Playing Infamous though remote play on psp

@Shawn28341 Also does FULL SCREEN tv out as well for games and for movies that are streaming through the hdd for the ps3. Or like tversity the ps3 is streaming that --> then streamed to the psp.. Youtube and such as well.. And the way you use your right thumb stick is set it under the PS emblem on the psp and settings control set up option 2. Then hold the select button while using the left thumb button to look around and then release.. Really not as bad as it sounds though..

also btw, you can use ps3 controller on psp (it's supported in the Settings)

hmm... If you have a hacked psp, you can enable the remote play thing and then use remotejoylite and bam, you can record the videos w/ no capturecard

Question for ya Kman.....Ok I have the editor and what not to do this, but like someone said how do you open the backup manager if it wont allow remote play, are you editing its SFO also. Are you opening the backup manager to load the game to Disc then remote playing the game?

@79emonSpaw7v just open up backup manager first and load the game then go to remote play. i have played around trying to remote play the backup manager but with no success (then again i didnt try very hard).

I also wish you could do this via internet connection on your psp and not only thought private network via direct connect to your ps3. But since you can't sign into PSN anymore with 3.41 even with the dns or proxy hack,,, i guess it's better than nothing. Great find.

A few of my games don't seem to work even with psp remote play checked. Uncharted 2 and Motorstorm to name a couple

@GetPatriotized well it comes down to the fact that the psp doesn't have a second analog stick or r2 , r3 , l2, l3 so yea but hopefully some one will make it so we can use are ps3 controls while in remote play or something.

Yeah I know but I played PS3 games using my PSP as a controller.

LBP worked fine though I can't slap people or move my arms xD Gran Turismo 5P worked great too.Had to map different buttons but it worked.

@KmanN321 Hate to replay to a 4 month old comment, but psp go has ds3 connectivity, so there's really no excuse outside of latency, for sony not to do this.

@GetPatriotized It's really because of the amount of data that has to be transferred. Games that were made with remote play in mind even lag a bit. Remote playing games that weren't made for it just adds more. Notice how when he hits X there is a slight delay from when it responds on the screen. That makes most games annoying to play remotely except the ones that were made for it or really simple ones.

@butterbean954 Well about a week or so ago some one released a thing called PS JailBreak which is a Dev Usb stick that by faking a 6 port usb hub could run homebrew on the ps3. soon after some one got a hold of one and hacked it making PSgroove sense then it has been ported to work on cell phones and calculators (which is how i did it) for more i would check out Ps3Hax.net

How did you start up the backup manager in remote play???

@hydromodz I Just tried and all u have to do is change Data Type over to DG - Disc Game and click the psp Remote-Play check box. might upload another video for proof in a bit.

so if we can do this with PSP remoteplay, is there a chance it could work with VAIO remote play, remember it has higher perfromance than a PSP

@omracer6 Maybe in time but as of right now it doesn't seem to work. but who knows at the rate Homebrew and ps3 shit is getting cracked it might be only a few days.

@omracer6 It could have higher performance but VAIO remote play doesn't let you play any remote play games like the PSP does. I could be wrong I only have the hacked PC remote play working on my ASUS laptop and every game I go to says remote play not supported for this title even the ones that work on PSP normally. So its either in the PC remote play software or somewhere else in another file on the PS3 that would have to be modded also.

Is it on CFW or OFW on the psp? How are the graphics? Does it lag?

@squishyy3 CFW 5.50 GEN-D and the graphic are a little fuzzy and i havent seen any lag. getting ready to try out making backup manager and cod 4 work though the remote play.
