  • wow never heard of motorcycle boxes thats a good idea. And here in the states if you tried to lane split they would probably try to hit you they have no respect for bikes

  • In Spain they are just starting with those boxes and we only have a few of them around here. Now they were talking about bikes using the bus lane (like its already being done in England) but instead of looking how it works in England they try and make new studies showing the supposed dangers of bikes in the bus lane. The problem is that those "dangers" are car drivers not using their mirrors and indicators, so now we bikers have to pay for car drivers not following the rules.

  • 549cc FTW

  • what u want ???

  • lmao teleported =)

  • I dont know how I got to these videos from watching fist-fights, but this is exponentially more fascinating! Driving there seems so... adventurous lol

  • I totally agree with you. lane splitting saves lives

Besides, any motorcycle, like you said, accelerates faster than a car. So when youre in a bike behind a car... and you have to wait for them to accelerate and youre like half on the throttle half on the brake.... so fuckin annoying

motorcycles of any cc arent cars, and treating them like cars is stupid. even though we use less gas, pollute less, and lighten traffic, we are treated like second-class drivers. Its so annoying

  • glad i don't drive around on those roads i stick to driving in the uk, it lookes chaos

  • what kind of bike are you riding

  • @Dirt3GymkHana2 he has a ninja 650r i think

  • I'm epileptic and the beginning of the video made me die, so now I couldn't watch the rest of the vid... Thanks a lot for that!

    Thankfully I survived !!!

  • Australia, lane splitting illegal, period, not that that stops us :)

  • You're a freaking IDIOTT!!!!!

  • @mrtazman2000 explain what makes him an idiot ?

  • damn i ride in connecticut and i thought that gets hectic...fuckk that hahah

  • hahaha funny dude

  • brave man to ride there period!!!

  • yah, those Taiwanese laws rally affect most of us USA riders. maybe put TAIWAN in your headline so we don't waste our time.

  • @dukk881 and yet usa riders dont put usa in there title how rude

  • @dukk881 Maybe if usa people did the same thing with their video titles then other people would do it too. Geez.

  • @dukk881 The world doesn't end when you leave US borders, it begins. Waste of a continent, should have been left to the natives and mexicans

  • Lane split on a bike under 550cc is legal, but over is not. RETARDED.

  • you're bike runs like a kitteh<3

  • Anyone else get an epileptic fit at the start there?

  • why the h*ll are you in Taiwan???? Get out of there man!!!

  • Wow they have some brains... A 500cc bike will leave most cars (legally) on roads put them up front, but here in the U.S.A. I have yet to see a box but they would be helpful. As for lane splitting when people are stopped go for it just keep an eye out for assholes opening doors exc. As for high speeds go for it at your own risk, like the option in some states for using a helmet.

  • lane splitting is stupid, dangerous, and pointless. just ride 20 feet back, its not gonna kill you, line lane sharing. doing while stopped is smart, but at highway speeds is retarded

  • lane splitting is stupid, dangerous, and pointless. just ride 20 feet back, its not gonna kill you, line lane sharing

  • @ganzeytyler Troll

  • i love lane splitting and thankfully it's legal here in CA..

  • I agree with what your saying about the motorcycle box at traffic lights.

Here in London we have cycle boxes at the front and us motorcyclists ar't exactly allowed to stop there, however police have said to people before that they dont mind people going in there on motorbikes however we should remeber that it is a cyclist box and not cut up and cyclists and if there is no room then we cannot shove them out the way.

All in all we are quite lucky

  • @ anyone i live and ride in the uk i lane split all the time is it ilegel here or am i just being dumb?

PLEASE DONT KILL ME IM CANADIAN!

  • @cockbells UK lane splitting is legal

  • Were you in a tunnel?

  • "every country should have a motorcycle box at the interesction"....

    ontario, did you hear that?!

  • 8:07 near miss? hit?

  • i bet people think ur weird cause of you hand signalling people boxes lol

  • its cultural gap.

the Lawmaker didnt and dont realize the fact

and not attempt to know how making traffic better and safer

just holding a pen ,doing lots retarded paperwork

    and another cultural gap:

some friendly local greet you,and be Described as an retard.

I like riding.and I refuse to obey the nonsense rule:No filtering and stayin' block

however, why don't we respect to other people on the road

and dont let them hate us more.

We riders don't want see that one rotten apple spoils the barrel.

  • What you are saying totally makes sense, I really don't get it... why do law makers want to make the lives of everyone on the road more difficult and more dangerous, are they totally retarded???

  • @jezuz12345 They are jealous because we get to go to the front, so they make laws to stop us.

