  • This made me cry. I can never thank the Aquino family enough for what they've done for the Filipino people.

Just to share my thoughts on some of the comments here, I think Ballsy is the strongest of the siblings. I feel it in her quiet ways. She never has to do or say anything to prove this. She just is a graceful strength. And to me there is no mistaking this lady when pushed to a corner will know what to do.

  • @nocber I agree with what you said. Kung hindi dahil sa mga sakripisyo nina Ninoy at Cory, hindi natin nae-enjoy ang kalayaan at demokrasya na tinatamasa natin ngayon! That fact alone is enough for me...and we should always be thankful for this freedom we're enjoying.

  • he is a true hero!

  • 1m6 favor naman share mo naman sakin ung letter for viel im so curiuos about it i read the 3 letters but not the letter for viel hope u reply... thank you

  • i can't hold back my tears when i read Sen. Ninoy's letter to Ballsy, having experienced celebrating my 18th birthday without my beloved dad at my side =( ... anyway, Sen. Ninoy's letter to his children only shows how kind of a father he is/was.

  • can you please share the letter that Ninoy wrote for Viel? I was able to read the 3 letters to the other kids but not for Viel..

  • Mas touching yung letter nya kay Ms, Viel. I have the privilege to read it. She happens to be my former boss.

  • talaga san mo nabasa paki share naman dito sa youtube pls....

  • To me Ballsy and Kris is the pretty one, but I like the most is Ballsy soft-spoken, educated and kind

  • I've read his letters to Ballsy, Noynoy and Pinky but never to Viel, I was still looking for his letter to Viel but couldn't find. I cried the most when I started reading his letter to Ballsy, it so sad tale to a debutant that your dad is in prison, she called Pinky his "doublemommie" the word that makes me laugh but very good letters.

  • sobrang nakakadurog ng puso

  • grabe as in tumulo ang luha ko

  • By the letters he made to his children, we see Ninoy's unshakable love for his family and his country.

And I hope that every Filipinos will imitate the late Senator with his great love and service for the sake of our country.

  • In his letter to Noynoy, there he said his famous line, "I would rather die on my feet with honor, than live on bended knees in shame".

But for me, the most enjoyable read was his letter to Viel, where it was revealed that she might have inherited his dad's intelligence for consistently bringing home school honors.

  • Pwede po pashare nung kay Viel? nabasa ko na kay Ballsy, Pinky and Noynoy.

  • i think i read somewhere from old magazines when I was little, that VIEL was Sen. Ninoy's favorite daughter, that was why he was her protector and he called her "little princess" in all the letters to his children that I read in the internet. for that reason, it was VIEL's name that i remember most among the 3 sisters of Kris.

  • Well for me, Viel is the most beautiful of the Aquino daughters...followed by Ballsy, Kris and Pinky. If Noynoy's a woman, she's dead last! Hehehe =P

  • Hi Armibus, all of Ninoy's letters to his children are in the book "A Testament From a Prison Cell".

Not sure if it's still available at NBS. I got mine when I went to Aquino Museum.

  • Thanks ganitestud for the info. At last I was able to read Ninoy's letter to Viel. here are some parts:

"You will realize, of course that you are Daddy's little apple because you are the only one who brings him the first honor every year."

"Many say that you are the prettiest of my daughters. I can believe that because of all of you, you are the only one who looks like Mommie. She was your spitting image when she was young and of course as thin... Terrific combination, beauty and brains..."

  • so touching!!!

  • oh my GOD,,napaiyak po ako sa sulat ,,,I LOVE YOU PO AQUINO FAMILY,,,THANKS

  • thanks for sharing..

  • Always a pleasure! ;-)

  • ninoy letter to his daughter ballsy, sobra nakakaiyak...

  • is it in a book? where can I read these letters? where can I buy the book?

  • the first time i got to read those letters, it really made me cry as i also remembered my dad... good thing Ninoy left his children that lasting legacy and iam thankful that his children unselfishly shared the letters to the Filipinos
