  • lol...that's the first person i've ever seen that mows with their legs crossed

  • Ahhh...Tiger. Love Scag mowers.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Its best to shoot the clippings in the uncut grass that way you can cut them smaller and finer on the next pass. Thats just what i do on my mower and way.

  • @hottie1415 if you do that then u end up having to mow in a circle and the clippings build up and then clump. sorry but your wrong

  • @alexschultz1 Before you call me out, why dont you think about what your saying. You start mowing from the middle and cuit the grass in two parts. Thanks. I know. . .thats how i cut.

  • @macdonaldjohnston thats the briggs vanguard on this model

  • buahahahahaha sounds lawnmower

  • hes driving and watching naruto cartoon in japanese

  • i do the same thing when i mow i dont d oa 180 no rips

  • I also notice how he doesnt make a full 180 on the grass. This is a good technique cause it doesnt rip or put bald spots in the grass.

  • @treyatl2006 But there is a way to do that with out tearing up the lawn.

  • :D good job

  • They cut nice, but without bagging it, show that lawn a few days later and see how it looks w/ all that dead grass on top of the lawn.

  • Baggin' is bad for your grass... You are robbing it from its natural nutrients. Any botony/lawn expert will tell you this. And Ive never had any problem with seeing dead grass after using the side discharge. The clippings are so small you cant even see them.

  • @treyatl2006 how does it hurt the lawn by bagging i bag my back yard it's fine not brown still got pure color?

  • say, how many in, is the deck of this mower in the video

  • is this lawn mower for sale if it is send me a msg please

  • im liking how you actually back up to turn around... alot of landscapers just try to get the job done fast and end up ripping the lawn up. good job

  • @KevinmovieS acctually If you are a pro, you can zero turn, it takes a lot of practice but can be done correctly with out tearing divots in the lawn. The K turn is just a safe method.

  • @KevinmovieS if you slow down or almost stop and then do a zero turn it will not rip up the lawn...some can't do it right and try to do a zero turn without slowing down enough and the inside tire just stays still....it's supposed to be going backwards while the outer wheel goes forwards during the turn

  • jesus saves

  • chill out dude its just a lawn mower

  • How much does that thing cost?

  • their anywhere from 8 to 12k new depending on the model

  • i think its a diesel though no need for a diesel unless your cutting like 4 foot grass

  • @joeldude76 briggs vanguard

  • Great machines, the best cutting deck in the industry. The only one that you can cut wet grass with and not clog the deck.

  • My ez mark doesnt clog......But the skags are a hell of a nice machine

  • What sort of engine does it have, a Kohler, Kawasaki, or a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard.

  • most of the are kohler 24hp

  • which would moost of you prefer , a huslter, scag, or bob-cat

  • Yeah, there would be a bagger for it.

  • nice that looks kindof like my work

  • Looks fast, is that machine able to collect the grass clippings? does it have any kind og bagging attachments?

  • That's why I bought a Scag Cougar, bag, mulch, side discharge all with the same machine!

I would never leave that much cut grass on a lawn!

  • I financed a 2007 Scag tiger cub 3 months ago. I got the pto blower & triple bagger. It was delivered during a snowstorm so I haven't used it yet. The weather is changing but it's been to cold. Nefore this I had owned a 1989 180 John Deere commercial, the transmission finally went on it. I purchased a brand new Husqvarna, it lasted 7.5 hours before that transmission just stopped working. Sears came and got it after two weeks. Homeowner style not good for me, this is why I went to a Scag.

  • You'll like the Scag, it's a heavy duty machine but a heavy machine too. I have 300 hours on mine now, never had a problem, never been in the shop either. I changed the oil over to Mobil 1 after 100 hours & keep it greased religiously with synthetic grease.

I think 2005 was the last year for the Cougar and I got one of the last one's made.

  • The Cougar is just like a Walker but more versatile.

This guy in this VID is cutting way too short and leaving way too much grass on the lawn. But if you have customers that don't really care or don't know any different then more power to him.

But if you do high end lawns you could never get away with this. It looks like he's cutting somebody's farm out in the middle of nowhere!

  • If you read any good lawn maintenance books, they all recommend cutting between 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Keeps weeds out, keeps from burning up in summer & grass stays greener throughtout the year.

If you cut too short and burn it up, then you won't have to cut their lawn on a weekly basis, that's money out of your pocket!

  • @BobbieandSteveDooley cut it short in the spring and early fall.....cut it a little higher in july and august when it's really dry and hot :)
