@Dawnwalker19 for shield hits you need a really nice block value shield but i highly doubt based on the dmg of all her other skills like hammer and AS. Most likely she stacks what everyone else stacks for prot paladin pvp which is straight up strength.

The crit she did may have been another set of armor that stacked all block value who knows.

And as for pve gear and bonuses, only reasonable items to wear are:

- 2xt10 for +20% dmg with HotR

- 2xt9 for additional +5% dmg with HotR (prefered helm and legs cuz they have additional block value)

- any shield with additional shield block value (he uses alliance verion of shield from ToC10 or ToC25)

- rest of gear should be straight for ret pvp or ret pve with stacked STR, CRIT and HASTE (for higher HotR dmg cuz it's scales with main hand weapon dps)

Im playing as a protret paladin to, but i must say, it's hard for me to crit like this with my ShR... but when you look closer to this video you will see this buffs: Paragon (str increase from Death's Verdict) and Block Increased (form Lavanthor's Talisman) which give nice kickass buff for our output damage.

But you can use those both trinkets cuz you're a human = free pvp trink.

lets be serious 18k for a prot pala, i am not saying that this is fake, but obvious this guy is full buffed..and other enchants for fights that give atack power or dmg increase..its like a clip i've seen from tbc, with a rogue with alot of buffs criting with ambush for 25k. A full buffued mage or warlock can crit up to 25-30k.
