e6600 and asus p5b overclocking tutorial in english stage 2

I have a Problem with my P5B Deluxe if I raise FSB above 320. Have a E6420 2,13

ATM running at 2566MHz

RAMDDR2-800 running on 800MHz

but anything above 320 let the PC not start.

Heard that it got stable again at about 400Mhz any idea ?

Got it was NB Voltage now running happy and stabile at 2800MHz Orthos said OK ;-)

CPU voltage at 1.225

FSB @ 1.3V , 350MHz

by the way bios 0504 for mobo or 0404 is completely board dependent.i now can get over 1200mhz with 0504,with 0404 it was 980ish max

ur RAM?? ddr2 800??667?? i cant oc my pc one bit! its really lame,,could be the 667RAM i'm using, that's causing the errors...I also have VISTA and that's the worst OS ever!...

vista rocks!using hyperx 1066,doesn't like to run at 1066 but it's great ddr800-i run it at 1:1 with fsb at 411x9 or 462x8

I'm ruuning @ 3.1GHz at the moment :) I changed to 800MHz RAM, and now it's runnin stable (on air!) :) i've got the same mobo as u.

And now I actually like Vista more than XP. It took some time to get used to something new! :)

control panel/performance/adjust for best perf.

vista is more operational than prev versions were at this stage.

have u got a mobo with enough settings/mods?

im like jsut getting into overclocking and i need a working program for my cpu p4 2.66 ghz 512 ram at engine 197mhz and memory at 190mhz im using powerstrip adn cant get clockgen to work i start it up aand after that is frezzes please help btw im runnning a vpr matrix if u could maby tell me a program or tell me waht im doing wrong with clockgen ty = }

very nice tools, you should put a list with links though so people don't have to search as much to find them. Very nicely done. I have an E6600 OC'ed to 3.01GHz, and its fine there. I might try to get it up to 3.2GHz, but I might need more cooling as it idles at 48-50C, Under load for 30 min it doesn't top over 63, and that was when the room is about 29C, hot day...

I'm running 334Mhz with a multiplier of 9, and 1.35 volts. Seems to be very stable, ran Prime95 for 45 min, not a single error or hickup. Ran GTA:SA and CS:S for a few hours and it ran great. Now its cooler today, about 20C in the office now, and the computer idles at 32-33C. Ran more stress testing and it maxed out at about 47-48C. Ambient temps make a huge difference, lol.
