The aftermath was horrible. Many dead, times that in wounded. The union could replace the losses, but unfortunately for Lee, he would never recover. As it was said, this battle decided the fate of the whole war. From then on, the South was never ever in the state of offense, it was to be, for the rest of the war, a defensive country. And with that the naval pickets choking the south, plus Grant's many successes in the West along the Mississippi, the South, was indelibly going to lose anyway.
Overall, Lee made a very hasty tactical assumation as to the disposition and strength of his opponent. Yes Meade was hesitant, and very costly in decision making, but this time, he did his job and reinforced Little Round Top. Successfully, he managed to set up troops on the small hill, and a flanking artillery unit on the larger. In so doing, he created a deadly cross fire, a channeling of firepower directed in a certain direction. Lee, for the first time, had underestimated his opponent.
Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. 'Forward, the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns' he said: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. 'Forward, the Light Brigade!' Was there a man dismay'd? Not tho' the soldiers knew Some one had blunder'd: Their's not to make reply, Their's not to reason why, Their's but to do and die: Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.
Why the fuck were they just walking while they were being fired directly at? This was just a stupid battle move. Let's just walk while we are being blown into pieces.
@ChosenTheOnexxx Run a mile uphill and have fun being both tired and split up into little packets as you arrive, all ready to be sliced up anyway. Not defending one of the textbook definitions of Stupid Decision, but it's not quite as simple as that. Commanders used to put a ton of emphasis on unit cohesion and stuff in medieval times, which is why they did the line fighting even then instead of taking cover.
@ChosenTheOnexxx im not hating on you for your comment but think, walk, get blown to pieces and have energy to break enemy lines. Or, run, still get torn up and then be too exhausted to do what you were told and get shot in the face with a musket ball. It's a lose-lose either way.
@ChosenTheOnexxx An Infantry Charge is a misleading term, it more denotes a concertrated attack on a single point. You can't run that entire distance and even if you did you would have to break formation which is disasterous in this type of warfare. When you get to about 20-30 meters away you can actually "Charge". This tactic does and did work on many occasions, there were just a number of reasons why this particular attack failed.
@ih8makinusernames Too much ground to cover, plus the overwhelming advantage of high ground to the defender. Also, the men were exhausted from the previous days. No replacements, little food, and many had no shoes. Some had the onset of illness. Naturally, Lee had confidence in men that were to weak, fatigued, and just hungry from the long march to Maryland.
150th anniversary Civil War. 2 years from 150th ann. of Gettysburg- the deciding battle.50,000+ dead in a few short days. "General Lee I must tell you strait, that I believe this attack will fail. No 15,000 men ever made will overtake that ridge today." The lead guitartist of Iced Earth is a historian too!
7:44 Tim The ripper Owne's voice is amazing, packed with emotion. Great job on this video very Grim, and I thank all the soilders on both sides for being soo brave! MAy your souls rest in peace for you bravery and honor for this Amazing country that we live in today.
@Alonethunder Lol dude are we even watching the same video? The guys that are marching across open ground are confederates not union. They got the crap blasted out of em.
Mojobytes these videos are so awesome I find myself coming back over and over. Not only will I buy this cd, I am definitely renting this Gettysburg movie for memorial day. Your editing is near perfect and the music and lyrics are so appropriate. Please don't take the rantings of idiots too seriously. Many people out of work have nothing more important to do than go online and cause controversy. It's their right. Just ignore them. Never have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
I asked you how you knew there were not just 100 al qeada in the country, and you said, "because 100 men couldn't be fighting us everywhere". This leaves no room for misunderstanding. You could not believe that there werent just 100 al qeada in the country, because you didn't know that it was mainly the taliban we are fighting and not al qaeda.
Like I said elsewhere, Rebel, the civil rights movement wasn't that long ago and the Civil war isn't that many generations far removed from our own.
So, really? I'm surprised you think centuries of humiliation, racism, and inequality can be erased in decades. I mean, the people who fought AGAINST the civil rights movement are still alive. Still bitter. "Separate but equal" ended relatively recently.
But, of course, it's all about easy solutions to difficult/complicated problems. That's how people work around here. That's what people want. The easy solutions. Get rid of healthcare, cut welfare, kick out all the immigrants. Et cetera, et cetera.
