  • I'm a beginner at taking care of Betta fish, check out my tank and tell me what you guys think? =]

  • how much did it cost

  • that looks like a really tall 5g tank..

  • Can I put 4 Fancy Guppies and 1 mystery snail in a 5 gallon tank? Or at least 2 Fancy guppies and a mystery snail? I dont want tetras again :-p

  • how many guppies or tetras would you recommend in a 5 gallon aquarium?

  • is this really 5 gallons? cause it seems like there are lotta fish? and i was taught that the rule is 1inch = 1 gallon? was i taught wrong? i'd appreciate your kind responses - anyone?

  • @yood0725 yeah. ur right

  • i have a 5 gallon tank... only one fish... my other fish died yesterday

  • Misrepresentation, not a demo or information. Just music.

  • WHICH IS BETTER? NEON OR GUUPPY

  • @wigglezhujun neon

  • @wigglezhujun Guppy

  • let me know how many more snails you had within a 2 week period those things multiply like crazy

  • Question - For your fish tank in the filter there is a thing u but in it right u should know what i mean , well i have one but i dont know where to get a new thing and what is that called -mine is like a square, thing like cotton covering it and its like proteected in side with plastic something like that.sorry if i cant really explain because im a beginner. So where do i get those filter thingy ?

  • which fish is better ? neon or tetra in the sense that which is easier to keep

  • thx for replying u are great gonna surcribe ... I hope all the video poster reply the comment like u

  • @Allray15. Totally kool aquarium. What are you going to do with all of the cute babies? I bet it feels good to get your fish to breed like that. That lets you know that you're doing things right.

  • yah, they all grown up. unfortunately, i have to give some to my relatives and friends since i dont have space to care them. anyways, its really good breeding them!

  • what did you do to the fry?

  • i kept it for some time then decided to give to relatives and friends for them to take care of. I didnt have enough space at that time. :)

  • can you post a video of setting up tis fish tank?

  • i wish i could. Apologies if i cant. dont worry keep it touch, will be posting great vids soon.!chow!

  • @allray15 its chiao

  • nice tank and fish ... great decor :O)

  • thanks a lot, hope to see yours soon.

  • i have goldfish

    is tetra fin okay?

  • ima start breeding guppys to feed to my crabs n cichlid . lobster lol

  • good luck to that!

  • thats fine, as long its a gold fish food then go ahead. make sure to follow instructions. 30sec rule feeding.

  • how did you get the fry guppies in the little bucket? did you put the male and female there till the fry guppies hatched?

  • Well you will usually see the guppies when its ready for hatch fry the part where the fry will go out will be darker and guppies will tend to swim slower, so thats the time you will transfer them to other place for the guppy to release the frys. it takes overnight.

  • i would probably get another female guppy as that seems to be being harrased by the male a bit too much:)

  • that second thing with fry guppies freaked me out but still nice

  • i didnt have a choice , its only a small bucket! thanks for the appreciation.

  • uhm take the bubble maker under ur gravel no wonder ur guppy stayes on the top usually guppy are top feeder but sometimes they go down

  • thanks for the advice. well actually the male is chasing the female guppy so wherever it goes it follows. besides danios are already at the top.

  • Lol

    hi again...

    You Live in Duabi>>>???

    Lol

    Me too

    Im A fillippino too

    But im 11 years old

    Lol

  • you live in dubai as well? which place? :)

  • Satwa

    Why do you ask?

  • Lol

    Nice one...

Its like in Hawaii ocean Lol...

    Good Job!

My Mom Still ganna Buy Fish

for our new Fish Aquarium =)

  • Thanks bro! hawaii? never thought of that! hehe.. well god luck to you and your new fish aquarium.

  • looks good but its not what i would put in my tank...mine has a lot of aquatic plants and wood with rocks much more natural everyone has their own taste of setup i guess

  • good view, yes your right. everyone has its own taste. i would rather put lots of aquatic plants , wood and rocks in a bigger tank than this

  • NICE tank!

  • Thanks a lot mate! enjoy~

  • I found a rock in the ocean can I wash it and put it in my 5 gallon betta and ghost shrimp

  • well its ok as long its not from sea :) because rocks or shells from saltwater areas still have the salt content even after several washing which are not good for some type of freshwater fishes.

  • absolutely beautiful fish tank setup bro. gorgeous guppies! nice job

  • thank you for the appreciation bro!.

  • actually i was confused about the question ask. Ghost Shrimps do eat small fishes once caught. they have this behaviour and experienced it. ofcourse they can only attack smaller than there size. thats why its better to have them in big spaces are overcrowding them can cause attacks to one another.

  • gupi's?

  • yah.. like it?

  • ok thanks i took your advice now what do u think i should put into the tank? =)

  • how big is the tank you bought?based on the size of tank i can advice you further. keep in touch mike.

  • very cool imma put up my tank as soon as i finish it

  • ghost shrimps DO NOT eat fish......

  • i just got my new tank like a week ago but i only put two ghost catfish in it and an algee eater with some decorations in it. what else can i put into the tank?

  • if you have a 5 gallon go return BOTH of those fish right now! Algea eaters or plecos(same thing) get 1 foot and need at least a 50 gallon and I dont know to much about ghost cats but im pretty sure you have them in a 5g tank

  • how big is your tank? actually ghost catfish dont really grow big, but they are really nice to watch because of the transparent body of them. what algae eater you have?pleco?SAE / CAE ? if you have small tank, any kind of tetras are the best for it.