  • hell yea i fucking hate those biker haters, i would have beat his ass !!!!

  • buy a vfr 400 :)

  • What are you doing there? Assuming you're not Taiwanese and speak English as your native language.

  • FUCK CARS

  • You present very valid points. There are practically no scooters where I live, but I can imagine... Plus, I'm no 'Johnny Law' either. ;)

  • Mordeth i envy you, i live in TX and the roads here are so boring... all we really have is the rocky mountains.i've never left the city on my motorcycle but i have in my mustang cobra... that gets pretty fun.i dont consider my self a biker or a cager, more of a motorhead or speed demon haha.wish i could get the money up to take myself and maybe my bike out to Taiwan.i would take my Cobra but its a muscle car so i dont think it would do to well out there.haha wish you could take a ride in my car

  • de-badge ur bike and put a silencer on ur exhaust and ur problem is solved

  • so... whats the point in having a motorbike if it cant act like a motorbike? you may aswell get a car... stupid rules!

  • a hell of a lot more illegal! ^^

  • I think the U.S. is the same way, where a bike is supposed to "take up" as much room in a lane as a car. It would be nice if we had motorcycle lanes.

  • LMAO!!!! 0:55 Listen to his comment on no headlights! the way he says it is so funny lol

  • @rhider2009 lol you must be a little retarded.

  • @rhider2009 poor you no friends at all mastubates alots hmmmm? Wonder why has to talk about other people to make self feel better?

  • @rhider2009 Ever heard of a vlog you fucknig shithead. YOUR SUPPOSED TOO TALK TO YOURSELF ON A VLOG!!!

  • @rhider2009 ur the reason condoms were invented.

  • hey...you just past my apartment..

  • dam he got out of the car and punched him what the hell was wrong with that guy?

lol Taiwan looks fun to ride a motorcycle or scoot in......everyone's just zipping around the slow cars

  • wow flashy epalepticfit

  • Lawmakers in taiwan are hopeless.

  • london we have boxes for cyclists but scoots and bikes use them anyway. its not illegal to use them either as long as you are before you big white line at the lights.

  • the side by side bike riding has always been illegal in the states, namely because it's unsafe. I think car drivers get mad at motorcyclists for lane splitting because they are just jealous that they have to sit in the traffic and the bike rider is long gone on his way. It just pisses them off.

  • now i know why you have the 250 ninja :p

i'm considering getting a 250 instead of a 600 for my next bike after your comments and vids about 250 s being more fun

  • Taiwan police are fucking useless, they watch tons of incidents and pretend they dont see anything, they spend 85% of their time attending traffic accidents

  • in london we have green boxes at the front of traffic light for pedal bike but not for motorbike

  • wtf i dont get a shit of any laws in china in sweden there are no fucking box motorbikes can drive between cars but there is no boxes lol and everyone drives so good at sweden and its kinda harder to get licence in sweden than china or usa

  • The up-loader/rider makes a lot of sense.

  • i'm in america. a cop told me that there is no law prohibitting any vehicle from driving in any lane going the right direction. every time the traffic pile up sine, i've been taking the emergency lane on my bike. in the last 2 years i passed a little more than a dozen cops who don't seem to have a problem with me taking the emergency lane

  • No way did you lose topic! Your vids are great to watch because its great to listen and watch a western dude get around so easily in an asian country and not like a tourist. I vote for more vids just about traffic/bikes/cars and how that fits in in their culture. Your vids are hilarious and make great watching. Thanks :]

  • Agreed.

  • i want motorcycle boxes in Australia.

  • I'm an Aussie living in Perth, and I have to say that even though we don't have MC boxes, it doesn't matter. Bikes and scooters still make their way to the front anyway.

I like it that way. It shows our cops aren't that tight-arsed yet (the operative word there being yet lol)

  • Yeah, youre right. But I wish there was a designated box for it. I guess there arent enough motorcycles and scooters in my town/australia.

  • Cops won't care if you filter or not. Their main issue is if you rip through traffic being stupid. I reckon enjoying a bike is one thing, but being an idiot is another. If you're riding can cause injury or damage to another person or their property, then you get what you deserve.

And that goes for me as well, when I get my bike in a month or so and eventually start to be a fool on it :-p

  • @1thinkexist1 my dad was sitting at a set of lights in perth in a marked federal police car when a girl on a scooter was on her phone, at the same time another girl ran a red light and then a guy changed lanes without indicating, at the same set of lights. lol

  • here in California we dont have any of those laws, or a motorcycle stopping box.. what i hate is the mirror law. i dont even use my mirrors, i turn my head!! mirrors makes it a bit more scary when lane splitting

  • i watched your videos and im starting to think that taiwan rules!!!!!:P

  • @jock0man just baught 1 way ticket to Taipei im also thinkin taiwan rules gonna go give it a try. the us isnt goin anywhere good

  • I'd kick that guys ass.

