Any band who uses the loud quite loud formula are gonna get compared to my favorite band of all time the pixies , but I really like this band and don't see the similarities, maybe cranberriesish , but thats a good thing.go minipop

100% agree with you. It's actually just the base line, its the exact baseline from "where is my mind?"... can i get some positives on that?

@surfrocksound The beginning is the same exact riff as Where is My Mind. Also, did you hear the bridge!?! Go back in listen to Where is My Mind! This is definitely an homage to The Pixies. I wouldn't say it's a ripoff, but the connection to that song is definitely there.

I think if the Pixies gave a shit about being copied, then Nirvana may not have been around to influence almost every other "alternative" band that came along back then, but I'm not so sure The Pixies can be exclusively credited with pioneering that style (although Courtney and Kurt acknowldge Teen Spirit was a blatent Pixies rip).

One other thing, I really don't hear much of a simularity between "Where Is My Mind?" and "Like I Do", but I'll give 'em both another listen for the Hell of it.