Of course, when the shit hits the fan, they'll undoubtedly throw their hands in the air and say "it wasn't me" or better yet, finger pointing and the blame game. And seek more easy solutions to difficult problems.
@Mahbu Not easy solutions, but honest solutions. "People" don't was to "kick-out" all immigrants, but illegal immigrants. Get rid of healthcare? Are U kidding? Don't want to get rid of healthcare. Just not gov run health care. Cut welfare? Hell, yes! Welfare doesn't improve anyone's situation, creates dependency, and robs people of dignity. I've seen up close how people are treated at so-called "human service" agencies: Contempt, disdain, condescension. You've assumed a lot, and wrongly.
Like many people can tell the difference, Rev. To the average American, an immigrant is someone who steals jobs (even though half the time they're jobs that no one wanted anyway) and is lazy (nevermind they work harder for less)
And then, really, I wonder if anyone has asked "what will happen once we get rid of them"? Have you? We haven't even figured out how to get rid of them or keep them out. Are we even prepared to deal with all the companies/businesses effected?
After all, they'll be very upset that they won't have their cheap labor. I fear they may try to jack up prices or more companies will go oversees. Or simply go under.
And not government run healthcare? I laugh because it's not as if private companies don't bend you over and rape you. The idea of a government run healthcare should be to provide an affordable alternative for people who can't afford it otherwise.
I get that people don't want to pay taxes for healthcare, I do, but I don't understand that people don't realize they pay exorbitant prices for private healthcare. The weird thing is there are countries that pay higher taxes than us but get free healthcare and higher education.
All it needs is some thinking and work to, well, make it work.
AND welfare. Like I said, the easy solution is to get rid of it but what then?
You said "get rid of it" but what then? Wish them the best of luck and pat them on the back? That doesn't exactly do anything either. Instead of being dependent, they'll be homeless. Woo. Everyone's arguing whether or not to keep it but not how to make it work because that takes too much work.
For instance, how people are being treated? That'd be something that by all rights be easily solved but now. We throw any douche in that position because we don't want it.
It's a shame our prisons are overflowing but, really, considering most are privatized so their much happier to cut corners and do shady things. . . considering people really only care about punishment and revenge rather than rehabilitation, what do you expect?
I mean, we let them agonize in there, learn nothing except from other criminals how to survive and thrive. . of course they're going to go back to crime. Nobody cares about them anyway so why should they change?
And they learn nothing because no one expects them to. No one wants to help them. No, we're too busy calling them "lazy Negroes" or whatever slur for whatever racial background they may be at the time.
We're too busy trying to tell them "too bad" and "do it yourself", kicking them to the curb and not giving them options to explore because, really, we as a country are too selfish and too entitled/self-absorbed.
It could be just as easy to suggest everyone criticizing Longstreet were bitter over his choices and all the scathing remarks people made about him after the war. Come on, he became the focal point of the Lost Cause. He became the scape goat, the whipping boy so that people like Lee could look pristine while Longstreet took on all the blame.
REBELSSSS!!!!!! YEAAAAAA BABBBY!!!!!!!!! south hadda won.......white ppl would be sittin on the high horse right now....instead....we cant get shit from th social security and gotta get on our hands and knees to make an honest living
@Flatlandkayak No "53,000" men "Died" at Gettysburg. If that was true then the wounded would have been double that. That would indicate 106,000 wounded. For a grand total of close to 160,000 men. Lee's ANV and Meade's AOP together had that much manpower. Meade had around 85,000 men and Lee had around 72,000 men. It is often thought that a grand total of killed, wounded and captured/missing was "50,000". But I dispute that, because the majority of wounded men returned to duty.
Forget all the other comments, I just want to know why you cut off the incredible intro to this song! The pounding drums followed by the soaring guitar riff that builds up before fading into the slow beginning. Kudos for your work on piecing together the footage for all three songs but cutting up this song is almost unforgivable!
@TNightmare1 By the time of Gettysburg, half of Lee's artillery was captured Union artillery. 1st Bull Run--28 pieces captured. Williamsburg--4, Seven Days--Gaine'sMill--19, Glendale--16, many more left behind. Second Bull Run was at least 30 pieces, Chancellorsville--probably around 25, Harper's Ferry alone was 47 pieces. At Gettysburg the Confederates hauled off Seven captured pieces, they captured many more, but officially it was Seven.
