Don't take this badly, but you need to work a little bit on muting the strings (or play this version other way), it kinda sounds messy. But i liked it, i might try to learn dance of maya this way on my bass ;)
Some of the arpeggios I found impossible to play with the bass, so I had to break them up , with some of the notes in the backing track and the other notes played against that . Without the backing track I wouldn't have been able to play all the arpeggios . If you have 5 string bass with this tuning -" You Know You Know'" sounds good , I sneaked in a little bit of it in the mid section of this.
Well, so far i have a 4 bass, and not enough money to get a 5 string (tho i would really like, i taught myself to play bass on 5 string and got used to it - not to mention that i prefer the spacing on 5 stringers). But will do, will do... So far i have to enjoy playing this song on a normal guitar :)
Thanks very much , glad someone liked it . Actually it wasn't a real wah pedal . As my proper wah pedal had worn out pots . I used a Digitech RP100 effects pedal with the Cry Baby wah simulation , controlled it with an expression pedal.
