you have to find new vinyl's, i suggest just look around on youtube and look at the description and there is usually a link that has all sorts of stuff on it.
Due to my lack of skill, concerning the mixing or cutting of HipHop music, I tend to play more dance music (which contains everything with a 4-4 beat, in my opinion) ... this is quiete sad coz many of my friends are more into HipHop, as into dance music.
But I will improve myself throu your videos, that I can also play some HipHop for them. And there are so many friggin good hiphoptracks out there !
You can scratch anythink to everythink, from pre-manufactured battle weapons to old 45's. There is no limit on what you can't scratch to or with, from basslines, hi hats, vocals, sheep mugging old people, johnathan having his nappy changed etc. If you want more advice give me a shout.
Yep, seagulls doing kamikize hedge cutting, freaky elephants in tesco, dodgy white van stalking sheep, after eight mint massacre, old people on zimmer frames getting run over by stream rollers etc. It's all possible through the wacky, unorthodox world of scratching johnathan! Now where did i put my happy pills???
arret ty lyk its jus cos the vinyls i use to scratch with u cant hardly hear them even when the cross fader ( a think wot its called ) is closer to the vinyl am scratchin with thn tha 1 am usin if yh gt ma jist??
Basically the Kam mixer your using is designed purely just for mixing, it doesn't had a crossfader curve or any crossfader setting. You can still scratch tho, just have to use the phono/line switches or volume faders to scratch with.
Basically with the crossfader all you doing is cutting the sound frequencies on and off through your mixer, there are many different scratches that require the crossfader to be moved at different times and speed. 30 percent of scratching is cutting with the crossfader, the other 70 percent is how you move, control and manulipate the sample and record.
u suck