Respond to this video...At Gettysburg, Lee had 78-- 3-Inch Rifles, 44---10 Pound Parrott's, 10----20 Pound Parrott's and two Whitworth Rifles. Total Rifled artillery: 134. Lee had 98--12 Pound Napoleon's, 1--6 Pound Field gun, 33---12-Pound howitzer, 4---24 Pound howitzer. Total 136. Lee had a total of 270 pieces (Not including Jeb Stuart's horse artillery. Stuart had 20 rifled artillery pieces, the other 10 were smooth.
Respond to this video...The AOP, had 142---12 Pound Napoleon's, 2----12 Pound howitzer, 142---3 Inch Rifles, 60--10 Pound Parrott's, 6---20 Pound Parrott's and 4---James Rifles---->. (3.8 Inch Rifled Piece) . Total: 356. 212 were "Rifled". The major problem with Confederate artillery, a four gun battery was mixed by caliber, maybe 2-12 Napoleon's with 2--12 Pound howitzer's. A nightmare to supply a battery with two types of ammo.
Had the rebel artillery not been plagued with haphazard fuses for their shells it might have been a much closer contested fight. Many people are unaware that JEB Stuart and a whole Rebel cavalry corps nearly appeared in the flanks and the Federal artillery park as well. It was a decent plan, it just went horribly awry.
@kit40 I agree with your post 110%, go figure that 80% of the shells sailed high over the Union positions. Now the initial first shots did hit Union artillery and troop positions. But now all that smoke is building up and when you fire a artillery piece, it will jump back a bit. So Confederate artillery crews had to push them back forward again, but they did not adjust the elevation screws.
@Fangjangler: Eventually, it was a tactical error, but if you check the history of the previous 2 days, there is some logic in Lee deciding to assault the center of the Union line.
@TNightmare1 That logic, was on July 2nd, 1863, BG. Wright's Georgia Brigade, attacked the same place the day before Pickett's Charge. Now BG. Wright was sick and Colonel William Gibson had brigade command. His men almost broke through, but it failed. So Lee thought, a brigade today, I will try a Corps tomorrow! The AOP was weakest in their center, because they had sent major reinforcements to both flanks.
Colonel Prouty never ran the CIA nor served in the CIA- he was just recommended by them for a damn medal. He was an Air Force general who also was a conspiracist regarding JFK's death. He was in fact chief of Special Operations in 63, but he was not a spook.
At least General Lee owned up to his mistake at Gettysburg - I doubt an American general would do such a thing publicly while still serving his nation. I won't even consider a US President doing so - God forbid they realize they are human and are subject, from time to time, to make mistakes...
Stephanie, your wasting your finger muscles with Don Meaker, he has no idea what you are typing. He falls into my "John Brown Hypocrite" group of idiots that type nothing but slavery and know little to nothing on the battles. Look for "RonPaulHatesBlacks" you'll love him! lol. He uses over 50 different screen names and will "Friend" himself. lol. Then on a page, he will use 2-3 different screen names and give himself a "Thumbs Up". He is John Brown the First.
@rebel2276 Ehhhh . . I'm a sucker for giving brainless wonders a good jab now and then. Especially when they can't back their "Alice in Wonderland" versions of the War of Northern Aggression up with facts. . . =D
@StephanieHammack Amen to that, I like to work with the young teenagers and people just getting into the Civil War. They are not so brainwashed, stubborn and arrogant.
@rebel2276 In a way, I don't blame any of these people, it is not their fault. The United States Government has mislead, lied and covered up much of what really went down during the war. Being in this business for nearly thirty years, I have come across tons of stuff that will differ from the US. Government's version of the Civil War. I back up what I type with sources, I never, ever, come on here, making up crap. I just wish the US. Government would just come clean and admit to the real truth.
@rebel2276 There is always two sides to every story during and after a war the losers side and the winners. I am sure both sides mislead, lied and cover up things that happen in the war. The losers understandable usually protest the loudest because they lost. However, in the case of the Civil War both side were equally wrong in their actions. It's a war that was totally unnecessary and fought for power & wealth on the part of both sides what a shame.
@686204 This is exactly why my research team and I dig very deep at the National Archives and Library of Congress, here in Washington DC. I agree with you the war was unnecessary and could have been prevented. Lincoln wrote a letter that has never been published and never will be. In his letter, he wrote who was behind the whole war. He blamed the Pope and the Jesuits. "Their conscience orders them to burn my wife, strangle my children and cut my throat."