  • neon tera or blue lamp eye are very nice

  • @mike187ism - Thanks bro hope you like it. those are my favorites.

  • what fish are good to put in with 2 ghost shrimp for a five gallon tank

  • @nosyiam - ghost shrimps are omnivous so means will eat anything and can fish. its better to buy fishes that swim on the top and middle like danios or tetra's , never buy fishes that can swim in the bottom of your tank as ghost shrimp might caught them for dinner. :)

  • Hey,

What's the name of the song and artist

    playing along with your video?

  • @blueflamekota - i apologies , i forgot the song, and actualy dunno how to check it once applied :)

  • Hello, Im wanting to start a 5 gallon tank and I was wondering if 5 tetras and 1 guppy would be too much to put in this tank. thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @YoutwixMe - how big are the guppies? it should be alright . just dont add more. it will overcrowd and you will have problems. thanks for watching. apperciated.

  • thanks I totally changed my mind lol. Im going to get 4 neon tetras and 2 male guppies. The guppies are about 1 inch long. Thanks for answering me! :)

  • About 1 inch. Thanks.

  • @YoutwixMe - thanks ok, just dont exceed to the 1inch per gallon rule.

  • how much would a filter be?

when you say air pump, what do you mean?

is there certain fish that have to have an air pump?

are the filters universal, like, can they go on all different tanks.

i have so many questions, sorry!

  • 1. filter will cost you only 10 USD or less.

    2. this means the device that generates bubbles inside the tank. (oxygen)

    3. yes ofcourse fishes need oxygen, however fishes like bettas, zebras, tetras can live without airpump but regular water changes needs to be done.

    4. there are different type of filters, like internal filter, overheadfilters, hangOnBack filters, canister filters and so on... they go accordingly to you need and tank requirements.

  • how much does it cost you monthly to care for the fish in this video?

  • well its not too much. as soon as you setup everything you dont need to worry about the cost. they are only small fishes and eat little so your 20g flake food will last for 6 months to 12 months.

  • oh yeh, coudnt find any place where to put them but it was temporary and transfered to a bigger place. =)

  • Lol the Fry Guppies look more like Mosquitos!

I have had my 5 Gallon tank for about a Year and have had 2 Goldfish and they just love it

  • yah your right , good luck anyways.!

  • thanks! i have a 5gallon tank myself which ive had for almost 2weeks now. please check it out and probably you can give me some tips

  • hi, is your tank ok now? i was on vacation.

  • yup! my tank is actually good now! i think my betta loves it when i added two plastic plants which i will change into live plants soon when we move.. I might get a new tank so i can setup a community tank. because my betta see's his reflection when i turn on the lights

  • cool, but put live plants soon, you will see the difference! good luck!

  • i have that exact same male guppy in my ten gallon tank! please check out my updated fish tank video and tell me how im doin!

  • eat the white fish??

  • yeh! huh? which white fish?

  • your gupies are mating or are they not

  • yes they are, actualy had already guppy fry.

  • nice

  • Beginners need bigger tanks, there is more room for error.

  • That's what the problem is , begginers needs to start from the 1st level to the next level, its easy for them to see what exactly going on inside the tank, ofcourse as a beginner you should start with hardy small fishes with small quantity. you can easily see if you have fed it to much or if fish dies that you can easily notice them compare to switching to first to large tanks. Beginners should see the real fact they are into and not relying on errors because they will get use to it.

  • i have a 5 gallon bowfront acrylic fish tank that i had for 1 goldfish it died n 2 years then i finnally figured out that 1 goldfish needs about 15 gallons! dat was a huge mistake 4 me, im not sure if i should move on 2 a 10 gallon or stick to my 5, but what kind of fish wud u reccommend for a 5 gallon tank? and also a 10 gallon?

  • i need help can you tell me how many gallons mine what my vidoes and it will show

  • how do i set up a internal aquarium filter? is it as easy as plugging it in and putting it in the water?

  • yes , lots of products in the market. as soon as you buy it , stick it to ur tank and plug it, no hussle. some internal filters are together with mechanical filtration inside so no need to worry. just make sure you fill your tank first with water before you turn it on :)

  • thanks!

  • My 5 Gallon Fish Tank (Guppy,Guppy Babies,Zebra,Tetra Neon and Yellow Snail).

Good for Beginners who want to start an aquarium,

    What you need :

    Tank - 3 Gallon to 10 gallon's for beginners.

  • Filter - Internal filters / Bottom filters are good at this stage.

Heater - Depends on the place. If your leaving in a cool place then you might need to buy it. But if your in a room temp place then no need. Just make sure to monitor the temp of the tank.

Thermometer - to monitor the temp of your tank. Good for temp between 22'C to 32'C max.

  • Gravel - White or Red are good. Mixing it will bring good sight in your tank.

Wood - (optional) little wood will be just fine.

Aquatic plants - I recommend to atleast have 1 or 2 plant inside. Benifits of giving oxygen.

  • Fish - for beginners its better to choose small fish, like Zebra,Guppy and Tetra fish as they can adjust easily on your tank temperature and dosent need much oxgyen (no need to add pump). You can add these 3 type of fish all of them in tank. Make sure to keep them pair to one another.

Fish Food - Dont use other brands that are cheaper. Prefer TETRA MIN for better and healthier fish.
