a normal heterosexual relationship.

Dr. Nicolosi is the real deal, and I highly recommend him to anyone.

If somebody doesnt want to be gay, they should be allowed to have that choice to change. Whether you believe it is possible or not. I am straight and i have no problem with gay people but gays are really hipocrites on this issue. If someone is not happy and thinks it may help them, let them try it.

This guy is full of crap. I attended JIM (Journey Into Manhood), a "Reparative Therapy" weekend, and it was the most awesome experience of my life. Nearly everyone else there with whom I spoke expressed similar feelings. People like Jack Drescher ignore individuals such as myself while giving EXAGGERATED attention to the people who express dissatisfaction with "Reparative Therapy."

"reparative therapy" doesn't work; all it did for me was help me realize I'm bi instead of lesbian. It wasn't worth it to deal with all the bullshit though...I learned to tell them what I wanted to hear until I was able to run away from home, and when that didn't work out so well I was sent to a suicide watch thing when I wasn't suicidal. But the Mormon bullshit really pissed me off. I'm glad I was able to escape.

Thank you for telling the truth about changing gender orientation. I am gay and have a couple VERY religious friend who say I just haven't prayed hard enough. Ridiculous!
