@TheLedGuitarist It is NOT a placebo... it is a fine pedal... that has a killer live sound... it is one of those pedals that you would replace if it got stolen...
Yeah.. I had a blackstar amp that didnt like pedal at all.. Trying to work the effects loop was a nightmare. Some pedals sounded good looped.. others were terrible. Some say all signal booster type pedals.. (dist/od/comp) should go straight into the preamp while chorus, reverb, delay should go through the loop.. who cares.. set it up to whatever sounds best to you is my suggestion.
@wedge070 Those rules DO apply. If you put the delay before the amp, and turn on the dirty channel the delay gets distorted as well. So instead of playing a delay of your distorted tone, it plays a distorted delay of your distorted tone... You don't want distorted delay, chorus, reverb etc. do you? But yeah, do what sounds good. But those rules really can help a LOT!
Effects can be positioned anywhere you want. It's a matter of taste. Some people say that compressor should always be before distortion/OD, but one of my friends likes the compressor after, because he gets a strange sound out of the compressed distortion. What I mean is, just try. Put your pedals in different orders, use different settings, that's what they are for, changing your sound, and every different setting will give you a different sound, just experiment!!!
I like the video demos but you need to add a new crusher demo and tremor demo not to mention a green screamer demo. You also need to add a new sonic stomp demo and an opto stomp demo. They're real helpful.
is the crusher true bypass? im really impressed with this bbe crusher it totally nails that 90's grunge sound, i gotta get this one lol

You didn't do much to really demonstrate the capabilities of that Crusher. I wanted to see just how "crushy" it could get lol.

so this means i can really use this sonic stomp without an effects loop. do you use it after the crusher or before, i guess after the crusher right?
some people say you have to use the sonic stomp only in the effects loop but i don't have one with my amp..

it doesn't matter you can you use that pedal on clean or distortion

maximize the distortion, dont distort the maximer...meaning the maximizer should always be at the end of your effects
RNRDOLL 1 year ago
@RNRDOLL says in the owners manual of the maximizer that it should always be at the end of your effects loop.
