  • Music, fast, slow, whatever, is a reproduction of something unimaginable. It's creation. Every type of art has this inception, I guess. So, you may be a technical guitarist without imagination, a technical guitarist with imagination, an amateur guitarrist without imagination, a "speculative guitarist", etc... Human factor we all(or almost) have. Imagination too(in different grade). Technic and musical knowledge, no necessarily. The thechnic is the instrument of expression of criativity or feelin

  • as a musician your playing is limited by your technique and understanding, eg. Slash is still playing the same stuff now he played 20 years ago because technically he hasnt improved alot, but the music he makes has phrasing and dynamics and with in hes technical comfort zone. Malmsteen is very fast but has NO dynamics, understanding of phrasing or rhythm and in another 20 years they will both be playing the same stuff as now. As for the title id say Malmsteen is an amateur

  • The people complaining about the use of effects are talking out there neck. What is he supposed to do, whip out a lute or a bongo drum? Effects are an integral part of every players sound. Some use more than others, but you would be hard pressed to name one that doesn't use any at all...

  • @dannon2010 - This is not Hendrix tone.

  • he plays symphonies on guitar ... not everyone's mind tht fast 2 year before i dint like em i guess its time

  • people on youtube saying "play it without effects" or "technical musically not" do not UNDERSTAND what is the real idea of what music is, or art, which is not a technic only.. they're to closed mind to understand some "abstract" ideas of sounds... fck people really need to expand their minds a little bit

  • I just can't understand how people can't understand this music JUST because is really "fast"...

    expand your mind.

  • @mralex2387 Well to me it's too fast to enjoy or provoke any feelings within me. Music is to create an impression, not just to impress. I think that players like this are a little too obsessed with the latter. Music can be wildly creative but it needs to have some sort of accessibility to those listening - with gaps for ideas to sink in and make their mark. It just sounds to me like a guy who's spent years in a bedroom with a metronome and a scale book.

  • GODDD!!!!!!!!!!! X_X !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @teufelmeinlehrer - Distortion, compresion, graphic EQ ( a must for strat guys), reverb, volume, etc...etc...

  • @Snotra Hendrix...no reverb, no compression, no EQ live.

  • Try that without effects.

  • @Snotra which effects man?

  • @Snotra I guess you never saw YJM playing an acoustic guitar.

  • @Snotra He has some acoustic perfomances, go check that out : D

  • or even some POP music, but get some feeling out of it , cuz if you dont it ain't music, and if it ain't music you might as well put a computer to play faster than malmsteen ....

  • I think malmsteen is a great player, but he hardly makes music, i dunno whats up with people these days or if i am the one who is wrong but these shitty metal fans ( mostly traumatized socially akward people) think it's the hardest thing in the world to turn 3000 effects on your guitar and masturbate arpeggios and scales without feeling or timing, and what if it was the hardest thing? why dou you ugly kids need to say you listen to THE BEST, go study some classical or jazz to learn real music...

  • @juliovac You are not wrong. But to be fair, I see a lot of jazz guitar players masturbating without feeling or timing either .. they just have more chromatics :). The real masters can do it *all* :: rock, jazz, country, blues, flamenco, banjo, mandolin .. having only got the charts 15 minutes earlier, and nail it in only a few takes. And many of them we will never hear of.

  • @getkristan i do listen to a lot of jazz and i do agree with you, some of them like Frank gambale he is the fastest player i have ever seen, he could kick malmsteen ass any day, but i don't like his music.... i rather listen to john scofield, he just takes it easy but with such creative phrasing, that in my opinion as a guitarist that's harder than playing than to masturbate all over with effects to clean up your mess, eric clapton for example the guys is a fucking genious,,,,

  • "guitar pro 6" has more feeling than Malmsteen.

  • Malmsteen can not be compared with Mozart en Paganini and other great composer musicians from the past.

