  • The best thing to do with a Biturbo is to take that gawd awful pos DeTamoso creation of an engine out, and put in an Infinity/Nissan V-6 or Mitsubishi V-6 twin turbo. You'll still get the exhaust note and have a highly reliable Maserati Biturbo.

  • sounds a little rough

  • I want one! Theres one for sale near me but this damn economy sucks bawls And I cant make money

  • I too have seen Top Gear. I too realise it is (within limits) a free world.

However, since Top Gear did that Biturbo versus container thing, they lost one more viewer. That was so low, like porn for people without passion. They (the Top Gear crew) should encourage people to do something useful.

Anyone can wreck and destroy something while only a few have knowledge and passion enough to do what you (rpmbiturbo) have done. Good on you! And thanks for sharing the moment!

  • @Maserati420 Eventhough I consider Clarkson a cunt, i can see why they did it. This period was not the best in Maserati history. Look at the prices of these cars - low. This does hoewever make them great value classic cars. i am looking at buying one as well.

  • Adaptronic is the next step

  • Mijn complimenten. Een knap stukje werk.

Krijg die turbo's maar eens aan het draaien.

    Top

  • These Car shows (top gear)must sell.

  • This car is much maligned today and I have seen it on a couple of worst cars of all time lists. It was however, my first car. It had tremendously impressive performance for 1984 and good styling as well. My only complaint was that Maserati used substandard materials for certain components. The window frames rusted and or faded pretty quickly. Today if you see one on a car show it seems it is being destroyed for laughs. The car should be greatful you found it.

  • Indeed. Great job. I, like others of course, *do* know that great feeling of awakening an old sports car after a lengthy "hibernation"...what a feeling.

  • great job

  • That's a great feeling. I've been there.