@686204 "The Civil War would never have been possible without the sinister influence of the Jesuits. We owe it to popery that we now see our land reddened with the blood of our noblest sons." "Men who are sworn to obey a Pope who pretends to have the right to put to death, those that differ from him in religion."
"I was great influenced by the Jesuits." Adolf Hitler
@rebel2276 We have had a few claimed conspiracy's in the history of this country such as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Assassination of JFK also the collapse of the Twin Towers I take them all with a grain of salt. I fail to see how Lincoln could have been influenced by a Roman Catholic Pope when he was not Catholic and a non citizen of this country. I think you are chasing butterflies but good luck with your theory I am always open to new substantiated evidence
@686204 Interesting you should post that, for just early this evening we found evidence, finally, of who was really behind Lincoln's assassination. You and anyone else reading this, do not have to believe what I type. We are satisfied we have the truth, finally. So we got that covered and knocked out. If your looking for "Substantial Evidence", head on over to the National Archives here in Washington DC and have fun digging for Ten plus years!
@rebel2276 Let me guess your a so called Christian. You really do seem to be talking a load of horse shit. Ten years in the US National archive and you just stumbled on letters by Lincoln and such not. Found the real evidence about who assinated him. Why are you blurbing this crap. Do you really have nothing better to do or are you a 14 year old just looking for attention. Or maybe your a schizo who between breaks from bateing you write twaddle. Fucking grow up.
@rebel2276 I don't dispute your claim at this time. As I said I am always open to new theories if they can be substantiated. I would imagine you are in the process of writing a book on the CW otherwise you would not be putting in such time & effort to obtain such info. Let me know when it is written and I will be one of your first customers to see if you can" prove you are right". The whole of America will also be judging for and against if it contradicts the present established evidence
@686204 Oh no, I am not writing any books on that subject. Twenty years ago I told myself I was not going to waste my time on that. I was not going to write another book on Gettysburg or another biography on Grant or Lee. That has all been done. I thought twenty years ago, what has not been published? I identified what was missing and it's been a long journey working with the unknown and impossible. I like the challenge though, all the experts told me, "Good Luck", lol.
@686204 There are things that should not be written and I have been warned not to cross that line. My grandfather ran the CIA from 1955-1963. Colonel Fletcher Prouty. He was sent to the South Pole when X-President Kennedy was assassinated. Many things he told me and many things I don't want to know. I just want to finish my thirty years in the Army, retire, finish my books and pass everything on to my oldest son. Read the bible the truth lies between the lines.
You should be aware that rebel2276 is a complete and total liar. He's repeatedly argued to me, on multiple videos, that on page 62 of Grant: A Biography, William McFeely wrote that Ulysses S. Grant personally owned 12 slaves at "New Haven." That's quickly and easily verified, of course, and it is a complete and total lie.
Fletcher Prouty did not run the CIA from 1955 to 1963. Allen Dulles and John McCone did. Prouty was a Scientology apologist who called evolution a "propaganda scheme." Ugh.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I am aware that rebel2276's grandfather was never the director of the CIA I was a teenager back in the 50's & never heard of Fletcher Prouty. It is for that reason I am somewhat skeptical about some of the claims he is making. However as stated I am always open to new evidence on the CW that can be substantiated so far nothing has been coming that would change my mind.
@rebel2276 Dude..your the one making the claims. Backup your ass with proof we can see or don't say anything. To be honest, a bunch of skeptical letters don't mean crap. It really doesn't matter anyways. Lincoln is dead. It's time to stop with the conspiracy theories move on buddy.
@Tigerbeetweenie Can you read? Look up Six posts from your post. Lincoln's letter that I typed on here. Also Hitler's "I was greatly influenced by the Jesuits".
I am not moving on anywhere, my research team and I do deep searches at the National Archives and Library of Congress here in Washington DC. I have been in this business for thirty years. We find many letters/things never published. I have no plans to make a book out of it, because many people would not believe it.
@Tigerbeetweenie You don't need to believe me, put down your video games and move to Washington DC and get about Ten years of research in at the National Archives. Those letters are very important, because Lincoln pointed out who was behind the war. That was never known before Major Williams found that letter. Just as you like video games, we like doing hard core research on the Civil War.
