Isn't it possible that many people who are unsuccessful dating have too much "self-worth" combined with a lack of actual worth? That is to say, there is a feeling of entitlement since you "deserve" better, when you actually don't. Not to say that there aren't people who lack confidence, but I think that a blanket statement "you deserve better" can potentially screw a lot of people over who would be happy if they just set the bar a notch lower. You can always work your way up later.

I loved this video!! I have been watching for a while, but as I was watching this particular vid, I felt like I needed to comment on it. It is so true that when you are with someone, that if you are giving your all, but are getting nothing in return, it is usually a lot better to just drop the relationship. Just stepping back and looking at how the relationship is working out helps a lot. If he/she is not putting into the relationship about an equal amount of effort, it is best to just drop it.
