I love this music. He and Tangerine Dream have had a profound effect on soundtracks and science fiction-themed music. Matter of fact, Mass Effect game has a gorgeous soundtrack that was heavily influenced by this kind of music. Tell me Clint Mansell wasn't influenced by Klaus or TD :)

I recall my initial introduction to this kind of music back in the 70's. It was Tangerine Dream's Phaedra. I was a mesmerized teenager. Lying in my bedroom with my headphones on...it was otherworldly sonic bliss. I had never heard anything like it. Took me a few more years to discover Klaus.

If you came out on stage with this much equipment today, you'd live the stage as god. This blows away any modern electronic, rock 'n roll or pop setup. I love how around the 7th minute people start looking around, thinking wtf is all this coming from 1 guy? Haha, synths rule!

I LOVE Schulze's early work.... I'm not a fan of his latter, world/techno/whatever work. But his early space ambient music, my god, my GOD.....

@FractalBolt He is one of the many musicians of electronic music from the 70's that in the last 20-15 years suffer the 'syndrome of whatever music': Froese, ex TD (Franke, Schmoelling), Vangelis, Jarre, Hutter, Schneider, etc. .. I also like the beginning of Schulze, seems to be a rule that the more technology less musical creativity : \
