  • You are great¡¡ Very nice lessons

  • Been playing and studying theory on my own for 8 months and these videos are an invaluable resource that really help me connect the dots.

    Thanks

  • Love the hat.

  • bad hat

  • Sorry for my English... The problem [for me]is how to hit strings, Not how to move fingers...you know... You always show how to move fingers on the chords but hardly to see when you hit the strings to make sound....there are 6 strings but which one that i should hitttt T____T

  • @lakanasopajan1989 When he shows the chord, forexample he shows E maj 7 add9 chord X76777, the X stands for the string you do NOT play. The rest you do play, what he is doing in this video, is strumming, but he mutes the strings with his palm afterwards in a single motion. E.g, he strums down, and then uses the meat of his hand, to mute the strings afterwards, creating a precussive typical blues feel/atmosphere. hope this helped a little, if you want more info, please pm me.

  • @lonewolf1234512345 Hey Marty, thanks for that mate...

  • i gotta say.... you are the freakin man at teaching guitar. Obviously a great player as well, but the key here is you know how to teach what you are playing to a degree where anyone with basic knowledge of guitar can develope their own licks/sound, but still utilize your methods of how to achieve it. Keep up the vids marty.

  • Sounds deam good! B.B. King Style!

  • @lonewolf1234512345 its not showing off, its called feeling it, he has fun while he shreads his guitar, thats what marty is known for on youtube, and he's know for being the best teacher on here and anywhere else

  • you are one of the best guitarplayers. your guitarplaying is perfect !!

    good job!!!

  • wicked

  • Incredible stuff.

  • thank you for video . This is incredible blues

  • Shot bro!!!

  • This guy is one damn good blues guitar player, you should make a blues CD. In crafting a solo, you have to build it phrase by phrase and don't force the connections. My best friend just released a single with a 2 minute guitar solo. The song is "Play'n Rock'n Roll" by Curtis Mitchell from Dallas. By the way, rock comes from the blues, so if you want to play rock solos, you must master the blues.

  • 06:29
