Having said that, the effort was very good.
I have now seen the original, creative efforts by WVU, UTA, MIT, IIMB.
While each 'remix'(if these cover versions can be called that) has shown some creative streak or the other, I noticed one common thing - in the urdu section - the Deepa Sahi lookalike or actalike, leaning on to a pillar.
This video is "heavily inspired" (read 99% copy) by MIT's version (including the cricket scene) which was original. I live in Arlington so I can recognize some of the landscapes but you guys need to be more "creative". Why copy MIT?
yes it is inspired and we never deny it. Thats why we even put it in the first part that it is inspired. Cricket is a part of Indian culture so it has to come somewhere and that is the best part for it to appear. We were/ are not trying to show out creativity here. It is just for ths students in arlington to identify themselves with the environment. It was never made to prove creaticity

But, When the lyrics are "Barsan Hole Hole" , In Every Video Re-Made, The Girl Exactly does as in the original. It seems a bit funny on why every1 is so impressed with that style!!! I enjoyed it a lot though!!!!! it was so cute!!! :) :) :)
we are Indians wherever we are and our Indianness will always remain. As a matter of fact those who follow Indian values despite staying in foreign land is more Indian than those who are in India but are simply aping the West. I think you are just jealous of prosperous guys.

but there is a sense of irony in it all.
We guys r proud of our land only when we step
out our land.When we are back in India
we disrespect each other,dirty the country,spit anywhere
throw garbage,pee wherever .etc :(.
