No offense, but you can't even compare Texas mud surfing to pristine (well not so much anymore) Pensacola Beach. 15 years ago, before the fetch got screwed up with hurrcane Ivan and a few others, I would paddle out and enjoy some of the glassiest head high waves on a regular basis.

East coast mush to you, johnnysea, but I'll bet you haven't even surfed in a year at least. Dust off your board, and rememeber its about fun, not how much better your elitest california attitude is than us.

Pensacola Beach is pristine dude, no mud there, not unless there was an oil spill. Surfing there is pretty lame now for the most part, breaks are almost all gone from storm erosion, its kind of a delicate barrier island. "My beach is better than yours!" .. just kidding

Surf was just overhead on the big sets, predominately lefts, but regulars were pulling in rights shooting up next to the pier. Too bad i couldn't get out today for more shooting, but oh well, another day. Nice rides guys -
