I think it's fantastic that your school districts has found a good alternative to commercial hardware like the SmartBoard. I'm a student, so I have no idea how much our district spends on such things, but I imagine they could save quite a bit using Wiimote boards! In fact, some of the less-lucky teachers that were not issued interactive boards have taken it into their own hands, and done this! If only the district could standardize it, they could save enough money to be able to give good lunch!
I don't have a DIY on the telescoping pen. I can tell you that I bought the telescoping "antenna" part from Radio shack and used very thin wire that I think was used for train sets as it needed to be very flexible without breaking.

Do you have a link for a DIY for the construction of the telescoping pen?

Hi, do you know of any software that enables you to write anywhere in the screen without having to take any snapshot?
Like a real interactive whiteboard?
Thanks!
