I Have a rustler brushless and run 11.1 V 5400 MAH 25 C and have a hard time cracking 60 with highest gearing 35/ 75. I won't believe you are pushing 70 until you use a GPS on the car.

To those who think it is a Nitro running here you are not very smart. at 4:15 to 4:30 you can clearly hear a Nitro BEHIND the camera while he is way across the parking lot. The VXL is a brushless electric car and you can hear the sound of IT at 0:45 to 0:52, that is what they sound like. They do go 70+ with a good lipo and the right gearing. He can't mash the throttle because it will just flip over.
i want a nitro but some people say no they need to be repaired alot and it cost alot more but idk right now i have a brushless should i get a nitro or stick with the brushless

Most good RC Cars dont come with batteries anyway, so you would have to buy one either way for any car. Plus, I dont think a hotwheels falling out of a plane quite compares to the steerable, controllabe, constant 70+ mph Rustler VXL. Also, of course you have to change the gearing, can your real car travel down the highway in 1st gear?

To those who think it is a Nitro running here you are not very smart. at 4:15 to 4:30 you can clearly hear a Nitro BEHIND the camera while he is way across the parking lot. The VXL is a brushless electric car and you can hear the sound of IT at 0:45 to 0:52, that is what they sound like. They do go 70+ with a good lipo and the right gearing. He can't mash the throttle because it will just flip over.

one thing i dont like about traxxas is in my catalog, they claim that the rustler vxl can go 70mph, but thats after you change the gearing and buy like a 150$ lipo and charger. i could say my hotwheels car goes 600mph, but thats only if i threw it out the window of jet while its flying

Most good RC Cars dont come with batteries anyway, so you would have to buy one either way for any car. Plus, I dont think a hotwheels falling out of a plane quite compares to the steerable, controllabe, constant 70+ mph Rustler VXL. Also, of course you have to change the gearing, can your real car travel down the highway in 1st gear?