@Tigerbeetweenie Of course, it is not going to change anything. Like I typed, not many people are going to believe it. Even if someone came out with a hundred books with thousands of sources and thousands of letters proving the US. Government was wrong, it would do nothing.
My research team and I search for missing Union/Confederate strength's and losses at battles that are unknown. Captured flags, artillery etc. We work on what is "Unknown", that no other human has figured out.
Notice the gun @ 00:56 verses the others as Lee and Longstreet are walking the line. This difference in calibers was another reason the Confederacy was doomed. At Vicksburg, this disparity stood out like a sore thumb.
What still gets me about this seen is the lack of recoil from these guns as they're firing. Do take notice that no one is standing directly behind them because, when these things fired, they rolled (i.e. @ 06:27 the soldier grabs the firing lanyard THEN jumps to the side before pulling) then had to be rolled BACK to their original firing positions.
I FEAR THIS IS WHAT IS GOING TO BE US SOONER THEN LATER PEOPLE AGAINST GOVERNMENT 3%ER'S. SO STOCK UP BOYS AND GIRLS ITS GOING TO BE A RIDE THROUGH HELL
@dynaboy1964 With constantly reelecting the same old, tired liars, sitting silently while Congress forces unfunded mandates on our States, we elect Congress and the POTUS according to the amount of smoke they can blow up our asses and "As a Democrat/Republican/Tea, I'll show those other parties I MEAN BUSINESS!!"; your words simply don't carry very much weight. I'm NOT insulting you, by any means!!!!!!!! Simply stating my opinion to yours.
@CM99501- Yes, take pride in the most stupid attack in history. But the soldiers were very brave in the face of General Lee sending them on a suicide mission thinking it would work.
i wish i was in the civil war i am a union it just looks fun but lee was good i heard they put dead union sodilers in his house somthing like that but i wish i was in that war all of them.

Why the fuck were they just walking while they were being fired directly at? This was just a stupid battle move. Let's just walk while we are being blown into pieces.
ChosenTheOnexxx 8 months ago
@ChosenTheOnexxx Run a mile uphill and have fun being both tired and split up into little packets as you arrive, all ready to be sliced up anyway. Not defending one of the textbook definitions of Stupid Decision, but it's not quite as simple as that. Commanders used to put a ton of emphasis on unit cohesion and stuff in medieval times, which is why they did the line fighting even then instead of taking cover.
HuntrBlackLuna 7 months ago
@HuntrBlackLuna plus the weaponry of past times dictated the need for line vollet fire due to thier smoothbore muskets.

@ChosenTheOnexxx wow.... have people so little knowledge about past tactics.... what do they teach in history class these days?
TheKodiak72 7 months ago
@ChosenTheOnexxx im not hating on you for your comment but think, walk, get blown to pieces and have energy to break enemy lines. Or, run, still get torn up and then be too exhausted to do what you were told and get shot in the face with a musket ball. It's a lose-lose either way.
Unova39 7 months ago
@ChosenTheOnexxx An Infantry Charge is a misleading term, it more denotes a concertrated attack on a single point. You can't run that entire distance and even if you did you would have to break formation which is disasterous in this type of warfare. When you get to about 20-30 meters away you can actually "Charge". This tactic does and did work on many occasions, there were just a number of reasons why this particular attack failed.
ih8makinusernames 7 months ago
@ih8makinusernames Too much ground to cover, plus the overwhelming advantage of high ground to the defender. Also, the men were exhausted from the previous days. No replacements, little food, and many had no shoes. Some had the onset of illness. Naturally, Lee had confidence in men that were to weak, fatigued, and just hungry from the long march to Maryland.

@rebel2276
Mahbu 10 months ago
@rebel2276
Mahbu 10 months ago
@Mahbu Not easy solutions, but honest solutions. "People" don't was to "kick-out" all immigrants, but illegal immigrants. Get rid of healthcare? Are U kidding? Don't want to get rid of healthcare. Just not gov run health care. Cut welfare? Hell, yes! Welfare doesn't improve anyone's situation, creates dependency, and robs people of dignity. I've seen up close how people are treated at so-called "human service" agencies: Contempt, disdain, condescension. You've assumed a lot, and wrongly.
