Watching your videos helped me get past my recent "I'm gonna chop all my hair off!" phase. Mine is similar to yours and almost as long. I love the red but I'm too scared of henna :-)

@theladymelissa hello, I have a few questions.. So I have hair about 6 inches bellow my shoulders.. How long do I have to wait untill it reaches your length? Also, I see your hair is always wavy, is that natural, or is it from a braid.? Oh and do you use any hair styling tools such as hair straighteners on your hair.? Do you think braids help hair growth?

I cannot tell how fast you will reach your goal, because you are the only one who knows how fast your hair grows...so measure that and than measure how much more inches of growth you have to go and then calculate how fast it will go...my hair is natural straigth,and no, i don't use any hairstraightener because 1. i don't need it 2. any heated device is BAD for your hair! Braiding doesn't help growing, only prevents tangling :)

@ski54ful yes, i do, i hope to one day reach kneelength, but that will take around two more years i think...sigh, one needs a lot of patience :)

@nickierainbow it hasn't really been cut since july 2003 and then it was like chinlength...but i did some trims of course here and there, that was necessary :)

As usual wonderful. how long did you leave your hair in braids and was it damp when you braided it?

@rapunzel19611 i don't really remember, but most of the time, i wash it before going to bed and then braiding it and then i have wonderful waves the next day...:)