  • I love , LOVE! how Ywgwie can play at 300+ bpm with ease but sort out his shitty tone.....

  • Becker better :D

  • The amateur is actually better than him.

  • yngwie malmsteen is such a loser.

  • @MrRevPolarbear And why is that??...

  • @Voddgreen speed isn't everything, there's a reason why eric clapton is one of the most famous guitarists that has ever been and why nobody even knows who yngwie malmsteen is

  • @MrRevPolarbear or... hes a professional musician with tons of money , a wife and childrens , and can wake up every morning and do the thing he loves the most - playing .

he also brought alot to the music world (back in the 80s) . no speed is not everything. but i don't care about eric clapton or any other "best muscians ever". i love heavy metal , i love playing fast and going nuts, so be it. maybe you should think of what music is really about before saying stupid stuff

  • @TheCreature131 you sound butthurt, bro

  • @MrRevPolarbear well am just showing you the facts. maybe that guy loves playing slower stuff with different technique and style , cause that's what feels right for him and that's how he shows his passion for the instrument , on the other hand the other guy is not better or worst because for him playing really fast and and shredding is what makes him feel alive.

  • @TheCreature131 Amen! If you are paying your bills paying guitar the way you want to, who f*ck is anyone else to criticize, right? If you can manage to have people around the world still debating the merits of your guitar playing *30 years after you start your career*, I think you can safely say "mission accomplished". I'm not a big Wingie fan, but you can't dis the man.

  • @getkristan yes you can...

  • @dannon2010 Well.. you can say what you want. But I have to ask, what would you think if someone came up to you and said "I think your haircut is shit"? Or "I think your vocabulary is too limited. You should talk differently"? Whothefuk cares what someone else says about what you do. Yngwie does what he loves to do and gets paid a lot of money for it. How close are *you* to that goal? I don't love his playing. He probably wouldn't love mine either, but I doubt he would dis me.

  • @getkristan yeah, why wouldn't he dis you? He said Jimi Hendrix was "noise". You give the man FAR too much credit.

  • @dannon2010 Yah ok. He is a jerk. But lots of people are jerks. Some of them are talented successful jerks. I'm just not going to sit and say that someone who has lived a life as a successful guitarist and definitely has his chapter in "The Big Book of Guitar Playing" is a bad player or should do things any differently than he does. I also dont think he is God. He is a shredder who made it and is *still* making it. Good on him.

  • @getkristan I think we're talking about two different things. I couldn't care less if someone makes a living, or has been "successful". Good for him. Doesn't make him any less of a dipshit. Watch this, and tell me if this guy isn't a complete fool, a parody of himself, then we will go our separate ways. /watch?v=Rpx0JAwph_c

  • @getkristan then this CRAP...jeeze. What an idiot. /watch?v=95SYIpB0njQ

  • Yngwie Malmsteen way better

  • japan has some really good rock bands no shit

  • buddy guy still kicks ass

  • @ 0:42" Real Men Play Real Marshalls - but do they play in red heels?

  • couldn't tell the difference...

  • *Yngwie malmsteen talks about making music* that's funny. since when did yngwie start to make music?

  • @wideman0008 yea he olny covers but he change them alot makes em better moust of the time but here he's talking the dio's words

  • @wideman0008 When he first picked up a strat.

  • Yngwie Malmsteen Is a fuckin guitar God ... in every fuckin point of view ... haters go fuck ur self

  • Now it's the amateuer's turn.

  • Guitariste amateur ou pas, un fan d'Yngwie est forcément un monstre.

  • Technical guitarist, musically not.

  • @lucasbretels what a moron. Would you call Mozart or Paganini a fake musicians?

  • @lucasbretels u don;t like it, but he can be musical....certainly takes a lot more brain power than it does to play blues, which i like by the way, but it is very simple and easy....listen to majestic blue, or crying

  • @lucasbretels Why? Because he's not playing 2 notes per beat? lol. I sense a lot of music there, just because you guys can't feel it from some fast scale shredding doesn't mean it's not there, music doesn't have to be slow to have soul, otherwise, govan would be so much fucked up.

