My bf was telling me about when he was in school and a friend of his had a black father so technically he was black, but his skin was white. So when his teacher questioned him about why he put black down as his ethnicity his parents raised all hell and came in and yelled at the teacher and the principle, because the teacher who was black thought the boy was trying to be a smart ass to her.
