Anthropogenic Global Warming is caused by human increases in fossil fuel CO2 PPM from 300 PPM for the last 800,000 years at least to the industrial revolution, to 390 PPM now.

The most important being where and how many temperature polling stations that they have been monitoring in recent years to get theses new 'facts' that you are referencing. The data matches because the sample group has been culled in the last 20 years.
Fact-check a little better. I'm not pro-faux news nor pro-big pollution or worse pro carbon tax schemes, but the 'fact' that the planet is getting warmer is not a 'fact' at all.

@FearEquality He's saying that the little ice age was about to end around the time official temperature records were first being kept. So the rise in temperature may be a mere correlation with industrial boom of coal plants and the end of that small ice age.

It also means that scientists (who discovered these natural changes in climate) can't can't tell the difference between these natural cycles and what's going on now. In other words, Science shows Science is dumb.
It's a great way to boil a complex issue down to meaningless sound bites.
I'm no Fox nut-hugger or anything, but some experts do argue that increased temperature readings are inaccurate. Some of the environments where thermometers have been placed have changed (i.e. locations become more urbanized, which leads to higher temperature) or new factories open up close enough to skew results. As well, measurements of Earth's average temperature today are much more accurate than even 10 years ago, so previous readings could be wrong.
Previous data can indeed be incorrect. These error margins are often compensated for and without. Thermometers are not the only way of measuring temp data either. Dendrochronology is accurate up to certain temps and ice core data is extremely accurate. Also, urban warming appears to be somewhat of a myth when we look at warming trends. The earth warms more at the poles (and at night) than it does in industrialised areas. Anomolies, again, are easy to compensate for in any case.

Global warming may not be real. They have seemed to mess with the numbers as well as not used certain temperature recordings in their data. Even if they didn't, it is nearly impossible to say that global warming in the long run is real. There is even less data that concludes that humans are the reason! However, we do need to get off of fossil fuels for multiple reasons. Also, Fox News is a joke, along with the rest of them!

Temperature fluxes occur in cycles and in a flux pattern going from moderate to extreme. Meaning, just because the average temperature of the world has risen, the entire planet is not effected and also areas of the planet can become actually cooler than they were before. I also would like to point out that weather and climate are not one and the same. You can have a hot climate but this doesn't mean you live in a dry no-rain desert.
Last year, my dad, a Fox "News" viewer, made a sarcastic comment about some of the blizzards up north being caused by global warming. I proceeded to facepalm. He's never actually looked into the issue; he just buys whatever POV Fox posits, because he views them as the only unbiased news outlet. He's an old school republican business owner who doesn't realize how the right wing of this country has dived into the deep end of the batshit insanity pool. It sucks to see this propaganda machine
umm if global warming true then why is America and Europe suffering from the coldest record winter in history? It docent make sense to me that what suppose to cause a warming trend can act has a extreme cooling trend at the same time.

However, when it comes to recognizing reality and differentiating between it and some lurid fantasy that's usually spawned by "faith", the liberal media is the clear choice. Climate changes naturally. Look up the "medieval warm period".

Actually Cenk your data is missing some pretty important factors.
The most important being where and how many temperature polling stations that they have been monitoring in recent years to get theses new 'facts' that you are referencing. The data matches because the sample group has been culled in the last 20 years.
Fact-check a little better. I'm not pro-faux news nor pro-big pollution or worse pro carbon tax schemes, but the 'fact' that the planet is getting warmer is not a 'fact' at all.

I'm no Fox nut-hugger or anything, but some experts do argue that increased temperature readings are inaccurate. Some of the environments where thermometers have been placed have changed (i.e. locations become more urbanized, which leads to higher temperature) or new factories open up close enough to skew results. As well, measurements of Earth's average temperature today are much more accurate than even 10 years ago, so previous readings could be wrong.

Previous data can indeed be incorrect. These error margins are often compensated for and without. Thermometers are not the only way of measuring temp data either. Dendrochronology is accurate up to certain temps and ice core data is extremely accurate. Also, urban warming appears to be somewhat of a myth when we look at warming trends. The earth warms more at the poles (and at night) than it does in industrialised areas. Anomolies, again, are easy to compensate for in any case.

MSNBC doesnt report the facts accuratly. Both networks have partisan contributors and anchors. Keith Olbermann is far more incorrect and annoying than bill oreilly. Oreilly is arrogant but Olbermann is a tool who makes weird faces. Oreilly and Olbermann have opposite views on many things, and both exxagerate facts and polls. IN the past 10 years, 2005 was the warmest year, 2008 was the coldest, 2009 was the 2nd warmest.

I was a over the road truck driver for over a year, and every where you go Fox News will be what's playing, and if you ask if you can change the channel, you will be told that the corporation who owns the premises has "sent a memo only Fox News can be on any television". Global warming may not be real. They have seemed to mess with the numbers as well as not used certain temperature recordings in their data. Even if they didn't, it is nearly impossible to say that global warming in the long run is real. There is even less data that concludes that humans are the reason! However, we do need to get off of fossil fuels for multiple reasons. Also, Fox News is a joke, along with the rest of them!

Go look those quotes up and see what they actually say; they say nothing that indicates any huge conspiracy. Temperature fluxes occur in cycles and in a flux pattern going from moderate to extreme. Meaning, just because the average temperature of the world has risen, the entire planet is not effected and also areas of the planet can become actually cooler than they were before. I also would like to point out that weather and climate are not one and the same. You can have a hot climate but this doesn't mean you live in a dry no-rain desert.