  • @pepectm Hi Pepe, He and some other shredders plays only "horizontally" the guitar, no depth (vertical way dimension), speed only and lack on dynamics. It is my opinion, so it has to be respected too.

Thank you for your post, regards, Lucas

  • WHY NO NAME ON THE AMATEUR PLAYER?

  • the ''amateur'' guitarist is as good as yngwie!!

  • amateur guitarrist = Paul Gilbert

  • @LucasDarknness yeah especially him god and u know what steve vai too and John Petrucci

  • @jimbob32292 yes

  • similar to people who thinks their sex is better the faster they come...

  • it's all a bit samey. Where is the groove ?

  • I notice the only Yngwie haters are the ones who can't play his shit. And this shit is probably fake. If you can play like him then you would be famous not working at your loser job. Go practice motherfuckers!

  • @909830 there are thousands of guys that can play better than him and are not famous...

  • Oh yes but he was the first, copy cat and ape can do. just a matter of practice.

  • the voice in the end is creepy :/

  • excellent technique, sound and speed. the soloing actually got better as it progressed as far as being musical, but for me this kind of shredding lacks in dynamics and feel. perhaps more emphasis on styling with legato and staccato mixed with varied muted palming and varied volumes would have made this really stand out. hats off to the speed and technique!

  • malmsteen has his head stuck up his own ass. amazing player, shit person.

  • Malmsteen is one of the most influentials guitarist to have ever graced this planet, he modernized the forms of neo classical metal that you hear being emulated today. I wouldnt be afraid to bet that the guitarist(s) that you are saying blows yngwie away were heavily influenced by his work and teachings somewhere in their learning process growing up. Musicians dont think of it in the way as in competition and not showing respect for other players. The compliment and respect everyones chops.

  • As well as amazing speed, Yngwie has an awesome tone and lovely vibrato which in my opinion sets him apart from most. Absolute legend!

  • @TheSutcliffeBrothers Totally agree.... he has a wonderful tone and a perfect degree of distortion .... and that's the kind of sound that blows away everything else. The "amateur" in the video plays very very well and very fast. But the tone... awful.

I totally love two guitarists: Malmsteen and Knopfler, and both have a distinctive sound.

  • amateur guitarist ?!?!?!?!? hes fucking beast

  • @bennyboi56: The definition of amateur has nothing to do with skill. A professional (one who makes money off his work) can be infinitely less skilled than an amateur (who just does it for fun/in their free time or merely haven't had a breakthrough yet)...

  • Comment removed

  • Amateur dude needs to tune his guitar. He's off-key for much of this.

  • Haters and fan-boys can say what they will about Yngwie; I used to dig him a lot back when I was in high school and then moved on to other things. At the end of the day though, Yngwie was doing stuff on the guitar that was unprecedented in his respective time (i.e. 30 years ago) and influenced countless guitarists currently heralded as greats and gurus. By today's standards he may not be too much of a threat when compared to contemporaries, but give credit where it's due!

  • lol, can't thell the difference between those 2, but omfg sounds like a fucki bitch gettin raped

AWSOME GOTTA SAY SHREDDING IS AMAZING

  • I am 100% sure that YJM haters are all below 20 years old.. none of them really heard about YJM while he was the first to play this style of music.. now as many many kids can play faster than him u think that he sucks... simply.. u missed a generation so u better shut up YJM haters. Note: I am not a YJM fan but I do respect him as a "One of a kind" musician !

  • @mockbel

Sorry, dude. You theory of YJM haters all being under the age of 20 is sadly mistaken. I'll be 45 next month, and I am still of the opinion that his playing is unfathomably boring and that he, personally, is a complete tool-shed.

  • @67goldtops Did I ever hear about u? Or you're just another illustrious anonymus? Your opinion means nothing... hope you get it...

