  • Loving yr vids. The flowers look so pretty. I've dunked flowers before to colour them but never thought to add glue & glitter like that. So thks 4 sharing that tip. Another tip 4 you is that any left over white glue & water can be stored in a jar and used for sticking down paper onto chipboard. Watered down glue spread thinly with a paint brush or sponge brush gives less creases than full strength glue when dry especially if you breyer the paper flat once applied to the chipboard. Hugs Lynn

  • @Scrapitydoodah What a great tip! Thanks so much for sharing that and thank you for your sweet comment.

  • Absolutely stunning!! Thanks for the tutorial, will definately be trying this!

  • @mazajpeter Thank you so much! Warning: it's highly addictive :-)

  • This is a really nice tutorial. What kind of glitter did you use? I only have the embossing glitter. the flowers are soooooooooooooo pretty. :)

  • @ShySmilingMoose Hi and thanks for the compliment. Embossing powder and glitter are two different products. Embossing powder has a binding agent and glitter has none. That is why embossing powder can be used with VersaMark or pigment ink and glitter has to be used with some type of glue. The glitter I used in my video is from Martha Stewart Crafts and Stampin' Up! But you can use any glitter -- they all work with this technique!

  • Such a great idea - I love glitter too! Thanks for the inspiration - just gorgeous!!

  • Hi CeeCee, love it! What kind of video camera are you using? If you don't mind my asking I would really appreciate it.

  • @KarenIsNew For this video, I used a Panasonic HDC-SD20. It's 2 years old but it's still works. I will be using my Canon T3 in later videos though. If you have the money, that's a great camera that does both photo and photo-quality vids. Thanks for the compliment!

  • @creationsceecee Thanks CeeCee. One day I'm going to get a video camera, the silly little web cam I have is basically useless, lol. I really liked that you could zoom in and out so easily. This may be a silly question, do you have it rigged above your desk somehow? lol...sorry, but enquiring minds wanna know :o)

  • @KarenIsNew Karen, you just gave me the impetus to make a quick video response because i've been getting a lot of questions about my set-up lately. It's uploading right now so check back in a few hours. Don't be sorry; glad I can help.

  • Yummy is right! Thank you for this tutorial!

    Hugs,

    Sue