  • i would use like the gloves with the carbon fiber and smash the guys window in or something :)

  • hell yea, fuck him up real good too. Even if I wasn't on the bike.

  • I reference to 5:43

  • "he like fuckin teleported out of there" lol

  • The speed limits are painted on the ground ... that's cool :)

  • the conversation probably went something like this:

politician #1: "since people are already riding motorcycles on the highways, let's just legalize it...."

politician #2: "wait, the reason we didn't allow them to ride on the highways was because blah blah blah...."

politician #3: "yeah ok, let's draft some condition and new licensing requirements...."

    politician #1: "that's just stupid...."

*another wrestling brawl in the taiwanese legislature*

    politician #2: "yay, I win!"

    *stupid law passed*

  • There are ALOT of scooters in that city!!

  • what are sliders?

  • sliders, also known as "pucks" are like skids that you put on the side of your bike to protect it if/when it gets dropped or otherwise goes down (due to a crash). They're either metal or of a "hockey puck" type material. They can save you some big bucks in the event of a crash.

  • I agreed with everything you said...and I don't even ride a motorcycle

  • me too!

  • Id lik someone who thought up these laws to explain what the hell the difference is from a bike below 550cc to one above. besides acceleration and all, they can all be roughly the same size. so whats the problem?

  • You talk with your hands a lot, I bet all these people driving around you think you're crazy. :P

  • Lol I want a motorbike but I'm afraid some ass will bump me

  • They probably will, but you shouldnt let that put you off. Biking is GREAT fun!!!! Just use a bit of common sence and u'll be fine :)

  • OR some faggot will come up and punch you. if i was there i too would fucking whoop that nikkas ass.

  • "stopped short of the box and got rammed from behind" sexy or not? you decide

  • in canada were aloud to have bikes beside each other. we do have lane spilting

  • actually i findit amusing how you told your plans for the evening XD also i have to agree with what you said

    greez

  • This may seem stupid, but what bike's are safer, the 125's or the big boys?

  • ofcourse smaller bikes are safer, but it's more about the rider than the actual bike. a 600cc can break the speed limit without you even leaving first gear whereas a 125cc a normal one can hardly break the speed limit going flat out (unless it's a race replica 2stroker ;))

  • well my m8 rides a 650 and i done my cbt not that long ago so obviously i can only get a 125.. (brit) but he has mentioned that if you have a powerfull bike, then you have the power to get out of the way quickly or avoid things..wheras a 125's acceleration isn't all that.. i want to get a honda xr or even a city fly hehe. good fuel consumption :)

  • Also a Brit with only a CBT here.. MZ ETZ 125... Even a 125 can get out of the way quickly if you know how to ride :P but it's more about having the stopping power (I've nearly been involved in 2 crashes, started riding only a few months ago and i wear bright clothing, this is from people pulling out infront of me) Those are pretty looking bikes.. Enjoy whichever you buy :P I'm getting my full license and getting a Ninja 250R this year hopefully.

  • yeh car drivers are thick as shit, especially woman in the range rovers. I drive a car, but i look out for bikes, just because they cut infront and skip traffic. thats the point of them. think of the sacrifice they make just to ride one. message to car drivers, if your pulling out look look look look look and look again. yeh i need a bike for colledge since theres no parking for cars...

  • I wouldn't say it's cutting in and not all riders do it.. my father wouldn't dream of cutting infront of traffic, I do on a daily basis however. But props to you for deciding to get one! Just be defensive :P

  • well yeh its not really cutting in since once they get in front of you in heavy traffic, you won't seet them again lol! It's just a shame their so expensive...well i think they are....

  • something in between because a 125 may not have the acceleration to avoid an accident on a highway. But a 1000 or 1400cc supersport bike may have to much power for a new rider

  • great video i fully agree with lane splitting, in MA, USA lane splittin is still illegal.. stupidddd and the rear end thing at a light.. seen it..

  • teleported lol

    true though

  • scooter in canada is 2 scooter per lane but otherwise you have to drive liek a car

  • That is a stupid fucking law!!!

Surly allowing more powerfull bikes to split lanes is more sensible and "safer"

  • mispelled every fucking word, lol but i ment to say is lane splitting allowed in New york?