  • Comment removed

  • @67goldtops I search whatever I consider, I don't take advices from a mummy and if you want to prove something, get a guitar in your sandy hand and show me what you are capable of. And think about it... seeing is not knowing or understanding... so you just saw some pleople, have nothing to do with them. By the way, you're on youtube too, probably trying to get a life. Still better to be me... sry.

  • @magaroiu

    "pleople"

    What are "pleople?"

"Seeing is not knowing or understanding..."

Perhaps that's true. However, you've not even the experience by which you'd know. If you had, you'd know the final judgement in a player is in his/her ability to produce emotion on the part of the listener. So "understanding" doesn't even enter the conversation, especially with the players you worship. Now, I reiterate...Get back to your Adele covers, you slack-jawed clown.

  • @67goldtops oh,come on, you feel nothing when YM plays the guitar? Maybe you're really lobotomised. And... if you are not able to understand a mistype you're not worth to converse with. Think about it... I am speaking your language while you don't speak mine.., so suck me and suck Adele, you stupid, one sided, dumb asshole.

  • Comment removed

  • @67goldtops You should seek professional help, buddy. I think your problem is epidemic. You suffer a not so rare disorder... something makes you feel you worth something. I have bad news for you. You don't! Even if you were the very first seeing Malmsteen playing. And now, like a last favor, please don't bother responding. I'll do the same. Have a nice day!

  • @magaroiu

"Something makes you feel you worth something."

Whatever you say, Shakespeare! Get back to me when you can speak English. Have a nice day too!

  • @67goldtops Shall I wait for you to speak Hungarian, Romanian and Spanish? At least at the level of my poor English? Be Happy !

  • @magaroiu

Shall I wait for you to speak Korean or Japanese? What, you think YOU'RE the only person to speak more than one language?? Too funny. Get back to your third world culture, bad clothes, and you garbage Eastern European existence. You're trash. In the meantime, I hope, for your sake, that your taste in music improves.

  • @67goldtops Nothing to say about your culture, shall I name it Mcdonald's culture? Dude, your decadent world is famous by it's lack of culture... And yes, I am capable of learning Korean or Japanese, but you can't learn anything. Though it would be great if you'd learn your place. So, get back and clean up the fast-food and eat your burgers and gain overweight (you already have 40kg more than the normal). Look into the mirror... trash is what you see there.

  • @magaroiu

That's the best you can do? Insulting McDonald's? HAHA!! What a pathetic lack of originality & imagination. No wonder you're an Yngwie worshipper. You're perfect for each other. Meanwhile, ever visit NAPA Valley? Ever go to New Orleans for Jazz Fest? You HAVE heard of Jazz, right? In case you're wondering, it was invented in The U.S.A. Ever hike the Na Pali Coast? Ever see a show on Broadway? Ever visit Yosemite? On & on. Meanwhile, E Europe's chief export is girls for porn.

  • @magaroiu Malmsteen plays the same puerile crap every time. No feeling at all.

  • @67goldtops Full respect...

  • Look, he likes to shred.. some people cant shred at all.

Shredding is a skill and requires a great amount of musical expertise and scale knowledge.

He is a great musician, with a great skill that only a TRUE GUITARIST can understand..

  • Malmsteen kills guys like Synyster Gates and those idiots from Slipknot

  • yeah sure malsteen suck... guy who have created numerous notes . songs style etc and etc.. yup he sucks big time..

  • @sogandik you can't create a note, anyone can write a song, whether its a good song or not is something eles, malmsteen just shreds his tits off 24/7 and has no melody whatsoever,, check out real guitarists like Guthrie Govan and such,, they can shred as just as much, but they try and keep some music in there

  • @Dippaification i understand what you are trying to say. and yeah Guthrie got some mad skill. . but as a musician you cant hate and say malmsteen is boring its his style. and no melody. come one every music has its own melody and rhythm. even a mash between 2 tin can . can have melodies and tone.but the only diferences is the taste for each person. but if you wanna change and find a substitute. try looking up kelly simonz.