RevWarRev 9 months ago
@RevWarRev
Mahbu 9 months ago
@RevWarRev
Mahbu 9 months ago
@RevWarRev
Mahbu 9 months ago
@RevWarRev
Mahbu 9 months ago
@rebel2276
Mahbu 10 months ago
@Rebel2276

@nickypmn1991 More than 53,000 people died in the three days of fighting at Gettysburg. How much more emotion do you think a mere song can add?
Flatlandkayak 10 months ago
@Flatlandkayak No "53,000" men "Died" at Gettysburg. If that was true then the wounded would have been double that. That would indicate 106,000 wounded. For a grand total of close to 160,000 men. Lee's ANV and Meade's AOP together had that much manpower. Meade had around 85,000 men and Lee had around 72,000 men. It is often thought that a grand total of killed, wounded and captured/missing was "50,000". But I dispute that, because the majority of wounded men returned to duty.

TNightmare1 11 months ago
@TNightmare1 By the time of Gettysburg, half of Lee's artillery was captured Union artillery. 1st Bull Run--28 pieces captured. Williamsburg--4, Seven Days--Gaine'sMill--19, Glendale--16, many more left behind. Second Bull Run was at least 30 pieces, Chancellorsville--probably around 25, Harper's Ferry alone was 47 pieces. At Gettysburg the Confederates hauled off Seven captured pieces, they captured many more, but officially it was Seven.
rebel2276 11 months ago
Respond to this video...At Gettysburg, Lee had 78-- 3-Inch Rifles, 44---10 Pound Parrott's, 10----20 Pound Parrott's and two Whitworth Rifles. Total Rifled artillery: 134. Lee had 98--12 Pound Napoleon's, 1--6 Pound Field gun, 33---12-Pound howitzer, 4---24 Pound howitzer. Total 136. Lee had a total of 270 pieces (Not including Jeb Stuart's horse artillery. Stuart had 20 rifled artillery pieces, the other 10 were smooth.
rebel2276 11 months ago
Have a good day!
rebel2276 11 months ago
Had the rebel artillery not been plagued with haphazard fuses for their shells it might have been a much closer contested fight. Many people are unaware that JEB Stuart and a whole Rebel cavalry corps nearly appeared in the flanks and the Federal artillery park as well. It was a decent plan, it just went horribly awry.
kit40 11 months ago
@kit40 I agree with your post 110%, go figure that 80% of the shells sailed high over the Union positions. Now the initial first shots did hit Union artillery and troop positions. But now all that smoke is building up and when you fire a artillery piece, it will jump back a bit. So Confederate artillery crews had to push them back forward again, but they did not adjust the elevation screws.
Great post!
rebel2276 11 months ago
@Fangjangler: Eventually, it was a tactical error, but if you check the history of the previous 2 days, there is some logic in Lee deciding to assault the center of the Union line.
TNightmare1 11 months ago
@TNightmare1 That logic, was on July 2nd, 1863, BG. Wright's Georgia Brigade, attacked the same place the day before Pickett's Charge. Now BG. Wright was sick and Colonel William Gibson had brigade command. His men almost broke through, but it failed. So Lee thought, a brigade today, I will try a Corps tomorrow! The AOP was weakest in their center, because they had sent major reinforcements to both flanks.
Great post!

Government would just come clean and admit to the real truth.
rebel2276 1 year ago
@rebel2276 There is always two sides to every story during and after a war the losers side and the winners. I am sure both sides mislead, lied and cover up things that happen in the war. The losers understandable usually protest the loudest because they lost. However, in the case of the Civil War both side were equally wrong in their actions. It's a war that was totally unnecessary and fought for power & wealth on the part of both sides what a shame.
686204 1 year ago
@686204 This is exactly why my research team and I dig very deep at the National Archives and Library of Congress, here in Washington DC. I agree with you the war was unnecessary and could have been prevented. Lincoln wrote a letter that has never been published and never will be. In his letter, he wrote who was behind the whole war. He blamed the Pope and the Jesuits. "Their conscience orders them to burn my wife, strangle my children and cut my throat."
rebel2276 1 year ago
@686204 "The Civil War would never have been possible without the sinister influence of the Jesuits. We owe it to popery that we now see our land reddened with the blood of our noblest sons." "Men who are sworn to obey a Pope who pretends to have the right to put to death, those that differ from him in religion."