  • hey is lain splitting alowed in the us like newyork

  • As i said im only a young guy from Greece 19yo and never had an accident driving a bike everyday (i own a car too), when road accidents are killing people like flies all over the world especially motorcyclists.. People are so stupid on a wheel.... Keep making those vids ;)

  • Thanks for making those vids, 2 years ago i saw your video how to drive a motorcycle and just wanted to get one badly, I got an Aprilia RS125 2 stroke, which is pretty good im only 19 (allthough i already want a bigger one). But what i want to thank you about is the fact that my whole view on driving changed because of you.. I was never a bad driver, but when I started watching your vids i learned "HOW TO THINK" when ON a bike.. which is more than what to do or what not to..

  • Wow, you should take this video and show the Law makers of Taiwan, your arguments make sense, its a law thats dangerous and illogical.

But i would probably take out the parts that i say i dont follow that law.

    Great video

  • i wish new zealand had motorbike blocks, but theres not enough motorcyclists here i guess

  • Yes, he lives in Taiwan.

  • am assuming it rains in Taiwan...how do u get around when it rains

  • It rains all the time. Its like vietnam

  • The UK has a similar box system. The difference is only cyclists can use it. So a cyclist can filter to the front, stop in the box then all the cars get stuck behind the cyclist happily pottering along at 5mph until they move over (in a multi lane system it may be near impossible to over take them) it makes filtering harder for motorcyclists. And it wears your clutch out more. I don't know why cyclists (who have no training, insurance, pay no road tax etc) get these privileges on UK roads.

  • In America it is quite similar. It boils my blood when bicyclists have more rights then motorcyclists. They don't have to obey traffic laws, stop at red lights, or have to move over for cars behind them. And these pricks don't pay insurance, taxes for the roads, they don't even have a license plates. So when they bitch about not having a bike lane i tell them to get licenses plate and pay their admission fee like everyone else.

  • In England they're meant to obey traffic laws, but they seldom do. If they see a red light they'll hop on the pavement to go round it. They are not allowed to cycle on the pavement but no one ever stops them, failing that they just go through it and wonder why they get knocked over by traffic coming at them from the side. I nearly got knocked over by a cyclist on the pavement, yelled "get in the road" and I had obscenities shouted at me. Think they own the place.

  • i live in england too.

Cyclists get a bad rep because they have nowhere to go. not allowed on the pavement but car drivers dont look for them or cant wait to pass so it is dangerous to cycle through busy traffic lights, or round large islands with multiple lanes (i did it for years) so they take to the pavement in places (i always slowed down). dont group everyone in the same class...just because one cyclist nearly ran you down doesnt mean i would!

  • If you're on the pavement you should dismount. You are not allowed to cycle (at any speed) on the pavement. Rule 64 of the highway code, check it out. you aren't meant to cycle through red lights, so wait for them to change when it is much safer. I cycle on the road time to time. But driving I tend to notice good cyclists rather than bad ones because of their prevalence. I think that is a shame. Though I think we need to introduce better training for cyclists and make it appealing.

  • cyclists wudnt hav 2 bitch about not having lanes if car drivers cud use their eyes!

a women cut me up yesterday by taking a racing line across an island without checking her right mirror. When i pressed my horn she looked everywhere apart from right mirror (lane that she'd cut into!) With idiots like that on the road who cant be bothered to look b4 they move no wonder cyclists dont wanna ride along with cars.If she cudnt see a bright blue yamaha R1 wot chance has a kid on a mountain bike got?!!

  • awesome camera in helmet!

  • I hope lane splitting will be approved of in Canada and America soon.

  • where do you live? Lane splitting is legal in california :)

  • I think it's Taiwan

  • if only there was more bikers in the us that would be cool

  • hah fun if theres a traffic line a long one you get like 15 and more friends on bikes and only one bike per lane after eachother in the traffic just to annoy people to prove that law is really stupid would be so dam fun dont ya think?

  • it would make sense to drive up to the motorcycle box with your motorcycle than wait behind with the rest of the cars. good stuff

  • I drive a car but at heart am a bike rider (if that makes sense) going to do my CBT soon (in england btw) cars are a waste of space. how many cars do you see with more than one person driving them.. it's a shame and its not the bikes that are dangerous its other people in cars..we ride bikes for fun am I right..?

  • those laws r dum and if some one hit me off my mike id bet the shite out of em

  • even tho thats not smart cause then your not totally innocent and people dont fell sry for you when someone punches ya. Especially the cops.

  • Nice videos....

but people around might think you're nuts talking to yourself.

  • ahh m13 talking to himself its nothing compared against me screaming my brains out in the streets ( ya boredom sucks)

  • It's so true about the boxes, it makes sense and is practical, plus it would encourage more people to use small vehicals like bikes, and that would mean less traffic!