  • DGMW, I love Yngwie, but ability and virtuosity can only carry you so far.

  • YJM: Amazing guitar technique? Yes Amazing songwriter? No

  • Dont get me wrong. This guy is a fucking virtouso, but as a musician, he fucking sucks cock. But music never was his goal. He only likes showing off

  • *why are even on his video?

  • Ok everytime I go on a guitar video, whether it be Buckethead, Steve Vai, Yngwie, Jimi Hendrix, or even Paul Gilbert, there's always someone that says the guitarist sucks. If you don't like the guitarist, are you even on his video? Regardless of how Yngwie plays, if you don't like him then don't listen to him. He is a great guitarist, and I'm not a fan of him, but the music he plays is amazing. If you don't like him then don't listen to him, no one is forcing you to anyway.

  • if i steal a lick from yngwie, but he had stolen it from mozart etc. who wins?

  • @abcDiogo123 that's how art works dude.

  • where is the amateur guitarist?

  • Amateur guitarrist my eggs. u-u

  • to all YJM haters: Yngwie has been featured numerous times on the most heralded guitar publications in the world.

but the people who run those mags know nothing; they're stupid and all this time they have been mistaken about malmsteen and his OBVIOUS lack of talent, and he has deceived them all for 27 years.

you have finally convinced me with your 'yngwie sucks' comments.

thank you for showing me the light

  • @redneckblacklabel Not disagreeing (Yngwie is an amazing guitarist!), but they also give accolades to people like EVH, Angus Young, and Slash. Those 3 are probably the 3 most overrated guitarists of all time, and they constantly get rewarded, gracing magazine covers and what not...Yet, they aren't as ridiculously skilled as people make it out to be.

  • @redneckblacklabel Theyll publicate whatever sells. Ywngwie sucks!

  • @jh78ghbn56 Publicate is a word now?

  • @Coaler73 Yes... Publicate is a word. It's very uncommon though, some spell checkers still don't see it as a word. But some dictionaries have it. Words go from Thought, to popularity, to dictionary, then to spell checker. This is complicated and you don't care at all. lol

  • @redneckblacklabel that is funny.

  • @redneckblacklabel I hope that was sarcasm...

  • @redneckblacklabel this is actually true! He can sure play a guitar. He can't play music

  • @kokkinoskoufitsa3 I'm sure if you slowed it down to about 1 billionth the speed it would sound musical. technical for sure but just sounds like a buzzing bee

  • @redneckblacklabel damn straight, YJM is fucking awesome, have not listened to him much in the past few years but just this week thrashed a few of his albums and REALLY listened to them, he is amazing, I love his work and his playing

  • @redneckblacklabel Don't think they mean technically..

  • @redneckblacklabel

Yes they are all wrong, and you are right. We know.Sure.Oh BTW Yngwie sucks.

  • @redneckblacklabel I think the hate comes from people actually hating on the, "fast playing = good guitarist," mindset. Like Yngwie is very fast and precise, but what makes him pro is his unique phrasing. That's why you can differentiate his playing from other fast guitarists who use a lot of sweep picking, and shred techs in classical scales. Is he the best? No I don't think so. Is he a beast? Fuck yes.

  • guitar for the practicing musician and he's on the cover! LOL!

  • My collection of classical music is HUGE! Again I READ WHAT YOU SAID! Yngwie HAS passed Hendrix on everything. Hendrix has stole many of BLUES riffs..Watch his interviews.. Blues has been around alot longer than Hendrix! But yet you don't seem to get that...Do you think Hendrix invented Blues style guitar with the same ole boring cheesy ass riffs?