"I was great influenced by the Jesuits." Adolf Hitler
rebel2276 1 year ago
@rebel2276 We have had a few claimed conspiracy's in the history of this country such as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Assassination of JFK also the collapse of the Twin Towers I take them all with a grain of salt. I fail to see how Lincoln could have been influenced by a Roman Catholic Pope when he was not Catholic and a non citizen of this country. I think you are chasing butterflies but good luck with your theory I am always open to new substantiated evidence
686204 1 year ago
@686204 Interesting you should post that, for just early this evening we found evidence, finally, of who was really behind Lincoln's assassination. You and anyone else reading this, do not have to believe what I type. We are satisfied we have the truth, finally. So we got that covered and knocked out. If your looking for "Substantial Evidence", head on over to the National Archives here in Washington DC and have fun digging for Ten plus years!
rebel2276 1 year ago
@rebel2276 Let me guess your a so called Christian. You really do seem to be talking a load of horse shit.
686204 11 months ago
@686204 Oh no, I am not writing any books on that subject. Twenty years ago I told myself I was not going to waste my time on that. I was not going to write another book on Gettysburg or another biography on Grant or Lee. That has all been done. I thought twenty years ago, what has not been published? I identified what was missing and it's been a long journey working with the unknown and impossible. I like the challenge though, all the experts told me, "Good Luck", lol.
rebel2276 11 months ago
@686204 There are things that should not be written and I have been warned not to cross that line. My grandfather ran the CIA from 1955-1963. Colonel Fletcher Prouty. He was sent to the South Pole when X-President Kennedy was assassinated. Many things he told me and many things I don't want to know. I just want to finish my thirty years in the Army, retire, finish my books and pass everything on to my oldest son. Read the bible the truth lies between the lines.
rebel2276 11 months ago
You should be aware that rebel2276 is a complete and total liar. He's repeatedly argued to me, on multiple videos, that on page 62 of Grant: A Biography, William McFeely wrote that Ulysses S. Grant personally owned 12 slaves at "New Haven." That's quickly and easily verified, of course, and it is a complete and total lie.
Fletcher Prouty did not run the CIA from 1955 to 1963. Allen Dulles and John McCone did. Prouty was a Scientology apologist who called evolution a "propaganda scheme." Ugh.
RonPaulHatesBlacks 11 months ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I am aware that rebel2276's grandfather was never the director of the CIA I was a teenager back in the 50's & never heard of Fletcher Prouty. It is for that reason I am somewhat skeptical about some of the claims he is making. However as stated I am always open to new evidence on the CW that can be substantiated so far nothing has been coming that would change my mind.
686204 11 months ago
@rebel2276 Dude..your the one making the claims. Backup your ass with proof we can see or don't say anything. To be honest, a bunch of skeptical letters don't mean crap. It really doesn't matter anyways. Lincoln is dead. It's time to stop with the conspiracy theories move on buddy.
Tigerbeetweenie 11 months ago
@Tigerbeetweenie Can you read? Look up Six posts from your post. Lincoln's letter that I typed on here. Also Hitler's "I was greatly influenced by the Jesuits".
I am not moving on anywhere, my research team and I do deep searches at the National Archives and Library of Congress here in Washington DC. I have been in this business for thirty years. We find many letters/things never published. I have no plans to make a book out of it, because many people would not believe it.
rebel2276 11 months ago
@Tigerbeetweenie You don't need to believe me, put down your video games and move to Washington DC and get about Ten years of research in at the National Archives. Those letters are very important, because Lincoln pointed out who was behind the war. That was never known before Major Williams found that letter. Just as you like video games, we like doing hard core research on the Civil War.
We just seek the real truth.
rebel2276 11 months ago
@rebel2276 Does it really matter though? Seriously? It's not like it'd change the outcome of the war if you were to find out.
Tigerbeetweenie 11 months ago
@Tigerbeetweenie Of course, it is not going to change anything. Like I typed, not many people are going to believe it. Even if someone came out with a hundred books with thousands of sources and thousands of letters proving the US. Government was wrong, it would do nothing.
My research team and I search for missing Union/Confederate strength's and losses at battles that are unknown. Captured flags, artillery etc. We work on what is "Unknown", that no other human has figured out.

What still gets me about this seen is the lack of recoil from these guns as they're firing.