  • I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. you da man.

  • Ah, I loved it. "The light turns green, and hes just fuckin teleported outta there"

  • lol, this makes me want to go play GTA IV and be an asshole on a motorcycle lmao!

  • what's a 500cc?

  • cubic centermeters -Known as the displacment on a bike

  • Dude, you got some great points, your vids will change the opinions of many, and btw if yourso hungry eat some flippin mcdonalds..... lol jk what ever man. l8er. ( my prfile is forzadrifter63, this is my brothers. )

  • In Germany we don't have those problems jet. There are no boxes^^ and its allowed to drive ahead to the cars on a traffic light. But I made also a bad expirience with some stupit car driver. That ass drove 3 km behind me, after the traffic light and was honking. If some guy to attack me I would punch back with my nice carbon bike gloves!

  • wow that stupied for them to make a law like that mostly all motorcyclers are faster then cars so we need that box! lol!

  • Yeah, in my state (U.S.) we aren't allowed to filter or lane split in any way. Therefore, I try to avoid traffic on my motorcycle, and generally stick to two lane curvy backroads.

  • In California u can lane split, no problem at all.

  • The western world doesnt have motorcycle boxes because there aren´t nearly as many motorcycles on the road. People in the states don´t generally use them for commuting. Where I live in south america is totally different. The motos far outnumber the cars and if motos didn´t lane shift then the traffic jams would be unbelievable.

  • How u ended up in taiwan?

  • I have a vid called Why Taiwan....also you could check my forum for this question: m13online. com

  • alright, i'll check it out

  • we have an imaginary motorcycle box at the front of a lane in Australia. and since i seen police do lane splits on bikes i do it too, but we are not allowed to cross over the solid white line at the front but hey if you dont get caught its not illegal hahaha

  • Interesting. I've never seen a motorcycle box before (we don't have them). If we did have them I'm sure the cars would be in them. Here lane splitting is technically illegal although most motorcycles do it. It is true what you say about that the bike is gone and 100m up the road before the cars get it out of 1st gear. For the record I have seen cars change lanes in bumper to bumper traffic though (rare but happens)

And the camera angle looked fine in this video. I have the same problem with mine.

  • Are those laws enforced?

  • Damn this guy gets around... Is he asian..

  • I agree fully. Here in the states, or at least my neck of the woods, lane filtering is illegal and inefficient. When I ride I make careful use of the lane sharing due to the moronic cagers out there who cannot deal with it. I wish we had a motorcycle box for us scooter drivers, it would make things easier for all.

  • i like the box idea.. and lane splitting should be legal everywhere

  • dam... scooter city lol... wat u doin in taiwan anyways?

  • you have a car!?

  • Yes, do a search for swift and mordeth13. You should find some of my car vids.

  • dude, I love your view points in all your vids! People don't realize how expensive it is for a bike to just fall over. A gave a bitch a ride on my RC51 and as I was getting the kickstand down, she just jumps off and made me dump it in my garage! I didn't know about "motorcycle boxes" before this vid! I'm gonna get some spray paint and make em all over Minneapolis MN!!!

  • You shouldn't put your kickstand down BEFORE a passenger gets off....hehe. But I guess you know that now. The boxes are intelligent. The west needs them.

  • I like to put the kickstand down, as a safety measure so if I lose balance it will save me from dropping it. But yeah dude.....I guess I should lay down the law of being a passenger, BEFORE I give chicks a ride......hmmmm? pretty sure I was thinking with the wrong head!!! NO time to talk!! Must give ride to get ridden! LOL!

  • lol nice

  • haha, need ass.... no time for safety lecture....Oh SHIT MY BIKE!!!!

  • plus+1

  • i've seen a guy roll down the windows and just flip shit at a biker for lane splitting. i live in calgary.. people are pretty good about traffic laws..

  • You live in Calgary Alberta Canada. I also do sweet.

  • Gonna have to say I agree with all of this. Car drivers are probably just jealous we 'get to' have preference on the road in the sense that we can just choose to teleport to the front of the queue. It totally rules, and the jealousy is warranted. :)

  • Sadly, in the US as of July 25th, the only state where you can legally (notice I said "legally" =) lanesplit is California. Most cops I know told me "unofficially", that they wouldn't ticket you for lane splitting unless you caused an accident or property damage, then it would be your fault for "Violating the vehicle and traffic laws".

I like that Motorcycle Box idea too, but I think too many jerks in boxes would take it.

  • Yeah, speaking of lanechanging in US in traffic... I always thought those people who cut in between were assholes because they were too lazy to wait. But i see your point now!

  • i need to know what kind of camera u running?
