First off, you're more than welcome to not like the video. I don't expect every person to like my videos. If you're just into effect videos, then I will say my style of editing isn't for you. Effects are something that I still have to explore and develop. If you're into the normal effect whored Final Fantasy youtube video, then I say you have no taste and should go watch all the other FF videos that all look the same and have no real point to them.

As for my scene choice, I felt it was pretty accurate in most places:

1-Rufus' crime with shinra on the world, effecting the children. It's why it's his 'dirty' face. All crimes go back to shinra/rufus in this video.

2-'Live a lie': Despite Sephiroth being close with Zack and generally a good guy, all that fell apart. The idea of SOLDIER and the bonds that were formed were a lie.

3-1st chorus, it's pretty much meant to be an action sequence for the most part. Nothing special about it. You could say that Zack is 'rocking' when he arrives in battle, but even then there isnt too much to it. I guess I just wanted to establish him more or something

I like this part because I felt it suited Sephiroth a lot because of his experience upon discovering his origin and that Jenova was his mother.

'He stuck his middle finger to world': After discovering his origins, Sephiroth is essentially saying 'F you' to the world as he takes his revenge, starting with Zack and Cloud.

6-'You'll get yours...I got mine' - Not that Cloud deserved to loose Zack or anything, he didn't, but they did get owned and now it's time to go own shinra (not that this happens in the video, but it's something fans of the series should be able to pick up on)

7-The entire bridge is meant to convey Cloud's relationship with Zack. Zack essentially gives Cloud life because he was his best friend.

8-End- Cloud uses that strength/life to go defeat Sephiroth.

Why would I finish this video? It was going for a good portion of my grade in my Editing Class. I got an A, but like I said in the description I'm not satisfied with this video. I dont think it sucks, but at the same time I dont think it's anything special.

I was thinking of redoing it, but I just don't have the feel for video any more. Like I said in the description, I uploaded it because a student in my class wanted it uploaded. I also knew that some people would enjoy it. I don't have much to loose by uploading it. So I figured I'd go ahead and upload it.

I never said that I was into effect loaded shit. What I was getting at is that this was a failed raw video if you might put it that way. And who ever said anything about youtube and other sites? Maybe you are too insecure and become irrational at an opinion like the one I gave you. If you can't handle the truth about your video, there is no point in you being an editor. =|

Well we are on Youtube, so I can only assume that you have seen the other videos. I didnt assume much of anything about you since I dont know you, and that's why there are a couple of suggestions as to wat tastes you may have. I'm very open to constructive criticism and as I've said before I acknowledge that the video isn't special or in anyway above average. The explanation I put in for scene choice is just incase there were somethings you may have not gotten. If you don't like it, that's fine.

But this all goes back to my argument of why would you not redo it at least so that you can like it? Sure, you might call it a fail. But if you aren't going to call it that and you aren't satisfied with the result, why even upload it? Makes no sense.
