  • The days run away like horses over the Hill. this is a sentence from Bukowski.

  • Wish they'd dust this one off every now and again...

  • U2 wrote "Miami"

  • i love the bass on this song

  • You hold onto something so tight, you've already lost it! U2 always the best!!!

  • This is a classic. The lyrics are very meaningful.

  • make that Bukowski, I'm a bit weary right now....finger slipped.

  • This song is about Bukoski.

  • He quit smoking cigs about 8 yrs ago dumb sh*t.

  • I'm pretty sure he still smokes stogies. Killer concert, in any case.

  • no offence man, but i really don't think he did.

    Paul Mc Guiness 2007,

"When we started off Adam and I were the only two who smoked, now we're the only two who don't"

  • Well he is it isn't in public.

  • Why you calling someone a dunb shit fot not knowing Bono doesn't smoke anymore?? What you stalking the man?

  • he still smokes...

  • no he doesnt. He quit around 97 because he realized his voice was turning to shyte.

  • Yes he stopped for a while after Sarajevo show, but then he began to smoke again, he just smokes less than in 90's and only in private.

  • ahh i see. well thats pretty dumb, considering his voice IS turning bad. Hopefully it'll be better next tour!

  • On 5th leg of Vertigo tour his voice was very strong, many people say that best since Zoo TV Tour. And he has proved it, have you ever heard him holding some note for 8 seconds like he did on 5th leg of Vertigo tour in Beautiful Day?, also his falsetto was very good, check out vertigo with snippet Highway To Hell, or Mysterious Ways..

  • Was just a wee little boy while i was at this show! On our way to the show we were turning into the main road leading to Football Park (now AAMI Stadium) and we got cut off by the band. They were being escourted by Police to the show! Anyway, I never thought i would be seeing videos of this concert so cheers Oskikalicante!!!

  • "Dirty Day" is the standout track from the Sydney DVD and is itself the needle in the Zooropa record.

Vertigo/Elevation reconnected U2 with its audience, while not doing away with all effects. I'm happy with this more organic approach. But for its time, ZOO-TV was the perfect medium. It was in fact visionary!

  • i must agree zoo tv was better than the vertigo tour by far

  • U2 has always had bad nights. The Vertigo DVD was shot on an exceptionally bad night. It was around the time they stank on the grammy's and even almost canceled the tour. The problem? I think bono through out the back and voice.

  • Bad Night ? With that Electric Co , OOTS , Fly And RTSS ????

  • yes, there are far better shows out there than chicago

  • Certainly in terms of crowd , And all , And there are different epic shows on Vertigo Tour , but still , The Band was on fire on Chicago . In Fact I don't recall any bad night on Vertigo , I remember the non perfect , but Bad ??? No way

  • absolutely, poland, Anaheim, Japan and the like.

Bono should quit the cigarettes so he can sing like this again

  • edge is using the fender here, at the sydney show he used the les paul. neat.

  • ZOO TV WAS GREAT! VERTIGO WAS SHIT!

  • I liked Vertigo, but missing U2`s ZOO TV on concert was like missing woodstock in the 60ies

  • Bullshit , I don't call Elevation , and Vertigo was way superior to it

  • you're right.

  • bon has a problem with the guitar here..

    great video!!

  • Excellent!