  • @kotagrey Next time reply to me, rather then posting normally so I won't see your comment in my notifications. Clearly you don't have a huge classical collection if you can't tell what Yngwie is doing with Bach's work. And now you're trying to accuse Hendrix of stealing blues riffs? This is just desperate...

  • @MunisAwesome I will reply here! I don't recall in my collection of Bach a song called Queen is in love.. Or I'll see the light tonight? Next time you want to call someone a shit musician keep it to yourself! No your Incompetent "shit musician" words are desperate! And yes.. Hendrix has used riffs from others! Maybe there's other composers you would like to accuse Yngwie of ripping off.. From say the Medieval era or maybe the Renaissance,Baroque era's?

  • @kotagrey Oh god... Again you didn't even read my comments properly... Saying he's a shit musician is not desperate, It's an opinion. Saying Hendrix is a thief is a desperate and factual error. And again if you had chosen to read all my comments properly, You'd know that Yngwie is ripping parts out of different compositions and then putting em together. And since you claim to be a classical fan, Then you should know he steals arpeggios and progressions from baroque/romantic eras.

  • @MunisAwesome LOL!!

  • @kotagrey Finally, You ran out of lies to rant about.

  • @MunisAwesome YOU are the liar! I'm still waiting to see this list...

  • @kotagrey Wow, I've already replied and explained that whole list thing. It's obvious that you're completely ignorant and have been skimming my comments and not properly reading my explanations of examples.

  • Does anyone what brand of guitar at 0:56

  • eurasian leprosy bear says very very fast

  • Damn, to be able to jam with yngwie...... must be asian

  • Does anyone know what the black guitar is at 1:48

  • Hey MinusAwesome, I just checked out your page with all your music likes... You Don't think those artists copied anyone? But yet you wat to talk shit about Yngwie? If he stole anything at least it was from music from 100's of years ago and not last year like the music on your list...

Yes, even your Hendrix copied blues scales... Oh... And the Beatles!

  • @kotagrey Hendrix create his own music, Everyone strummed before he was around. There's a difference between being influenced by others and then stealing other people's music without even making it your own style of music. Next time reply to my comment rather posting a comment where I won't be notified.

  • What all that shit, about Malmsteen being a bad musician?

You people keep talking and talking, well I bet none of you guys has ever heard his early stuff!!! 4/4 of his first albums are epic, not to mention his amazing work with Vescera (you've got to love seventh sign) and Leven.

Please just listen to his work before you copy/paste a million-times-said hating comment

  • Malmsteen is truly awesome at what he does and is far and away the greatest pioneer at what we now call neo-classical shred. He took what guys like Blackmore and Roth were doing and ramped it up to ludicrous levels of insanity and technique. However, I, too, like others here, wish he would explore some other guitar flavours in his music ... and collaborate and hire a producer! Guy's incredible, but he also is in a rut (he disagrees) and needs to expand his vocabulary. Still, one of the greats.

  • Malmsteen is a great guitarist. Personally I prefer his slowe phrases, passages and songs, but I see, how the shredding impresses guitarists. And to all who say, that his music is "soulless" or "not musical" check out the Concerto Suite album or the Angels of Love album

  • @jingeshan24 True but you must understand that most of today's musicians with an opinion only think you're good if you can play 100 notes per second til the next musician comes along who wants you to play with 10 bass drums before he could consider you good enough. My thing is if you could play me at least three chords, you go ahead & criticize me all you want & I'll listen to you cos you may know something I don't.

  • Real men play Marshalls? Hey! So does Yngwie!

  • Good lord all you dumb asses arguing about how good or bad he is, ANYONE who can move their damn fingers that fast is HOT SHIT!!

  • y r the top comments that malmsteen sucks? ppl only say cuz he shreds, theres still melodies in there, so fuck off, play me something like that that u actually rote, rather than covered, then ill consider ur opinion

  • @scorpionz44 Haha. He didnt write any of it. He plays staright arppegios and and scales. That is it. He breaks them up from time t otime. But rarely. He has talent. But cant write anything truelly orginal. Good guitarist. Shit musician. Or cant you read what @MunisAwsome wrote.

