I love this music. He and Tangerine Dream have had a profound effect on soundtracks and science fiction-themed music. Matter of fact, Mass Effect game has a gorgeous soundtrack that was heavily influenced by this kind of music. Tell me Clint Mansell wasn't influenced by Klaus or TD :)
Klaus Schulze best in the world. /Tiesto нервно курит в сторонке/ (Dj PIEL (музыкальный критик) P.S. --- Лучший в мире электронщик, композитор, бог музыки, я им восхищаюсь) (The BEST Tracks - Klaus Schulze - Tne art of s, From dawn It, Welcome to the moog brothers, Are you sequenced 1, Moogy baby goes solo ...
I recall my initial introduction to this kind of music back in the 70's. It was Tangerine Dream's Phaedra. I was a mesmerized teenager. Lying in my bedroom with my headphones on...it was otherworldly sonic bliss. I had never heard anything like it. Took me a few more years to discover Klaus.
If you came out on stage with this much equipment today, you'd live the stage as god. This blows away any modern electronic, rock 'n roll or pop setup. I love how around the 7th minute people start looking around, thinking wtf is all this coming from 1 guy? Haha, synths rule!
You know it's awesome when it has you thinking WTF ?!?! I love stuff like this...this is stuff that gets ones imagination flowing...this is stuff that one can get lost in...just put the headphones on...close your eyes...you don't even need drugs ;)
@MrSYSTEM20 The St. Michiels Kathedral version (1977) is also highly recommended, will soon go submit in my other channel (Borigrado) that track (50 mins).
p.s:also I feel flying over the ethereal infinite with this music dear friend ;)
@Armando590406 El album Live in St Michiels Kathedral se parece a la musica de este video, busca en la red o por Soulseek, desconozco si hay un album de este en video. saludos.
@FractalBolt He is one of the many musicians of electronic music from the 70's that in the last 20-15 years suffer the 'syndrome of whatever music': Froese, ex TD (Franke, Schmoelling), Vangelis, Jarre, Hutter, Schneider, etc. .. I also like the beginning of Schulze, seems to be a rule that the more technology less musical creativity : \
@zebramasklover Yeah , I like your comment :) ; I uploaded 1 mpeg file [not AVI] , is available in p2p Soulseek if you have interested [sorry my english is NO perfect]. Greetings
@kotep777 There is an album of this record, but can not remember the name now ... meanwhile the most similar record lp is "Klaus Schulze live at St Michiels Cathedral in Brussels (October 17th, 1977 )"---> very hard to find on the web, But Not in SoulSeek;)
Transcendental excellence created by a genius mind. The true master of analogue synthesizers.

I would like to say : this video it`s a document about music.
If somebody does not like it`s ok. No need watching.
But I really appreciate this because Klaus did & still doing amazing music.
Thank You very much for all efforts about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The filtered sequence that comes in at about 4:00 wouldn't sound out of place in a modern dance track.

I LOVE Schulze's early work.... I'm not a fan of his latter, world/techno/whatever work. But his early space ambient music, my god, my GOD.....