  • @scorpionz44 listen to this crap! sure, he jammed out some modes at lightspeed and ended up with some neo-classical solos. he is technically brilliant. but he is so bloody unrestrained. too much widdly widdly. not enough taste and soul. empty, that's what this is

  • @scorpionz44 also, to effectively say you'll only consider an opinion on malmsteen and that kind of music as long as it comes from malmsteen or that kind of musician (use the word sparingly in this case) is moronic

  • @scorpionz44 That's because he is technically very good, but that dosesn't translate into very listenable music. Malmsteen and a lot of the shredders seem to forget that most people don't care or know about how technically good they are. Therefore they will remain on the side-lines as they have for the last 25 years, until they can make something that is both technically good and equally listenable for the guy on the street. They are just kidding themselves until they make that jump

  • @Thespeakerofmanytru8 Why drive a formula 1 car when a prosche can give you so much safety style and comfort? Because SPEED gives people a hard-on. I live to shred and love listening to it. And never forget, just like a formula 1 car, shredding requires great control and feeling in order to keep it going properly. That is the appeal.

  • @scorpionz44 How about you learn proper grammar. Then I'll consider your opinion.

  • @scorpionz44 I say I'm not a fan of him cuz he's so boring to listen to..

It's the same thing all over again, and if you know how to play like this, you don't have to write the things he does, just improvise and play all over the place.

That's Malmsteen according to me, but He's still incredibly technically skilled.

Also he is a douche as person.

  • @scorpionz44 When you can write that sentence with proper grammar and spelling, I'll consider your opinion.

  • what picture is the thumbnail from?

  • ok ok, my ignorance, ok, get your guitar or any instrument and develop better music than him... i´m sure anyone saying he´s not a great musician is jealousy because of another idol. a guy that create the patterns he created on guitar is not a great musician? a guy that shows the world the guitar can do the things he do is not a great musician?? like michael angelo said "i´ve never seen a real shred guitarrist saying 'speed sucks, man!'", i know u can´t shred, man!

  • @rafaliu011 Totally agree with you (I guess my "ignorance" is blinding me too) Lol

  • @rafaliu011 of course a real shred guitarist wouldn't say 'speed sucks'

if he believed that he wouldn't be a shred guitarist

    so don't mean anything

  • everybody here listen it: malmsteen, beside batio, is the line between the possible and the impossible to a human playing a guitar! then stop repeating that "as a musician hiohoifnbfobm dfbpimfboi foimnf and every shit". have you ever carried the line of the impossible to anywhere? i thing u havent. then get your guitar and do it better! (or find someone in youtube playing every song of them without sounding staccato!)

  • Yngwie is a great neo-classical guitar player but he has cornered himself too deep in the genre to where he never shines in another realm,he really needs to showcase a different style,I mean "good grief man"he's been playing the same redundant style for over 30 years this is why blues musician's end up loosing interest too, being to attached to one style and detached from the reality that their music has grown stale. It's not writer' block it's hardheaded ego block.

  • Malmsteen lacks of passion? Let's hear masterpiece like Save our Love, Like an Angel, Heavy Heart or Dreaming (Tell Me)! Or listen to the album Eclipse!

One of the most beautiful vibrato and a crystal technique!

It's always the same story "It's so fast, speed..no passion oh..!" or I should say there are the same faggots in every Malmsteen's video.

  • Malmsteen is a master ... no doubt ... but his music seems to lack real passion ... it seem to have flash but no fire ... now look at SRV ... different style... agreed, but his playing is straight from his soul ... very powerful and moving ... just an opinion.

  • MALMSTEEN IS BEST,,,,,PURE FEELING.

  • Comment removed

  • Yngwie Malmsteen, Fucking skilled guitarist. But shit musician in my opinion
